While her penchant for living the good life on the taxpayer’s dime has become something of a joke, there really is nothing funny about an individual so seemingly concerned with the ideals of financial equality who time and again proves herself willing to embrace a lifestyle reserved only for the super wealthy.
Michelle Obama has flown off to the winter playground of the wealthy and famous in Aspen Colorado to do a bit of skiing. ( While plenty of ski resorts can be found much closer to Washington D.C. on the East Coast, it appears those locations just don’t have the kind of upscale reputation the First Lady demands of her vacation locations. Now THIS vacation comes just a month after Mrs. Obama returned from her multi-million dollar 17-day winter vacation in Hawaii. And THAT vacation came just a few months after the Obama’s concluded another multi-million dollar vacation in Martha’s Vineyard. And THAT vacation came just a month after the First Lady returned from another multi-million dollar trip to Africa. (Without her husband)
Where are the Occupy protesters on these repeated examples of extravagant living being repeatedly put on display by the First Lady? A Daily Mail report estimated in August – before Michelle Obama’s more recent taxpayer funded outings, that her vacations have cost taxpayers $10 MILLION dollars. That total is likely much higher given the other vacations that have taken place since that report was initially published:
The First Lady is believed to have taken 42 days of holiday in the past year, including a $375,000 break in Spain and a four-day ski trip to Vail, Colorado, where she spent $2,000 a night on a suite at the Sebastian hotel.
And the first family’s nine-day stay in Martha’s Vineyard is also proving costly, with rental of the Blue Heron Farm property alone costing an estimated $50,000 a week.
The source continued: ‘Michelle also enjoys drinking expensive booze during her trips. She favours martinis with top-shelf vodka and has a taste for rich sparking wines.
‘The vacations are totally Michelle’s idea. She’s like a junkie. She can’t schedule enough getaways, and she lives from one to the next – all the while sticking it to hardworking Americans.’

This is not nearly as frustrating as the fact that they have no obvious concern over the re-election implications of this. They figure they have it made anyway. AND WHY IS THAT??

They figure they have it made because Obama and his comrades are very good at voter fraud and, also,very good at destroying competition. If you recall, Obama ran unopposed in, at least, the Illinois Senate election because his opponent dropped out when his messy divorce was revealed (through devious means, I believe). Not sure but I believe his rise to the Senate in DC was also accomplished in a similar manner.
It wasn’t that Obama ran unopposed (and it was for the US Senate, not the Illinois Senate) because his last-minute replacement Republican opponent was a complete joke – Alan Keyes.
Okay, I stand corrected. Got my facts a little backward — should have looked it up before posting — but Obama did run unopposed (by having his opponent invalidated) in the State Senate. The Jack Ryan divorce issue was in the race for US Senate. When Ryan withdrew from the race, Alan Keyes was Obama’s opponent.

These people, as with many of Generation X, and quickly approaching Generation ME, are the symptoms of our corrupted Liberal/Progressive educational systems including almost all forms of professional career establishments, most academia, and especially most news outlets either in print or television.
Is it any wonder why more and more people are turning to conservative radio and the internet for their news? And we all can see a full assault on those last remaining vestiges of freedom and critical thought.
But the truth of the matter is our side is winning and the long slumber is coming to an end. You see, evil always overplays their hand due to greed and arrogance, so to this time, but this time will be their undoing.

I think Barry sends his Moochie off so he can have the house to himself with the boys…. Talk about Entitlements! We paid out of our paychecks for social security and medicare. They can’t rationalize their entitlements with any credibility or substance. Welfare is one thing. Plundering the public coffers is another.

When I went was younger, not fiscally smart, and went off on a spending binge, my pap used to tell me to stop being “ni**er rich” and I never knew what he meant. Now I do and this is a good example of it.
