So who is Leo Gerard and how is he connected to the Obama White House?
Gerard is the president of the United Steel Workers Union as well as Vice President of the AFL-CIO – two of the largest and most influential union organizations in the world.
Ah, but it appears Leo is far more than just that…
-Appointed adviser to President Obama: National Commission on Energy Policy and President’s Advisory Committee on Trade Policy and Negotiations.
-Board Member of the Apollo Alliance (Extension of the George Soros funded Tides Group – which was formerly led by ACORN founder Wade Rathke)
-Member of the IMF and ICEM global labor federations and was instrumental in creating Workers Uniting – the first GLOBAL labor union.
-Played a significant role in the WTO protests that took place in Seattle in 1999
-In early November Leo Gerard, during an MSNBC interview, declared the Occupy protests needed to get “more militant”:
You’re damn right Wall Street occupiers speak for us. They do in Pittsburgh, they do in Chicago, they do in Oakland, they do in San Francisco, they do all across the country. And I think what we need is, we need more militancy.
…Three days later the Occupy Oakland riots broke out.
-Points to Frances Fox Piven as one of his primary inspirations - Pivin, a member of the Progressives for Obama group, is co-author of the Cloward–Piven strategy, which calls for overloading the U.S. economy to precipitate a crisis that would lead to a replacement of the welfare system with a national system of “a guaranteed annual income and thus an end to poverty.”

…The Apollo Alliance is run by a slew of radicals, including Obama’s former “green jobs” czar, Van Jones; Jeff Jones, who heads Apollo’s New York branch and is a former top leader of the Weather Underground terrorist organization.
WND previously reported Apollo helped to craft portions of Obama’s “stimulus” bill.
Gerard is also on the board of two major Soros-funded groups, the Campaign for America’s Future and the Economic Policy Institute.

I hope the Progs enjoy the train ride, once people like Soros and Gerard manage to ruin everything. Soros will make sure they run on time and to the right destinations. FEMA is already prepared.

At least since the great society was launched in the 1960s, it seems to me that most all liberal government policies (including those put in place by Republican politics) have had the end result of making the American Gene pool weaker over time. I know this sounds politically incorrect and speaking of it is verboten.
However, that is what has happened and continues to evolve. Only 51% marriage, Most going to College don’t graduate but owe money, Few american kids that DO go to college take the “hard” degrees that are in demand. Jobs go begging because skills are not produced to fill them, The employer of choice is now the Federal government: cant be fired, reward not based on performance, little of real value for society produced. Etc., etc.
And I am not talking about different races with this comment. I am observing that , overall, our national gene pool could never produce, today, what this culture produced between, say, 1900-1990. We just don’t have it in us. We have given away, by our green policies, and the cultural fascism of political correctness, the real capital necessary to fund our people in good jobs, even if they were willing work. We have politically deemed profits something to be paid out to labor – as if Labor were the source of all value produced – instead of retained to fund new tools and better technology for labor to work with.
This guy, it seems to me, reading his self supplied bio in Wikapedia, seems to be a labor theory of value guy, who does not expect to have to buy the tools he himself uses (capitalist bosses must do that), and who is for equal outcomes.
As I said, weaker gene pool – tieing reward to the weakest link in that gene pool. That will drive said pool eventually to subsistence and then extinction.
I recognized that name the moment I saw it. These words from his [fill in the blank] mouth are unforgettable (bold formatting is in the NewsBusters original):

She was the Republican nominee for the 2010 election and is running again for what is now an open seat as the incumbent retired rather than face her again. She leveled serious accusations of insider trading which he was obviously doing according to his financial records and he quit to avoid having to answer for it. She’s tough, smart and honest and sure has my vote, support and money.

Some elements of this information was know during his first run for the White House. The Press ignored the obviously inflammatory story of George Soros, Gerard Jones, Alinsky and Fox-Piven connections. What makes this time any different? Obama sat on a Board and shared an office with Bill Ayers but said they weren’t friends even though His Chicago campaign fund raisers took place at Ayers’ home.
Heck. A search of MSM editors would probably yield a trove of links back to Soros and Piven. They are all in the tank. Thank God for the Internet and brave souls like Beck.
I agree with the comment about our gene pool. Add our immigration policies, public education, and affirmative action to the list of culprits.
