After a prolonged absence, our longtime D.C. Insider sends us this message regarding the inner workings of the Obama White House, including an “eruption” from Michelle Obama, and an administration breaking under the strain of accumulating scandals and a disapproving American public.
Don’t have much time, on the road, but I’ll try and answer as many of your questions as I can.
Regarding the dynamics of the White House at this time it is same as it ever was which is batsh-t crazy 24/7 in there. There was an episode involving the First Lady and a member of her staff that shook up everyone. It was a big enough deal it reached folks in Congress, who forwarded it on to some donors, who then had calls into Plouffe’s office wondering WTF was going on. The First Lady is being prepped as one of the few assets for the re-election campaign but those inside know she is as big a potential liability as anything associated with the administration. They are using her in controlled environments only. That’s the word from on high. What went down between her and the staff member wasn’t just a tantrum, or some shouting. It was put to me as being “an eruption”. Talking full on screaming here. Not the first time this kind of thing has happened. I’ve shared a bit of that w/you before but this was on another scale apparently. Put the WH on security alert for a brief time. It was that bad. No mention of the president’s involvement or reaction. He was apparently AWOL during the whole thing. First Lady is complaining a lot these days. LOUDLY. To everyone. Apparently a very unhappy woman.
As for the president, he is simply seeking guidance. Any guidance. His moods are becoming more and more withdrawn once he leaves whatever stage they send him to. Here’s a description that came my way last week you might find interesting:
“President Obama finished the speech, walked off the stage, was escorted to the back corridor where he collapsed into a seat against the wall. Both hands went to each side of his head which was leaning down almost between his knees. You could see marks on the sides of his face where the stage makeup had been rubbed off by his hands. He wears that stuff everywhere these days. A staffer walked up and leaned over the president and told him it was time to go. The president looked up, gave a little smile, and got to his feet slowly. Very slowly. The only word he said was “Yeah.” There was no excitement. No energy from him. The people around the president seemed to ignore his condition. They looked right through him until he started walking down the hallway toward the outside. They followed alongside him and seemed to kind of push him out the door. The president looked incredibly tired. Used up.”
That’s the dynamics of this White House. They are crumbling in amongst themselves. The donors, as I have been repeating to you for months, are getting more agitated and concerned each day. The president is being cornered and he doesn’t appear to have much fight left in him. Don’t take that as me being confident though. That makes him more dangerous than ever. He still has his hardliners around him. They will not give this up. Jarrett will break him apart if needed. Too much money on the line. They owe people. Pulling the plug is not an option for them. And while we have been working up the primary challenge against the president in the fall, I am hearing those bastards have been attempting to install a 3rd candidate scenario to split the vote. Not just idle talk, but actual negotiations having taken place. If they pull that off, well, I don’t know. We had not prepared for that scenario. It’s a long shot for them, but it put a scare in me. In all of us. Let our guard down there.
More importantly at the moment though is Fast and Furious. The Solyndra thing was an unexpected surprise. Had nothing to do w/that but happy to see it out there. If it continues to get attention from the public that’s great. The more the merrier when it comes to scandals against this administration. I continue to see Fast and Furious as the much bigger deal for this White House though. That has everyone running interference at a level only seen when something very big and very dangerous to a president is hovering over an administration. You keep asking about Issa. At this point I don’t know. Information has been effectively shut down from his office. That either means a deal has been struck and some stooge will take the fall, or they are preparing to go all in on this thing. A Watergate type moment. At this point it’s one or the other. Holder has openly insulated himself and the president. Doing it so openly means he’s either very confident or very afraid. I am hoping its fear that is motivating him to cover his tracks right in front of everyone. Been told there is a memo, or was a memo, tying Fast and Furious directly to some kind of proposed gun control legislation or plan. Not certain how developed it was. Something that was pending . The memo is a direct link between the program and the gun control issue. An entire coordinated effort that required people to be killed. It is being talked about, but I have not seen it or spoken with anyone who has. So who knows? If it does exist and if Issa or someone comparable to him has it, then it implicates the administration at an entirely new level of corruption here. We’re talking about people marching on the White House and throwing them out on their ass. Either way, if Fast and Furious is to break out completely against this White House, it needs to happen soon, so we will have our answer either way.

I shut down my account a week ago. Of course when you delete your account they keep it live but inactive for two weeks, so there’s really no point in hoping your trail will go away. No doubt they file it all away as an asset to sell to the highest (or friendliest) bidder.

The third party thing probably explains why Ron Paul met with Obama months ago.
Actually this explains why Ron Paul got a huge amount of time on Jon Stewart’s show recently. I would expect that Mr Stewart would be otherwise inclined to toot the Democratic horn, but perhaps Stewart was given orders to promote Paul based on the premise that the Repubs will be pushing forward Rick Perry. Basically turning Paul into this generation’s Ross Perot.
Possibly but not necessarily. He was getting virtually ignored in the debates and by the media, and this might have been something that Jon Stewart legitimately recognized. I’m hoping Perry and Romney trip and fall over their own swords between now and election.
Obama might be a wuss, but is immediate inner circle are very, very hard core. They will do anything to retain power. Indeed, that is the true power of our system, that such people can be conclusively thrown out of power by means of an election. They will go down hard.
Holder is running scared on Fast and Furious because he knows that there is a written smoking gun that is in unfriendly hands. A deal can be cut, but it will have to be one hell of a deal. In the end, the result might be that Obama is gone, anyway, so Holder (and others) are pondering why they should cut a deal for outrageous concession when Obama is going to get the boot, anyway. No wonder Obama has his head in his hands with his mascara running.
What is a “controlled” environment exactly? Any ideas?

If Issa has the memo, he will use it. The only questions is “when.” As for a so-called deal, what does the White House have that Issa could possibly want? Issa is really, really rich and he has one of the most powerful seats in Congress. The press loves to cast Issa as a villain and they have done so again and again. I believe what he desires at this point in his life is to be cast as the hero, the brave Sheriff. Whatever flows from that, he will exploit like any other successful politician, but right now I think his endgame is his reputation and his place in history. Time will tell. I believe this will all have some kind of resolution before the 2012 election. What I would like to know from the Insider is how does this all tie back to Chicago? And why isn’t the legal system there sentencing Rezo and Blago and the others? Very curious.
All of this was apparent back during the election. Anyone with half a brain could see this coming. First there was the Larry Sinclair thing where Sinclair accused Obama of having a homosexual relationship with him AND doing cocaine with him. Then there were all of those pesky law suits challenging his eligibility to be our President. No other President has walked into office under such a cloud of suspicion which is NOT going away. From Obama’s 16 different Social Security Numbers (none of which belong to him) to his dealings with the Chicago Democratic Machine and his Indonesian adoption by his Indonesian father Lolo Soetoro.
Then there is the fact that every time Obama gets on the TV and opens his mouth jobs are lost as the stock market tanks. Which lead to Obama claiming he had shovel ready projects just needing money to put Americans back to work and who can forget Obama’s Cash For Clunkers fiasco. I love it when Obama said his stimulus would create or save 3,000,000 jobs. Yep his stimulus created or saved 3,000,000 jobs alright. 3,000,000 jobs in CHINA.
The Obama Administration has been one failure followed by another failure followed by yet another failure. Even Obama’s Health care is bust as there is absolutely no way to fund it.

Yes I have Emma and I have the exact same problem with the Fair Tax as I do with the Income Tax. At some point someone is forced to turn their personal and private financial information over to the government without a proper warrant. In direct violation of the 4th Amendment.
The equal tax limits the amount of money the government is able to collect thus restricting their ability to spend. Not only that but since everyone is charged the exact same amount no one is forced to turn over any private or personal documents to the government in order to pay the tax.
If you stop to think about it the Equal Tax is the only fair tax. We all have access to our governments services equally. Yet a few pay way more for government services they will never use while a whole lot of people are using government services they will never pay for. Is that fair?
The Equal Tax charges everybody equally for the government services whether they use them or not. That is because if they are needed they are there for them to use regardless of their income.

I have wondered for months if Obama was going to have a mental breakdown, as it is obvious that he is over his head on somethings and the rest is so corrupt he will need to have an ‘ exit strategy’. I would not surprise if he does in fact have a public breakdown to provide an exit for him without all the embarrassment. Instead his die hard fans will feel sympathetic and of course blame those that see him fro what he is.

Considering the recent comments of NC Governor Perdu, it would appear they have chosen to use some method of cancelling the elections, thus going straight on to communist dictatorship instead of moving more slowlt towards it if Barry X knew he could coast to a second term. Remember Ken Melman’s surprise 4th of July testimony? With his own lawyer? Right after that happened there was a rumor going around that Melman had revealed the existance of a flash drive to Issa that supposedly contained *everything* about Fast and Furious, along with details about what was and wasn’t known to Congress and the public.
I strongly suspect that Melman gave a copy of that flash drive to Issa. I think that Issa has *everything*, and right now information is dripping out at just exactly the right rate to blow the Obama administration, and probably the entire Democratic party into pieces between now and the election if they don’t cut him loose pretty soon.
Now imagine what would happen if the Democrats came out (full on) against marijuana prohibition?
