Last night saw yet again the Obama Department of Justice releasing hundreds of pages of Fast and Furious-related material just prior to next week’s scheduled hearing before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
One thing is rather interesting about these repeated document releases from within the DOJ – how can there be so many pages of material on an operation that to this day Obama Attorney General Eric Holder maintains he knew little to nothing about? Ponder that for just a moment.
Second, this more recent assortment of in-house emails being released appear to inextricably tie Eric Holder’s second-in-command at the Department of Justice – Lanny Breuer. It seems quite unlikely that someone as high ranking as Mr. Breuer would be so involved in something as potentially dangerous as the Fast and Furious gunrunning operation without including Attorney General Eric Holder.
And what then do we make of this explanation from the DOJ maintaining Holder’s alleged ignorance of the entire matter?
Also among the documents are Justice Department emails involving a former top aide to Attorney General Eric Holder. The emails show that then-deputy chief of staff Monty Wilkinson was notified by then-U.S. Attorney Dennis Burke the day after Terry was slain that guns found at the murder scene were connected to an investigation that Burke and Wilkinson had planned to discuss. The emails did not identify the investigation, but it was Operation Fast and Furious.
In a letter to the committee, the Justice Department said that Wilkinson does not recall a follow-up call with Burke and that Wilkinson does not recall discussing this aspect of the matter with the attorney general. According to the letter, the department has been advised that Burke has no recollection of discussing this aspect of the matter with Wilkinson.
Make no mistake – those two paragraphs indicate cover up. The question that now remains is whether or not members of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will be willing to push the investigation hard enough to prove that cover up – or simply let Eric Holder continue on in his role as the ultimate firewall for all the deceptions that exist within the Obama administration.
What possible strategic or political advantage would there be in allowing Holder to remain in power . . . rather . . . to remain in office?
Could a new, Zero-appointed successor be worse?
If he goes…so goes Barry’s firewall. “And all the king’s horses and all the king’s men [won't be able to] put Humpty together again.”
I think it’s telling that the most prolific document dumps occur right before key people are to appear before the committee. What are they thinking? No one is gonna spend the time to go over all those pages in such a short time? Are the hoping that someone will do a casual glance and not connect the dots? The arrogance in overlooking or failing to credit the opposition with intelligence and commitment to the investigation will be a contributing factor in bring down da house of Barry.
I still want to know: Why is it taking so long to get to the bottom line? It seems that the committee is dragging their feet. Maybe this is just a race between the tortoise and the hare and the outcome will be the same. I just hope it isn’t an indication of a fix…especially with this administration’s fondness for drugs and lies.
I’m still afraid Holder is going to get away with this and I just want oversight to get on with it and finish the job. I know that Judicial Watch has done a great deal of work on this (because I’m a member and I get their newsletters) and that has helped Issa and Chaffetz. I saw on Drudge that Issa’s talking tough again…said outright that the Dept of Jerks “has blood on their hands”…but Issa’s talked tough before and we’re STILL WAITING.
I think they’re trying to get the goods on as many as possible. Taking them all down at once. Seems like their finding more and more information in each hearing.. There’s so many involved in this cover up they want to get more and more of them. The three that were given promotions or at least that’s what it looked like even Issa mentioned it were finally fired. We all feel this goes to the very top as in WH and the info keeps leaning that way too. I wonder more and more WHY is there so many leaving “O’s” administration? In all my years I’ve never seen such a turnover in the government as this one has. And so high up. Are they leaving because of what they know and don’t want to get anymore involved or afraid of being prosecuted for what they do know.. Mmmmmm

Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) had a strong message Saturday for President Barack Obama, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz: “Get the hell out.”
West made the comments during a speech at a Palm Beach County GOP event in West Palm Beach.
“This is a battlefield that we must stand upon. And we need to let President Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and my dear friend, chairman of the Democrat National Committee, we need to let them know that Florida ain’t on the table,” West said.
The audience was booing by the time West got to Pelosi’s name.
“Take your message of equality of achievement, take your message of economic dependency, take your message of enslaving the entrepreneurial will and spirit of the American people somewhere else,” he continued. “You can take it to Europe, you can take it to the bottom of the sea, you can take it to the North Pole, but get the hell out of the United States of America.”
As the audience cheered and many rose to their feet, West added, “Yeah I said ‘hell.’”
“This is not about 1 percent or 99 percent. This is about 100 percent. It’s about 100 percent America. And I will not stand back and watch anyone defame, degrade or destroy that which my father fought for, my older brother, my father-in-law, myself, my nephew and all my friend still in uniform,” he said.
“I will not allow President Obama to take the United States of America and destroy it. If that means I’m the No. 1 target for the Democrat Party, all I got to say is one thing: Bring it on, baby.”

Fast and Furious was initially known as “Operation Direct Commerce”. Think about that…. They were selling those AK 47′s for cash with no intention whatsoever of tracing them or getting them back. This was to cause murder and mayhem in Mexico and in the USA in order to control the people of the USA through a change of our constitution and to destroy our constitutional gun rights ….this administration creates Chaos wherever they plan to change or “transform” our government or our constitution to their liking… “Never waste a crisis.”
The Marxists create chaos to achieve the “change” they want to impede freedoms, destroy liberty and excuse the rules they are putting in place. The Obama administration were also creating quite a secret kitty for their subrosa activities where untraceable funds have been necessary at least in the short term.
Take note Holder has put in place only minimum gun sales law (for now) at the border! The only problem with guns at our border was from Holder himself.
In light of the Justice Department’s Fast and Furious fiasco and the murder of of border agents…take Note…they are still moving forward on their agenda of gun control.
