Barack Obama’s New and Improved “Attack Watch”

Turn in your neighbors.  Turn in your friends.  So goes the Obama White House in 2012…

Barack Obama still wants to know who is saying bad things about him.

Last year’s Obama-funded Internet snitch patrol website Attack Watch was met with much deserved ridicule and criticism among even liberal supporters of the president.  It appears that less than favorable opinion of the website was not enough to make the administration reconsider its priorities – Attack Watch has returned with a new name – the slightly less aggressive “Truth Team”:

The Truth Team is a network of supporters of President Obama who are committed to responding to unfounded attacks and defending the President’s record. When you’re faced with someone who misrepresents the truth, you can find all the facts you need right here—along with ways to share the message with whoever needs to hear it.

Every time a baseless attack comes to light, we’ll arm you with the truth so you can spread the word.

One must wonder if supporters of Barack Obama are just as interested in the truth surrounding Fast and Furious, or Solyndra, or disagreements between his administration and the military, or the millions of taxpayer dollars used to fund the First Lady’s vacations, or the repeated broken promises of a balanced budget, accountability, and a unified political environment?

During the Nixon era Americans called such a president a paranoid control freak.

Now it appears we simply are to call it Hope and Change?

It’s your American duty to do so…

    • I heard two old women at the post office this morning discussing that they had heard our president likes to dress up in little girl’s clothes. I suppose I must inquire of this new site about the veracity of that terrible rumor. I regret that I was not able to get their names to forward to Miz Washerwoman-Schultz or Miss Nippletaneo for further action. I will do better next time.

    • First of all, I love the photo of Richard Milhaus Obama. :)

Then there is this from The Blaze, “Truth Teams will be announced in swing states like Iowa, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina and Wisconsin, with events being held in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio and Virginia.

National supporters for the organization include the National Education Association, Service Employees International Union, United Food and Commercial Workers International Union and the United Steelworkers Union.”

Anyone surprised that the unions are “supporters” of this scheme? All the usual suspects (including Leo Gerard’s USW) and I’m betting they are more than just “supporters”.

This is both disturbing and DISGUSTING!!!!!!!

    • Richard Nixon is the wrong parallel to draw. There was no Nixonian personality cult to fuel this kind of activity. Nixon didn’t turn the constitution on its ear with the full support of the news media and industry.

      Hitler did though.
