Sent to us from readers over at Legal Insurrection – some great shots of masses of people waiting to get inside a Romney-Ryan rally today. There is a conservative giant that has been awakened in America – and it is calmly and respectfully preparing to make Barack Obama a ONE and DONE president…

And some comments from some who attended the rally in South Carolina:
_______
You know what is really amazing?
Support for Ryan’s budget proposals is actually strong among seniors.
It is almost like people used to learn simple math in school.
________
Yep. I’m one. I long ago determined that one legacy I could leave my kids and grandchildren is to do all I could to fix the mess created by nearly a hundred years of flirting with Collectivism.
For me, the day will not come when I take any benefit under the Medic-whatevers or Social Insecurity.
_________
Loving the “holy-moly” description! Wishing I could be there. A beautiful day in America. Hope is being restored for so many of us.
_________
Obama, meet sleeping giant.
_________

Quite a contrast to barky speaking before half-filled venues and busing people in to make up for the gap.
The message is out; Americans now get it. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue to spread the word.
After nearly four years of being depressed, I see some hope; REAL hope!
From your lips to God’s ear, SueK !!!
Love the photos of the many people waiting in line to see Romney/Ryan! I’m also quite sure that if a member of the press wanted to interview those standing in line, they would certainly be allowed to do so.
This is in stark contrast apparently to those waiting in line to see Michelle Antoinette recently. Heck, they wouldn’t even let an NPR reporter interview the small number of folks waiting to get into a venue, and dispatched their campaign thugs to keep him away from them! Very disturbing, but seems par for the course for the Obama campaign, even to the point that their thugs tell the reporter, paraphrased, ‘you know how this is done’… http://www.newsworks.org/index.php/off-mic/item/42734
This is unbelievable, and I wish it was known far and wide the tactics that Obama is using to control their narrative, even to the extreme of not allowing their own supporters to speak to the press at their own event!
Excuse me, if these pictures are supposedly of a political event, they are in error.
Where are the noisy, sloppily dressed individuals of questionable hygiene? Where are the clumsy, badly spelled, inflamatory signs on torn cardboard stapled to broom handles? Where are the scuffles with police? Where are the lib media photographing the arrests?
What I see is a large crowd of well-behaved, neatly dressed people waiting politely in an orderly column while police stand idly by, chatting with each other.
See, told you it wasn’t a political gathering. /s
You forgot the pooping on police cars, Mustang . . . .
EXCELLENT OBSERVATION,Mustang!
I pray for our Country. I will support these two but will hold their feet to the fire… I am still angry how Romney weaseled and undermined Sara Palin in 2008. Then Ryan’s disturbing votes supporting NDAA, TARP, Auto Bailout, refused oversight of TARP.
Yes, I pray for their success and ours, but I also know euphoria sometimes brings veils that blinds us from the truth. Case in point, Obama enthusiasts and their undying support of him and his wars, even though they hated Bush for Iraq and Afghanistan.
Let us support them (Romney and Ryan) with our eyes wide open so as to question their decisions when warranted and to question with boldness demanding that they adhere to the first principles and ideals of the conservative movement. Only then will we get true reform and representatives who represent the will of their constituents.
Give it a rest Percep. You’ve raised this concern over the last 3 Ulsterman posts. Let’s get them in office before you start with the nay-saying memes. It underlines the platform and paints you as an oppositionist. Highlighting the negativity this early in the game puts that negative energy where it doesn’t belong. There is enough negativity coming from Barry & his band of Thugs.
Eyes wide open dear… Eyes wide open… I am not really swayed by rhetoric, slick politicians and fanciful promises. We didn’t to where we are because we were truthful to ourselves, we got to where we’re at by following blindly our leaders, George W. Bush included.
My voice is to restore the future instead of repeating the past.
Believe me, I’m there if Mitt can retrieve us from the abyss. Remember, We’ve been here before.
You said, “Then Ryan’s disturbing votes supporting NDAA, TARP, Auto Bailout, refused oversight of TARP.”
Do you have documented proof of these allegaions or are you just a gullible Liberal taken in by the Marxist propaganda? Since you seem to use it often it sounds like well rehersed talking points.
Jesus Christ.. Use Google, American Patriot. Percep isn’t making this up. If you care about Liberty, how can you NOT be disturbed by Ryan’s votes on these issues? Percep has already said he’s going to vote Romney/Ryan..I’ll be doing the same. But this kind of attitude, turning a blind eye to bad things done by “our guy” is part of the reason we’re in this mess in the first place.
Percep, correct me if I’m wrong, but at no time have I ever interpreted your posts about this as you trying to convince people to not vote for Romney/Ryan.. But rather advise them on Ryan’s past and that once we’ve kicked Obama’s sorry ass out of office, we NEED to hold Romney/Ryan accountable on issues of personal liberty and civil rights.
“It underlines the platform and paints you as an oppositionist.”
Our allegiance is to the Constitution and to God. Not the Republican party. I believe that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are good men. That being said, they’re also politicians. That means they’re vulnerable to pressures and temptations that very few can ignore. Let’s not be naive. More importantly, we’ve watched Democrats who supposedly are champions of civil liberties turn a blind eye towards the COMMUNIST that they elected as he has systematically dismantled the constitution and our civil liberties. Quite frankly, we as conservatives are better than that.
We’re conservatives because we’ve studied history. We’re conservatives because we believe in working hard, taking care of our families and taking responsibility for our own destiny. We live by a strong set of beliefs and values that not many politicians, even the ones on our side can live up to.
We’re better than the Democrats because of the above reasons and we’re better because we can rise above party politics. Yes, almost everyone here, myself included, votes Republican regularly. Their rhetoric matches what we believe in and some of the time, they even do what we put them in office to do. But a lot of the time they don’t and there is nothing oppositionist about encouraging people to vote with both eyes open and to hold Romney and Ryan accountable. Holding your morals and values above parry politics is the very definition of Patriotism AND Conservatism.
We’ve all heard so much bad news for the last four years.. We’ve had our beliefs and values spit on by our President and by his followers. We want, even NEED some good news. The last thing anyone wants to hear is a message of caution when it finally feels like we have something to feel excited about. But Perceptible is right. Those votes by Ryan are not conservative votes. They’re troubling. They are what they are.
But the reality is that if we stick together, we can be excited about kicking Obama’s sorry ass out of office AND making sure that Romney and Ryan adhere to conservative values for the next eight (yes, I said eight) years. We don’t need politicians to be excited. We have the right ideas and values for the country to succeed again. The other side DOESN’T. Personally, that’s plenty exciting for me.
Thank you RyanMN,you are absolutely correct. Look, first off I LOVE this Country, I’ve given blood and treasure in defending her. I come from a very long line of patriots. My ancestor is Cristobal Colon, or known in English as Christopher Columbus. Our family settled in New Mexico/Arizona in 1546. My great-great Uncle was the last Alcalde (Governor) of New Mexico in 1846.
My family has 565 years here in America. I love it here…
My wife’s family goes back to one of the original signers of the Declaration of Independence, Aurthur Middleton.
My family was here long before this Country existed and will be long after. I just do not want to see us lose sight of where we’re at right now.
We ALL want us to succeed as a nation, and as individuals, but the only way we’re going to help solve our problems is by being truthful with ourselves and holding each other accountable. Not by grabbing the biggest Pom-Poms and cheer-leading for someone who hasn’t proven themselves yet.
Forget it, guys. You’re arguing with Ron/Rand Paul supporters. There are only three kinds of Paul supporters: those who are ignorant, those who are malevolent, and those who are both.
You’ll never change their drug-addled minds.
Getting really, really old, E.A.B. Almost everyone in this community offers something of value when they post, even when it’s dissent. Perhaps take a lesson from them and do the same.
Your problem is that you have no capacity to recognize how much there is that you don’t know. It’s a shame you can’t spend one day shadowing me at my job, looking at the same files and information that I’m looking at. If you were able to extract your head from the dark cavern where it resides and look at the information, within a day you’d be singing a radically different tune.
But I digress.
The real reason I’m responding to you is the tone your posts have been taking over the past couple of weeks. You started by crucifying all Libertarians and anyone supporting any kind of Libertarian ideal. You frequently note Russian intelligence as corroborating information to attack Paul supporters. You’ve moved on to attacking the Paul Ryan pick and now most interestingly, in one of the other threads, you’ve talked about how the Tea Party is a losing battlefront against Obama this fall. This seems like an inexplicable statement for a Republican to make considering the Tea Party is responsible for revitalizing a message of conservative values, restrained federal spending and limiting the reach of the government.
If I was the suspicious type, I’d say your comments over the last few weeks paint a very disturbing picture. There seems to be an awful lot of red paint in that picture.
I follow the old adage: Support the most conservative candidate who can win. As follows:
1. Ron/Rand Paul and his Libertarian ilk aren’t conservative or Constitutionalist.
2. I am seriously concerned that Romney has irreperably destroyed his chances of winning by choosing Paul Ryan for VP. I hope to be proven wrong.
3. The Tea Party has only about a 50/50 track record of picking winners, which, for me, doesn’t inspire a whole lot of confidence. Moreover, the Tea Party is still in the midst of fending off infiltration by unconservative Libertarian outsiders. History’s verdict on the Tea Party movement has yet to be written.
In response to rational points such as these, your only tactic has been to revert back to the characteristic Libertarian/Ronulan paranoia.
Take off your blinders, man.
Meanwhile, local Roanoke, Virginia “news” stations are pumping Biden’s visit with “news” about how to get tickets for his visit! Woweeee! (That should provide all the excitement of the kiss-in.)
These same “newspeople” tried pimping – er, pumping – Obama’s speech in Roanoke, complete with faked lines with paid participants and other losers, waiting to see the Worst President in US history. That was the location of the revealing “you didn’t build that” speech. Of course, some might have been there because it possibly could have counted as a job search.
Obama, meet Chik-Fil-A. Those lines you see aren’t on a mirror this time.
“Obama meet chik-fil-a”!
That a good one. Love it.
Wow look at all those terrorists~~
lmao!!!,,that’s right,,,we’re -(God loving, Gun-Toting,Conservatives)the Terrorists now…lolol
Moo-shel insulted Kate Windsor, the future Queen, by her attitude, tone of voice, manner, $7,000. top. Was this gaffe reported in the media?
Moreover, BO had a fundraiser in Chicago. He wanted to charge $51. for entry. The place was over 1/2 EMPTY.
See Paul Ryan’s video on YouTube slamming BO & Biden at the White House Summit in September ’09. Keep your eye on BO’s face – it tells all-BO’s contempt, hatred, boredom, fear. U see the bile rise in BO’s throat. Biden was bored, of course. http://youtu.be/zPxMZiWd
Waukesha Wisc ralley expected 2000 people…The Secret Service had logged in almost 20,000 by 5 o’clock …at least 25,000 people …who loved their country showed up

Another little problem to interfere with Dear Leader’s sweet dreams:
“House oversight committee chairman Rep. Darrell Issa is expected to file a civil contempt of Congress lawsuit Monday against Eric Holder, in the hope that a federal judge will force the U.S. Attorney General to turn over documents related to the Operation Fast and Furious scandal.”

Obama Birthday Party BUST – Pics Show Empty Room . . . (post alongside the Wisconsin rally per ATB’s Blaze link above, for the full effect)

I am told that Prince William County, VA (where the rally in Manassas was held on Saturday) is one of the toughest battle ground areas of the state. Knowing that over 8,000 showed up tells me the word “battleground” is in the process of being redevined.
Both Northern VA and Norfolk are heavily populated with Department of Defense and military members. Between sequestration and the current law suit against the military vote seems to be that defining moment.
That’s very good to see.
