The recent attacks against Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio are due in part to an attempt by the Obama administration to distract from the growing scandal of Fast and Furious. So says fellow Arizona Sheriff Paul Babeu.
The explosive charges come via a report from the Daily Caller – a website that has done remarkable work into unraveling the still growing scandal and coverup that is the Obama Fast and Furious gunrunning operation – a scandal that now has nearly 100 members of Congress declaring “No Confidence” in Obama Attorney General Eric Holder.
“The fact [that the Department of Justice] chose today to release their findings was only done to take the attention away from themselves,” Babeu said in a press release, according to Sonoran News. “Today marks the one year anniversary since the murder of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.”
Holder’s DOJ announced on December 15 that it “had reasonable cause to believe” Arpaio’s office was discriminating against Latinos.
It should be noted that Eric Holder’s DOJ faced allegations of racism from within its own department after a voting intimidation case was quicky and inexplicably dropped by Holder. Evidence uncovered found that the Holder Department of Justice sought only to prosecute cases that involved discrimination against minorities, and those involving White Americans were deemed secondary in concern.
According to Politico, the family of slain U.S. border agent Brian Terry had called for justice against all those responsible for Fast and Furious and the death of their son – including Obama administration officials. Within hours the Obama DOJ made public its allegations against Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, which then became the more prominent story in the subsequent news cycle.
Remember that Sheriff Arpaio has convened a posse to investigate questions of Obama’s eligibility and has said he will issue the posse’s report in February. I think the attacks against him are more about this. I hope he lives till February.
EXACTLY! With major politicians going after Holder, what do they care about Sheriff Joe doing so? Perhaps to send a message to other locals who to suppress prosecution prior to the election I suppose.
But Sheriff Joe himself said it was remarkable as easy as he is able to make news that NO media outlet picked up the posse news or the request to see the microfiche.

Arpaio and Babeau are American Heroes and we need more men like them in this world. I still believe however that nothing will be done about Holder or kenya boy and I hope I’m wrong, but I see no evidence to the contrary at all. It’s all a lot of hot air coming from Washington. None of them have the spine to do anything about it.
I’m looking forward to Arpaio’s investigation on kenya boy and the fake ssn and forged documents coming out in February. In the meantime I pray for his safety.
Let’s hope Sheriff Joe has copied Babeau and others in the event of their untimely demises. Even better, I hope they put out the word, nationally, that others are privy to and in possession of the info.
Sheriff Joe can prevent Obama from being on AZ ballot in 2012 if Obama can’t prove his citizenship~~they are trying to REMOVE this “little problem” before it snowballs~~Aiken you are right and I also hope Sheriff Joe lives till February~~
It is a shame that Obama administration is going after Sheriff Joe Arpaio who is trying to secure our border. It looks like obama does not care abut our security. Sheriff Joe Arpaio cares, he is real American hero. Holder, Obama should be ashamed of themselves.
