A brief heads up from a longtime D.C. political operative indicates “serious” discussions among high ranking members of Barack Obama’s re-election team on how to handle a possible Supreme Court ruling against Obamacare – discussions that include a “Healthcare Warfare” operation that will purposely create widespread chaos throughout the American healthcare industry – putting you and your loved ones at risk.
First few days of SC going well for us. Yesterday rocked them back. Today not as explosive but real panic setting in among the Obama people. Discussion last night with -Name Deleted - told me his contact at -Deleted- indicated administration is already putting up warnings regarding summer chaos plan if SC decision goes against them. Called it a “Healthcare Warfare” plan. Muck up the administrative machine so badly there will be delays, confusion, and then anger. They are serious about it.
Obama will then point to the chaos and make an “I told you so” move to the American people. They plan to have him run against Congress, run against the SC, run against alleged racism, run against Wall Street. He is running for nothing and against everything.
Wanted to let you know on the Healthcare Warfare thing. Help get the word out. Tell others to watch for signs of it unfolding if it looks like the SC is going to rule against Obamacare. Right now the mandate is about 80% gone. The rest of Obamacare is about 50/50 according to -Name Deleted- and he sat in on the pharma meetings with the administration so likely solid judgement on this.
So add healthcare riots to the race riots that are coming this summer.

I believe the primary issue the SCOTUS is looking at is the Constitutionality of the Individual Mandate. They are going to want to rule as “narrowly” as possible, and not wade into the weeds of specifics.
In other words, if the Mandate is found to be unconstitutional, the waivers/exemptions will be a moot issue – therefore, there is no reason to address them as an individual issue.
That being said, given that the Dems SPECIFICALLY took severability OUT of the bill before it was passed, if the mandate is found to be unconstitutional, then the whole thing should fall apart.
The mandate is the funding mechanism for this whole monstrosity – if it goes, there is no way to pay for all of the rest of the stuff in the bill. (Which is why they were trying to argue that the mandate is a tax on Day 1 of arguments)
It is a tax. Why else are they hiring 4,000 new Irs agents for this bill’s implementation?
Hello? SCOTUS? Keep it simple. It’s a tax. It’s not healthcare. It strips the constitution and kills it dead.
If we had any smart guys on our side in Congress, and the Supremes strike the entire thing down, I would trot out to the first mic available (hot or not) and tell the world how incompetent the 110th Congress was in preparing this monstrosity (that they NEVER read) and how obvious it was that they couldn’t pay for it, and couldn’t even get the language right in it! I don’t care how far you had to crawl, jump over whatever fence, or parachute in. It was obvious from the start that Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and President Obama could sell a ‘crap sandwich’ or even give it away!!
That is what I would do. Unfortunately we don’t have anyone with a set of brass you know what’s to do that!!

FWIW, I think its a forgone conclusion the mandate is dead. Kennedy has been pretty clear the last two days that this isnt something he intends on blessing. And if the mandate is dead, then so is the entire law.

That’s exactly it. If this goes down he’ll blame all chaos on the Republicans, possibly try to pass something even more etreme like single-payer and when that gets blocked will accuse the other side of “wanting to kill old, poor, and sick people”.
If the Republicans had a half a brain (and I’m starting to doubt that they’d do) they’d get out in front of this and have a viable free market plan ready to go, so that Obongo can’t accuse them of having nothing and permitting nothing through.
I don’t hold out hopes for that though. And if God forbid the Republican plan has perceived favors for drug and insurance companies in it that’s all the media will be spouting about.
The thing we’ve got to remember is that the Republicans don’t move unless the grassroots pressures them. Remember how fast they started saying they were Tea Party this and that when we were the ones who got out and rallied against Health Care and Obama in the first place. They were virtually begging to speak at events and we told them “hell no!” Leaders in the Tea Parties need to get into the real game and it’s not the primary anymore. Obama’s the real threat, not Romney – who actually likes America/Americans. We have limited time and resources and we need to use them to our advantage. Destroying Romney isn’t to our advantage when Obama’s the real threat.

That is no surprise to me: democrats’ intent is to redistribute income (EXCEPT FROM THEIR ELITE LEADERS)because they believe unequal outcomes is the result of either luck or exploitation. Therefore, redistribution – by destruction of the system if necessary – becomes a moral imperative and democrat operatives, therefore can justify any tactics they use on moral grounds, in their mind.

Hansen calls them) – when the act politically – are really acting against their own long term self interest. This strategy, namely gum up the health care administrative works, is complete panic-stricken short-sightedness (which should give us all a lift) and lacks a fundamental understanding of the American people. I’ve worked on many pol campaigns over the past 30 years and if the Obama team is truly planning this, and not just what-iffing, they are in desperate straights, and finished.
Voters will blame the President, and no one else, for health care chaos, assuming it unfolds in time for the election – just look at the gas price polling. Health care is now an albatross around Obama’s neck and, as all other failings of his administration, the buck will stop with the incumbant.

So the Obama campaign’s goal will be to create healthcare chaos. The ONLY way that works to their advantage is if they can blame it on the opposing side, so that’s going to be the narrative that we have to watch out for.
Look what they did with the religious freedom/forced provision of birth control and abortifacients. And consider how far in advance it was framed. MONTHS before this topic came up for debate, George Stephanopoulos brought up the question in a Republican Presidential debate about birth control and states having the right to ban it. That question came out of NOWHERE. It confused everyone, and we all missed the most important aspect of it:
That question FRAMED the debate in the way the Obama administration wanted it framed. It was the clue that they were going to turn the religious mandate in healthcare into an issue about birth control and that they were going to make our candidates look like crazed whackos who wanted to send women back to the 50s.
It worked, sadly. Still, many people think that entire issue was about republicans trying to take away birth control from women. They are sadly misinformed and believe the captions they hear in the MSM.
We have to look at the tactics and process of creating the chaos and blaming it on someone else.
