Barack Obama’s REAL Views On Religion Captured On Video – Government is Greater than God

Though not new to some who have been paying attention to Barack Obama since he began running for president in 2007, this video from 2006 may stun those not yet aware of its existence, showing Senator Barack Obama dismissing America’s Christian heritage, mocking passages of the Bible, condemning the United States Defense Department, calling for “universal” values over “religion specific” values, and indicating the United States is not a nation under God – and in fact indicates the will of government is superior to the those of God. The public Barack Obama of 2012 is not the real Barack Obama – the REAL Barack Obama is the one speaking here in this video – a radical universalist, both dismissive and angry over the concept of a Christian values based United States of America.

    • Didn’t know about this video but did know about his views from an interview he gave when running for Senator in 2004 that I’ve been posting for a long time:

“The most detailed and fascinating explanation of .Obama’s faith came in a 2004 interview he gave Chicago Sun-Times columnist Cathleen Falsani when he was running for U.S. Senate in Illinois

      OBAMA:
….This is something that I’m sure I’d have serious debates with my fellow Christians about. I think that the difficult thing about any religion, including Christianity, is that at some level there is a call to evangelize and prostelytize. There’s the belief, certainly in some quarters, that people haven’t embraced Jesus Christ as their personal savior that they’re going to hell.

      FALSANI:
      You don’t believe that?

      OBAMA:
I find it hard to believe that my God would consign four-fifths of the world to hell.

I can’t imagine that my God would allow some little Hindu kid in India who never interacts with the Christian faith to somehow burn for all eternity.

That’s just not part of my religious makeup.”

He showed contempt for the “too narrow, non-compassionate”, etc. views of Christians — even though he was labeling himself “Christian”.

      • I’m not seeing what’s so awful about that statement. It’s the same view I hold to, too. People are welcome to believe that ‘sin’ can somehow be inherited if they want, but it’s offensive for them to declare others are in some way damned if they don’t go along with their own beliefs.

That sort of perspective makes them no better than Jihadists. Just of a different religion.

        • RE: “but it’s offensive for them to declare others are in some way damned if they don’t go along with their own beliefs”. Why is it “offensive” for someone to say something that you believe is false? Why do you care if some person whom you disagree with thinks you are going to hell?

          • Xeno
          • I find it offensive when one group of people declare another is in some way damned or literally hated by their spiritual creator, because that’s what it is. Offensive. It’s not someone personally keeping ideas to themselves. It’s someone who’s basically decreeing how others should live their lives in a situation where everyone involved is consenting and no harm is involved.

I find it offensive when this happens, for the same reason as I find it offensive with some self-proclaimed Islamic ‘scholar’ starts ranting on about how women who don’t cover themselves up completely should be stoned to death or how listening to music means you are destined for hell. If you think that way, fine, you’re entitled to. But others are just as entitled to feel it’s offensive and think you’re wrong – and you certainly don’t have the right to call for Shariah Law to be implemented.

    • Am I wrong or right? Didn’t WHI state once or twice Obama is not a Muslim nor is he a Christian; but he is in fact athiest?

    • Kay112
    • That video is proof he is ignorant to the Bible. Because the Bible states some radical things, one must place all in context and reconcile all too. The Bible is apparently too deep for Obama and his sheeple.

      What a dufus ding-bat!

      • Barry has been quite prolific in taking statements and ideas out of context. I saw on a wikipedia site that his religion is ‘Christian Liberation Theology’. However his bio wiki page lists him as Christian. Whatever his religious or non-religious beliefs may be, it is abundantly clear to me he is a Destructive Narcisstic Personality, a cerified diagnosis in the DSM of Mental Disorders.

    • This is from a post by Sagman, at Lucianne.com, from an article titled: Obama’s New Slogan: Get My Back.

      Introduction by the author:

Thought I’d attempt a creative exercise on the subject of Obama the demagogue rallying troops to his cause. Remember Longfellow’s celebrated (and lengthy) “Song of Hiawatha” from your schooldays? Here’s an abbreviated parody.

      SONG OF DEMAGOGIA

      Introduction

From the mansion near the river
      Where the Sage of Monticello
      And the Great Emancipator
Served the people, saved the nation,
Sounds a call for civil discord
      In the service of ambition
From a man whose God is power
      And his name is Demagogia/

      Gathering Storm

To the banner flock his minions:
      Come the Teamsters, the Acornas
Come the NOWsers and the OWSers,
Come the KOSkids, and the Panthers
      All the factions so enchanted
By the whimsies of the Leader
Who wants naught but boundless warrant
      Constitution notwighstanding.

      Marching Orders

      Demagogia tells his vassals]
That the one arrayed against him
      Is unworthy, quite ignoble
And must not be given quarter
      When the battle is enjoined
“Lay aside all thoughts of mercy:

    • …continued…

“Lay aside all thoughts of mercy:
Smear his people, smear their children,
Plough and salt the ground they walk on.”

      Engagement

In the cities, in the hamlets,
      Over airwaves, on the Worldwide,
      Campaigns combat, hot and savage,
      Demagogia at the forefront,
So much riding on the outcome,
      Which determines if his tenure
Is a dream cut short by waking.
      Or a nightmare neverending.

      Foreboding

      In November, morning after,
      Demagogia stands defeated,
Burning at the loss he’s suffered,
Casts a baleful eye about him,
      Smiles grimly, mutters darkly:
“Now I leave, but not forever.
      Like the Phoenix rising, rising
From the flamepit, from the ashes…”

    • Name Noah
    • Umm how many miracles has Government pulled off? We can’t even get a budget or real birth record out of our celestial leader.

I know all my Christian friends think Government under obama is god like but more underworld evil then heavenly.

    • Ulsterman, have you seen this Wall Street Journal report?

Barack Obama attempts to intimidate contributors to Mitt Romney’s campaign.

      . . .

The message from the man who controls the Justice Department (which can indict you), the SEC (which can fine you), and the IRS (which can audit you), is clear: You made a mistake donating that money.

If that report was about anybody but Obama, I would find it difficult to believe.  I hope WSI and WHI know about it.

“If the White House isn’t worried about the public seeing another side of President Obama, why is it trying to reinforce the image of him as a post-racial, pro-American moderate with a slick new Hollywood-produced 17-minute documentary?

The videotape of Obama praising and hugging his America-bashing, Constitution-trashing law professor Derrick Bell isn’t the only evidence that’s been hidden from the public. A 1998 video of Obama praising the late Marxist agitator Saul “The Red” Alinsky alongside a panel of hard-core Chicago communists also exists. Yet it, too, has been withheld.

So has a 2003 video of Obama speaking at a Chicago dinner held in honor of former PLO spokesman Rashid Khalidi. Anger at Israel and U.S. foreign policy were expressed during the private banquet.

Why have Obama’s remarks and actions during the controversial event been suppressed? Perhaps it’s because the radical Khalidi — a close friend and neighbor of Obama, who held a 2000 political fundraiser in his home for him — has strongly defended the use of violence by Palestinians against Israel, while expressing clearly anti-American views.

If there’s nothing to hide, why keep these tapes under wraps? Why not release them?

    • ThroughTheLookingGlass
    • If there was nothing to hide, Barry wouldn’t be spending so much money on lawyers to cover his ignoble past. From the looks of his defense actions in court, lawyers are the only area of employed workers that have seen a spike in the numbers. His cabal of laywers and thugs working on his payroll skews the employment numbers quarterly! Do lawyers have a union?
