Fifty Shades Of Grey – Pedophilia Hiding In Plain Sight (Letter from a reader)

NOTE:  This message was left on on unrelated political story on my site.  My first instinct was to simply delete it.  As I read further though it became apparent the author is being very sincere in what she is communicating here.  I also, like many of you, continue to be outraged by the sickening Jerry Sandusky tragedy.  While I am not nearly so familiar with the story 50 Shades of Grey beyond the apparent fact it’s very popular among women, the author of this message details a compelling case for something far more dangerous and sinister going on with a book that has been embraced by the mainstream.  I won’t make any judgments as to the validity of this author’s claims quite yet.  Perhaps those of you more familiar with the book, who can corroborate or dispute the evidence, can do so on your own in the comments section.  If what Kat says is right though, what does that say of our society that so many so willingly embraced a story of pedophilia that, as she has put it, was “hiding in plain sight”.

(People like Jerry Sandusky are viewed with hatred, revulsion, and disgust.  Rightfully so.  What mother would want to condone anything having to do with the sexual abuse of children?  Of innocents?  But that is exactly what 50 Shades of Grey is really about.)

UM,  Way off topic here but I thought I could post something that is really sickening to me in a forum that I know gets a lot of readers.  If you want to remove it I totally understand. It is a letter I wrote to society I guess on the subject of pedophilia and a warning that a whole lot of us are being in a way I guess, abused by something that has become very popular.

50 Shades of Grey – Pedophilia Hiding In Plain Sight

The story of convicted child rapist Jerry Sandusky is well known.  So too is the 50 Shades of Grey phenomena, a book that has become so popular among women that some are referring to it as “Mommy Porn” for the masses.  That description is actually a lot more disturbing than a lot of folks are currently realizing.

Yes, 50 Shades is pornography. Like most pornography, the storyline is weak, the characters one-dimensional, while the sex itself graphic, detailed, but formulaic.  The underlying theme to 50 Shades is something far more sinister and appalling though than your mere run-of-the-mill porn.  It is pedophilia.  It is child porn.  Kiddie porn.

Now I know after saying that, many female fans of 50 Shades, many of them mothers, will naturally put up a defense against that kind of description.  These women, being mothers, are naturally wired to protect kids.  People like Jerry Sandusky are viewed with hatred, revulsion, and disgust.  Rightfully so.  What mother would want to condone anything having to do with the sexual abuse of children?  Of innocents?

But that is exactly what 50 Shades of Grey is really about.  It is a story of a girl being sexually molested, over and over again, by a male figure with all the power, all the control.  It is the classic abuse scenario.  And mothers are, in some cases, quite literally getting off on it, which takes the disgust of this phenomena to a whole other frightening level.

So having put that out there, and I hope I haven’t lost any of you just yet.  I owe you an explanation after having made that kind of accusation about a book some of you may be reading right now.  I’ll start with a bit of background first.

My professional experience centers around nearly 20 years with Child Protective Services.  Over that time, I’ve seen situations that do, literally, keep me up at night.  The amount of abuse that is going on in our society, that sexualization of our kids…well basically, what you hear about, what is reported in the news, that is only a small sample of just how large of a problem and the disgusting acts that are going on every day.  Kids are being raped.  Kids are being abused.  Every single day.  Over and over and over again.

I didn’t seek out 50 Shades of Grey.  It was brought to my attention by a longtime friend who is also a clinical psychologist at a university.  She’s a bit older than me.  She grew up in the counter culture era and did her fair share of experimentation of all kinds.  So she’s hardly a prude.  What she today though is a mother and grandmother.  And she’s smart.  One of the things that fascinates her is this age of cultural phenomena.  How due to technology things now spread so quickly throughout society and become the next big thing at an increasingly rapid pace.  She says sometimes this phenomena is pretty much harmless, and other times it can be very damaging to kids and or adults who begin to emulate something out of a need to belong to the “next big thing”.

Her reaction to 50 Shades of Grey though was much more aggressively negative than anything I could recall her talking about before.  It came up because I mentioned it to her offhand.  I had seen a couple mentions of it on the news and knowing her interest in cultural trends, asked her about it.  She stopped talking, looked right at me, and said the book was about pedophilia.   And it was her who then connected it to the Sandusky tragedy where so many young boys had been sexually abused. Sandusky committed his acts of crime under the cover of actually helping youth.  That is how he gained access.  My friend said 50 Shades was basically the same exact thing.  Its cover was a story of a young woman engaging is a very graphic sexual relationship with a somewhat older man.

The problem for her, and it was a BIG PROBLEM, was that the narrator in the story, was in fact, an underage girl.  My friend indicated, based on the use of language in the narration, that this girl was likely no more than 12 or 13 years of age.  I made mention that the girl in the story was actually getting ready to graduate college.  My friend, a woman with years of experience as a clinical psychologist, whose expertise I had personally witnessed a number of times over the years, shook her head and told me that she would not be able to convince me by simply talking about it.  She said I should read the book myself, but do so with the eyes of somebody whose job it had been for many years to try and protect children.  As someone who has seen over and over the signs of abuse, and the damages of abuse.   Because there are always warning signs.  I know that.  How many times have I heard people horrified in saying “I can’t believe I didn’t see that”  “How couldn’t I have known?”  Or even worse, “I knew something wasn’t right but I didn’t want to believe they were capable of doing something like that.”

I’ll try and summarize my friend’s words at this point as best I can.

“Sexual predators are cons.  They almost always have a cover.  It’s that cover which allows them access.  50 Shades of Grey is a con.  It now has access to millions of readers.  It is a story about abuse from beginning to end.  And it’s not just the abuse of a man and a woman – it’s the abuse of a man and a girl.

When you read it, look for the signs.  They are all there.

The female character has no sexual experience.  None.  She is given the age of 21, but that age is itself a cover.  Her true emotional age is much-much younger.  She has never even masturbated.  She has never even experienced an orgasm.  That alone is one of the greatest attractions to the pedophile.  That is the psychology of that kind of act.  You get off on taking purity.

But move from the fact the girl has no sexual experience whatsoever.  Now pay attention to her narrative dialogue.  Really listen to how she talks.  Again, she’s not talking like a young woman, she’s talking like a girl.  She talks about cartwheels, and skipping, over and over again it is the language and the imagery of a girl.

After that this girl has her innocence taken from her.  The abuser, the older man, makes her think its her choice.  Again, you and I both know that is one of the primary tools of the pedophile.  They create an environment where the child feels it’s their idea.  It’s what they want. But what happens after that innocence is taken away?  Then the abuser becomes more openly abusive. Controlling.  In this story he tells the little girl how to speak.  What to wear.  What to eat.  He is Daddy and she is daughter.  When you read it read it like a mother who is also a woman who is experienced with the real life tragedy of abuse.

And there is many more themes about that abuse in this book.  There is spanking and the use of Baby oil.  Why baby oil?  Think about it.  The girl wears pigtails.  She complains that he is treating her like a child.  He says she acts like a child.  There is even a scene where the abuser creates a situation to take her innocence from her again.  He rips out her tampon and engages in forceful sex yet again.  Her hymen is ripped, and the bloody remnants of it are again symbolized in an act of pedophile rape.”

She went on to say there are women now defending the book, and she understands that, but it concerns her.  A great deal, because she is absolutely convinced the book is purposely advocating the raping of a child and attempting to normalize that atrocity.

So, I left that conversation thinking maybe my friend was exaggerating.  I had a hard time believing something so popular could actually have such a sinister and revolting theme, and while I respected her expertise and experience, thought this time she had to be seeing something that just wasn’t there.

I got the book, I sat down, and I read it.

The first thing that struck me was how poor the writing was.  It wasn’t just bad.  It was horrible.  But horrible writing is no crime, (thank goodness or I would have been put away a long time ago) and it doesn’t make the content of the story evil.  But in my reading of it, just like my friend said, the theme of child abuse, of pedophilia, was right there in plain sight.  I remember being told a long time ago that sometimes the best way to hide something is in plain sight.  That is what 50 Shades of Grey is really doing.

The main character had no sexual experience.  None.  She was an innocent.  She was a kid who had just had her first drink of alcohol.  No way that was an accident by the author.  That author had to have purposely made her, despite her given age of 21, by any other measure, a little girl.  At that point, it struck me as odd.  In my business, we call that a warning signal. A sign we may have a problem.

From there, just like my friend had warned, it got worse.  Much worse.  And she was right, her telling me about it did not have the impact of me reading it myself with eyes open.  She had given me the signs to look for, and as I turned the pages, those signs confirmed it over and over again.

The narration, which is the voice of the girl talking to the reader, was the voice of a little girl.  It’s unmistakable.  There is very little emotional maturity and absolutely no sexual maturity.  She is seduced by this man in the very same way a pedophile seduces a child.  The male character is Gerry Sandusky.  He makes a show of his money, his power, the things he can buy for her, but while this is going on, we are reading the thoughts of a child.  We are reading the seduction of a little girl by a pedophile.  She is almost completely powerless.  She is naïve even for a teenager, and certainly much much more naïve than a college student.  She is incapable of even making the most simple of every day decisions and must be told what to do by her abuser, who in turn though spends a lot of time and effort convincing this child this is really what she wants.  I’ve seen this before.  Too often.  Too many times.  And it always leaves me sickened.

We are reading child pornography.  Remove the false age of the girl, which has no basis in reality, and what we are actually reading is the abuse of a little girl.

The main character is described in pigtails, given words like “Holy Cow”  “down there”, “jeez”  “double crap” she can’t operate a computer (but is supposedly a college graduate), describes skipping and doing cartwheels, repeatedly says she is made to feel like a child, has her imaginary friend (inner goddess) feels shame, is spanked and slathered in BABY OIL, told what to say, what to eat, what to do, until finally and sadly so predictably, is physically beaten.  (But she returns to him soon after, which is again, a very common theme of abuse, including pedophilia)

And beyond all of this evidence there is the fact that the male character is himself a product of sexual abuse at the hands of a pedophile.  The girl whose thoughts we listen in on as she is being abused, recognizes this aspect of the male abuser, but apparently, is too naïve or unwilling to realize she has continued this cycle of abuse herself. (Which again reinforces the idea that she is actually herself just a child)  There is no way the author did this by accident.  She puts out the theme of pedophilia openly, therefore hiding it in plain sight.

People who have had to deal with the real world of sexual abuse of children will understand this perhaps more easily than others.  How the pedophile is so often themselves victims of earlier abuse.  They enter society, they become fathers or mothers, but so often they too become abusive.  They seek out dominance, control, and the taking of innocence just as it was taken from them.  Those who were once abused, become the abuser.  It is the sad sick and tragic cycle of pedophilia.

With 50 Shades of Grey this abnormal condition is trying to be normalized.  Thanks to the insight of my friend, and my own experience,  I know it for what it truly is – a story of the sexual abuse of child, wrapped in the cliché cover story of a mysterious and troubled wealthy man.  That is another thing my clinical psychologist friend pointed out later.  Take away the aspect of money, and the character of the abuser becomes much less attractive and therefore it would have been much more difficult to pull of the deception.  Are women actually that shallow?  Yes, we can be.

But women, the vast majority of us, are not people who knowingly condone the sexual abuse of children.  We do not condone in any way, the horror that is pedophilia.

Sadly though, that is exactly what is happening with the popularity of 50 Shades of Grey.  It’s a pedophilia con.

It is one of the most horrible and sickening acts against the most powerless of our society, hiding in plain sight.

Maybe my friend put it best when we talked all of this over.  50 Shades of Grey didn’t excite her.  She didn’t find it interesting, sexy, or romantic.

50 Shades of Grey made her weep.  It made her sick.  It made her think of the abuses of all of those kids by a demented, warped monster like Jerry Sandusky, who, just like the pedophilia of 50 Shades of Grey, was hiding in plain sight.

          • But it’s all part of making it “normal” so all will accept it. It eventually hardens you….just like old TV shows that didn’t ever reveal skin or allow certain PDAs, what you see now has become perfectly acceptable to many.

            • Haven’t read 50 shades …..but perfectly named as the left wants nothing moral viewed as black and white, or in absolutes as in absolutely wrong. Situation Ethics…the new morality…proportionism becomes an ethical excuse and the downward slide against the absolutes of Christianity.
Imagine what fills the mind of Barack Obama, whose mentor was Frank Marshall Davis, an avowed pedophile and pornographer …and if the research of many of Obama’s biographers is to be believed…also his abuser….It is stunning to consider the president, the man who sits in the oval office had as his mentor a
a pederist who lauded NAMBLA…a communist whose entire belief system was antithetical to everything most Americans believe…

thanks for the review. I’ll be sure to pass it by.

            • Everything being done to our culture is done to destroy it, from the removal of religion from the public square to “modern art”. The debasement of society, destruction of the family and other traditional values (gay marriage) are all part of a grand scheme to make the state and government the end-all and be-all of society. Nothing must survive to compete with it. Read “1984″, sex is just a perfunctory act, no love, no intimacy, just animal baseness. It is all part of their plan…

            • The emotional development of narcissists is usually described to be around 12 or 13 no matter the actual age….that analysis/diagnosis has been made re: Obama. And there is the suspicion that he too, by his own “fictional” description, was sexually abused by his so called “mentor”, radical porn writer Davis!! Ties in too with his alleged (via WHI) addiction to the personal power of his use of drones which shows another complete divorce of connecting emotionally with reality! Narcissists have had some physical or existential reason for having their thinking connected to their arrested emotional/psychological maturity. They must continue to somehow rationalize such behavior or the real “cure” of having to deal with their personal reality becomes too scary to them to handle.

      • I think that you have this quite wrong to call it soap opera. There are situations where young girls are being abused like this on a very regular basis, but in their country it is quite legal to do this.

The abuse itself is very real and many of the girls do not survive what has taken place.

That abuse happens in Pakistan, India, Yemen and other similar countries.

However, sexual abuse of young girls is nothing new. Lolita was the story of a 13 year old girl who did the seducing… but who seduced her in the first place?

    • You know what? My sister mentioned this book to me. Said she couldn’t finish it. I asked why. She said “too creepy” and just dropped it. Now I know why. How in the hell something this sick become so popular? Society is messed up.

      • I think it might be valuable for some of you who have read the book to put your comments in the “rating” section on Maybe your comments would prevent some from buying the book. Just a thought.

      • The answer is so very simple but so few are aware of it. The Marxists, like Stalin realized that they could not take down America easily because people were morally good. The belief in GOD, the BIBLE, the exemplary life of most of the Christian founders, our constitution based on Biblical principles these were the pillars that gave our nation a strong foundation to weather attacks. Staling realized this, so did the Frankfurt School. They realized that to change America fundamentally they had to make her decay from within…like termites.

It began over a hundred years ago, well, two hundred in fact because that was the basis of the French Revolution. The Founders realized this and knew how to steer us clear. After the Russian Revolution they began in earnest to plant the subversive seeds. They had to attack belief in GOD and the existence of objective TRUTH. Once truth is subjective, the boat is no longer moored. Now you can begin to introduce gradually ideas that previously would have been abhorrent but once the first shock has worn off, the mind begins to question less and less. Then the barriers of acceptable behavior begin to crumble and more and more accept what is perverse and lewd. This is just what Hollywood, Academia, Media and entertainment have done to us. There are few now who even realize what is happening TO THEM. They are awash in the sewer of Marxist induced cultural decay….their souls are barely alive.

    • UM, I’m glad you decided to post this.

If you do research into Global Elites — the Illuminati, the New World Order type of figures — you will find that they are often associated with pedophilia.

I’m not saying that is true or not, but it is certainly present in much of the supposed research on the subject.

Now, let’s just say that you were a Global Elite or Elites and you wanted to condition the masses to ‘your way of thinking.’ How would you do that?

Perhaps you would write a book that is dressed up as one thing but clearly implies another, subconsciously. Like what this author is saying. This is classical conditioning type of stuff.

I have wondered for a long time why 50 Shades Of Grey has become so ‘popular.’ The entire phenomenon of it seemed false to me. It seemed like a public relations campaign; like something that was being pushed, the supposed ‘popularity’ of it.

If this article is true, and you tie it with what I first said here in my post, then you have a possible rationale of why this kind of thing might be getting a push in the media and who might be pushing it.

The American culture — and the global culture, via the internet — is under assault from individuals who not only don’t share most people’s values, they loathe them.

Sadly, this could be just another chapter in that ongoing cultural battle.

      • Control Burn 2012
      • One of the historically known ways in which a society is broken down to make it more easily conquered is to promote social promiscuity and a breakdown in the moral fiber and family unit. The pushing of this book may be part of the program.

        • InTheKnow
        • I completely agree. This is how you destroy a society from within. And it goes along with the whole “lets all play on stripper poles for exercise” kind of culture we’re living in presently.

People will remember child star Corey Feldman and his comments on pedophilia in Hollywood:

Or Roman Polanski and the 13 year old girl he allegedly sexually assaulted.

This seems to be a very real thing being done by powerful people in elite circles. There is a lot of literature out there on this subject, and it touches on things such as the controversial ritual abuse subject, etc.

There is certain to be a lot of misinformation out there, but there also appears to be a good amount of truth.

Again, if powerful people wanted to normalize pedophilia, then this would be a pretty good way to try to do that, by writing it in as subtext in a ‘popular’ erotic book.

          • AmericaTheBeautiful
          • This is why Obama’s safe school czar was at…and teaching, yes teaching children “fisting.”. And when a student came to him for help saying he was being sexually abused by an older man…Obama’s appointed czar, Kevin Jenning, told that kid to be sure “to use condom.”. No offers of help. None…this is what Obama is about. Destruction. And like a snake he slithers away from his dirty deeds, claims innocence and speaks words the reflect the polar opposit of his actions and agenda…Obama is a truly evil force.

      • Publius
      • Haven’t read book, but have wondered about title. In light of this discussion, could “50 shades” really be subtle word play on “50 states?”

        • InTheKnow
        • That’s an interesting though, Publius. I hadn’t thought of that, but it would not surprise me.

All of the elements of these kinds of things are planned. So, I could see your thought being accurate.

It’s like how when Saturday Night Live helped to destroy Palin, people would say “oh, it’s just comedy.” Wrong. The Left knew exactly what it was doing and it worked.

Anything that gets into your head will affect you. And the Global Elites/Progressive set knows that, which is why they work so hard to control the media and the entertainment industries.

    • Haven’t (and wouldn’t) read any of the books… especially now.
It’s always fascinated me how so many people really are deeply voyeuristic and perverted. (Think Hitchcock’s Rear Window.) I had previously chalked up this author’s popularity to common depravity, which seems to have replaced common decency. After reading the letter, I was struck by the distinct feeling that the book probably was about pedophilia – perhaps the ultimate taboo. Creepy, very creepy.

What does Obama do? BO rapes us repeatedly with Executive Orders, Czars, destruction of our national defenses, NASA, our economy, energy dependency, jobs, UN Agenda 21, IMF, threats of Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) etc.

If you wanted to list his action against the system of checks and balances and the division of power including Congress, the Senate, the Supreme Court & the STATES, you be working feverishly every day to even list his un-American actions.

    • My original comment was below the first post in another article but since UM gave it its own post I will do my promised follow up to this here.

I am ashamed to say I read the books. I liked them. I did think there were parts that stuck me as odd at the time. Or out of place might be a better way to put it. How dumb and innocent the girl was did make me question the ability of the writer. But like I said, it seemed like innocent throw away reading.

I read Kat’s letter and I don’t think that away anymore. The character wasn’t just a dumb innocent college girl. Kat has done like we do in this place so often when trying to get to the truth of what Obama is really up to. Kat has connected the dots.

Anastasia Steele, who is the female main character does talk like a little girl. Looking back on it, all the clues are there. She knows nothing and has to be told about everything. Just like a little kid. I’m feeling sick right now writing this response. And like Kat says about the pig tails. And the skipping and jumping and dancing. Her inner Goddess IS just like a childs imaginary friend. And that friend is telling her to let this man have his way with her.

The clincher has to be the baby oil though. I went back and read that part again. Word for word. It’s child porn. It really is. It’s not an adult acting like a child. Nope. The author created child porn.

I don’t like to curse but this is fucking sick. And I fell for it hook line and sinker.

I need a shower. I’m still figuring all this out but I want to throw up right now. I really do.

      • Don’t feel bad. This isn’t your fault — you were set up. And set up on purpose. This is how people are manipulated and controlled.

I have not read the books and would only read them to learn more about this phenomenon being discussed. But I have asked friends “Why are they so popular?” And now I am certain I have the answer: Because they were being pushed; there was a campaign to make them popular.

Welcome to Obama’s America. Imagine what a second term would look like.

    • This book started out as a Twilight fanfic. You know, Twilight, those vampire books for teen girls that are full of thinly veiled sadomasochist symbolism.

What else would you expect from a ripoff of that series?

      • FloridaMom
      • That reminds me of something that never sat right with all that Twilight stuff. The girl was a innocent teenager. The vampire looked like a teenager but he was like 100 years old! He had the mind and experience of a very old man. So it was a very old man going after this innocent teenage girl.

That always seems so creepy to me. I haven’t read 50 Shades and now never will. Our culture is so messed up. And the author should be investigated if she really wrote what is being put out there in this letter. Gross!!!!!!

      • “This book started out as a Twilight fanfic. ”

I think the author tried to adult up a story that started out for a younger audience and did a poor job of it. It wasn’t written as a child porn con, the author just did a poor job of recreating the character for the more grown up story, possibly sue to inexperience or a complete lack of actual talent. In interviews, the author indicates that some of the graphic scenes were from her experience, though probably not the more extreme ones. She’s a middle ages housewife.

People getting all wrapped up in elite illuminati conspiracies on this are nuts.

    • Mark my works: If the Left wins the “culture wars” and manages to redefine marriage to include “gay marriage,” then pedophilia *will* be the next social deviant cause they take up.

This stuff is already laying the groundwork.

The end goal of social liberalism is a culture of “anything goes” sexuality. No rules.

      • I am not one to associate homosexuality with pedophilia, but red flags go up when the guy chosen by Obama, straigh out of Chicago, to be the Secretary of the Department of Education, Arne Ducan, is linked to promoting “understanding of homosexuality” in our schools, I paused. And when I realize that his assistant deputy secretary, Kevin Jennings, also nominated by Obama, is the founder of the Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), a group dedicated to promoting the homosexual agenda to school children as young as five, I choke.

In light of this article, I am now seeing the Obama’s picture yet a little bit clearer: The son of a victim of pedophelia (Ann was probably seduced by Marshall Davis at a very young age, if not underage), yet himself victim of pedphelia by the same man, most probably also his biological father, and whose sexual identidy has consequently been blured and tinted. (eyewitnes reports cleary define his relationship with his wealthy Pakistani roomate at Occidental as homosexual)

        • PerpWalkThemThruTheRoseGarden
        • And dont forget, Obama’s NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association) pick to work with our children as Assistant Deputy Secretary of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools at the U.S. Department of Education

Mark Tapscott says that Kevin Jennings, Obama’s Assistant Deputy Secretary of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools at the U.S. Department of Education, is in hot water this week for having failed to report that a 15-year-old sophomore student in his school had told him of having sex with an older man.

But failure to report what appeared to be a case of statutory rape of a child may be the least of Jennings’ worries.  Lori Roman of Regular Folks United points to statements by Jennings a decade or more ago when he praised Harry Hay of the North American Association for Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA), which promotes the legalization of sexual abuse of young boys by older men.

Roman provides damning details and links here.  She also notes that Jennings wrote the forward “to a book called Queering Elementary Education.  And another fellow you may have heard of wrote one of the endorsements on the book jacket — Bill Ayers.”  Ayers, of course, is the Weather Underground bomber from the 1960s who is just an “acquaintance” of Obama.

Every presidential administration ends up with scandals inspired by controversial appointees, but typically those tend to revolve around financial improprieties, conflicts of interest, or some other form of white-collar misconduct.  For Obama, the scandals seem to be developing in a pattern of disclosures revolving around radical left ideology that raises questions about their fitness for any job in government.

And that in turn raises the inevitable question: Is nobody minding the White House personnel store?

A previous report on Obama’s Deviate-in-Charge, documented Jennings’ support of homosexual statutory rape and the teaching “fisting” in the public schools…

        • AmericaTheBeautiful
        • Kevin Jennings teaching young children something called “fisting” is vile and a perversion…the MSM is who I hold resistible…the amoral pigs are pukes…Obama is simply a pervert…a communist pervert

      • InTheKnow
      • I totally agree, and so do many others: The homosexual agenda is a gateway for the pedophilia agenda.

I dont care what consenting adults do with one another. But children must be protected from this type of sexualization and potential abuse.

      • E.A.B: The end goal of social liberalism is a culture of “anything goes” sexuality. No rules.”

And that very same culture is what took down Rome… interesting contingency plan, don’t you think?

    • Back in the 1970s, there was that movie The Story of O, and that book (among others) by some female that celebrated the “zipless you-know-what.”

Same stuff, same audience, but a newer generation verse. A great constant in human nature.

      • reader
      • I know that book. At least its about adults. 50 Shades is about pedophilia. And I have to say that as someone who read it and liked it at the time. I’m freaking out about it now. I just burned it. Hoped it would make me feel better. It didn’t.

      • Redwine
      • I was about to mention The Story of O, which was very popular in the 70s. But O comes across as a young woman, and not as a thinly disguised child. You could, however, go back to Nabokov’s Lolita with all of its openly implied pedophilia. These stories and the vile abusive tales of the 50 Shades series are all rooted in the horrific pornographic writings of the Marquis de Sade. They always seem to rise as societies face massive change or turmoil: de Sade at the turn of the nihilistic French Revolution, debauched Berlin of the 1920s, the discovery of unbridled sexuality of Lolita (1955) after the horrors of WWII (note the writings of Kerouac, Ginsburg and Burroughs), and The Story of O in the wake of the sexual upheaval of the late 60s and 70s, and now this series. The difference here is that the author of 50 Shades comes nowhere near the talent of the other writers.

    • Got this book as a gift from my sister. I got about halfway through it and it didn’t sound right. Yes, the writing sucked. Sucked ass. But there was something not right about it and now I read this letter and it’s like ah hah. That’s it. It’s a book about a powerful guy raping a child. Gonna forward this to my sister. She isn’t going to like it but she needs to read it. She was actually considering letting her 17 year old daughter read the books. How gross is that?

      • NameBM
      • It is not gross. It is 50 years of desinsitizing the American people to the warning signs of sexual diviancy.

Now even calling for sexual diviancy makes you suspect of prudism. Nothing is off the table. All type of sexual behaviors are “Normal”.

I had a question from an acquaintance a while ago which left me speechless:
“why would you deny yourself of (sexual) behaviors which can give you pleasure?

The question was so off the mark I did not know how to respond.

But I have a response to that: Because we are not animals solely guided by our instincts.

We know or at least used to know the right from the wrong and we (should) know the warning signs.

        • InTheKnow
        • You got it. Key word here is ‘desensitizing.’

This is, in my opinion, being done deliberately to condition people. And it’s working, sadly.

        • CBDenver
        • “Because we are not animals solely guided by our instincts” — yep, you got it. The popuar slogan “if it feels good, do it” is designed to turn us into slavish animals.

          • CBDenver – “if it feels good, do it” – yep, thank you 60′s counter-culture commie hippies. Don’t forget CS&N’s “If you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you’re with.” Free love.

    • Nan G
    • I think your guest writer is on to something.
She describes the same desensitizing on pedophilia as Brown did via Gnosticism in his anti-Christian DaVinci Code.
When I had Jury duty the Brown book was all the rage.
A great way to sidestep your own conscience while seeming to ‘righteous.’
      The movie ruined it.
      There was no ‘there’ there.
But the damage was further reaching.
We are seeing it today with the anti-Christian activity in this country.

I imagine the damage from this 50 shades book will be seen a few years from now, also.

Remember, marriage HAD to open up for gays, next will be polygamists, then age barriers….who knows after that.

      • R. J.
      • You are correct, it is a Pandora’s box. Show me the culture over tens of thousands of years of human history that accepted this definition of marriage. Even the Greeks who have depictions of all kinds of homosexual acts on their pottery didn’t because the purpose of marriage is TO RAISE A FAMILY WITH A MOTHER AND A FATHER!

Once the traditional definition of marriage is removed, then what? Why not plural marriage? Once that barrier is down, why not bi-sexual plural marriage? And eventually we have a 40 year old man and 13 year old boy who love each other SOOO much, how can we stand in the way?

Sick, warped, evil people are behind this.

    • Michigander
    • I never heard anything that made me want to read these books, so I don’t know anything about the story, but I’m convinced this comment is right on the mark. Now, how do we get this message to go viral?

    • BobbySox
    • I am sending this to everyone I know. I read this book. The first one. Would not read the rest because I knew something was weird about it. And all my friends saying how they liked it. It was weird. Do you know the guy character was raped as a kid? And now he’s raping this girl. It is a story about child rape. It s about how he goes from being raped to raping. “Hiding in plain sight”. That is exactly right!

    • FloridaMom
    • Gonna love this. So I have this online conversation with my friend. Tell her what she would call a story about a girl who doesn’t know how to do anything even run a computer. She talks about pigtails and cartwheels and gosh, gee wiz and has never had sex or an orgasm or drank and then an older guy takes her and has sex with her.

She goes, “that sounds like fucking CHIMO shit.”

I told her that was the plot to 50 Shades of Grey which she read last month.

Her response? To tell me to FUCK OFF.

      • Kat’s post made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. I haven’t read the book, but I recall a review that said it makes wives want to have sex with their husbands. Chance is right – moms are getting off on child porn.

        • spotted reptile
        • I responded to Kat’s original post on the Romney thread, but it’s more relevant here:

Everyone is right, this is about ‘desensitizing’ the populace to child sexual abuse. Turning it into ‘freedom of sexual expression’ as though little kids need that sort of thing in their lives.

Children instinctively shy away from sexual approaches by adults. They’re not equipped to handle it either mentally or emotionally, and they know it. It’s the wrong ‘touching’ and it damages them, often for life. What adult can knowingly do this to a young child? How can this relationship ever be considered as beneficial for a child? It’s control, pure and simple, and evil control at that. It’s not an act of equal partnership, it is pure exploitation and abuse.

The apologists for Roman Polanski and Kevin Jennings ought to hang their heads in shame at what they are doing and suggesting to the adults of tomorrow.

I did read the book, about halfway through and abandoned it due to the very poor writing and style, but also the content struck me as off. Kat hit the nail on the head. It’s not Mummy porn, it’s mummy getting off on child porn. Most women I suspect aren’t aware of this. Like me they bought or received the book out of curiosity. Many of them would probably like to hand the book back right now.

        • Rush Limbaugh mentioned this book, believe he was reading it. It sounded like he was even promoting it. Said it was not for the innocent, warning such people. But he said that it was something that would really set off the “feminists” because it demonstrated the power women have via “submission”!!!

Police Investigating Rep. Kerry Gauthier for Alleged Criminal Act
      August 15, 2012
Updated Aug 16, 2012 at 11:17 AM CDT
      Duluth, MN (Northlands NewsCenter)
      – Minnesota district 7B Representative Kerry Gauthier is at the center of a criminal investigation by Duluth police. This is a particularly sensitive situation right now as incumbent lawmaker Gauthier will face Republican challenger Travis Silvers in November.
Police will only confirm that Representative Gauthier involved in an incident the Thompson Hill rest stop last month.
News Fast. News First. Subscribe for text alerts, e-news & more.
State Patrol will confirm that one witness approached a trooper around 11 at night on July 22nd to report an incident.
The State Patrol turned the investigation over to the Duluth Police Department.
Well placed sources today told the Northland’s NewsCenter, the incident involved a 17 year old boy with whom Gauthier was reportedly engaged in a sexual act.
Because the age of consent in Minnesota is 16 it is not illegal to have sex with someone who is 17. However it can be a misdemeanor to engage in sex acts in a public place.
Our sources say Representative Gauthier met the young man on Craig’s List and that police are investigating the potential that money changed hands which could make it a criminal matter.

    • When I was in the dentist’s office several months ago I took note of the fact that two issues of Time magazine there made a very big deal about the books. Most notable were some of the women’s comments about the books. Pretty raw stuff.

My experience with women is pretty substantial and I am not surprised by the fascination they have with these books. There are a lot of women out there who want to be dominated on some level. Those who wouldn’t accept it from their husbands look elsewhere for it all too often.

Sex acts themselves involve dominance and submission to various degrees. Peple may not want to accept that but if they think about the very acts they engage in, the truth of that is there. As far as men go, testosterone is two things: sex and aggression. Good sex tempers that aggression but does not completely eliminate it for it cannot.

I’m not supporting the books, or their theme, simply pointing out what I see as obvious. As I said, I found some of the comments that women had on the books pretty disturbing. More so than the content of the books noted. I haven’t read them and have no intention of doing so.

I’d also point out that society is getting sicker by the day so is any of this really a surprise?

    • I was at Costco with my 13 year old daughter and she picked up a copy of this book and asked if she could get it. She had heard that this author had originally started her writing career on Fan Fiction. My daughter is also a member of Fan Fiction. She writes little stories about the series Warriors which is about cats. She later told me that this story was pulled from Fan Fiction due to inappropriate content. I remembered my sister telling me that 50 Shades was a woman’s porn book wrapped in a fancy cover.

The one positive thing this book brought about was a honest and frank discussion with my child about pedophiles and the way they can trick children. We have taught our children about “Mr. Stranger Danger,” but they think that once they are a little older that they are no longer in danger. This book shows otherwise.

    • truthandjustice
    • At first, I wondered why this was on this site but I guess that it is but another destructive, evil, deceitful, sneaky strategy of the left to further bring us down just as Obama’s Admin. and a warning. Nothing new and not surprised. Most of us older ones remember how it used to be before the “sexual revolution” of the 60′s when premarital sex, “living together” without marriage, abortion, etc. was condemned, thought to be highly immoral and harmful. At first most were shocked at this, then as more and more did it, it gradually became the accepted “new normal” and in addition, if you said anything otherwise, you were the one considered a terrible person, intolerant, hateful, a “prude”, etc. “Morals” are reversed. Good is evil. Evil is good. It’s as old as the hills as they say. So now it’s just gone boldly further downward with this. It’s predictable.
Another one is beastiality. Everyone is aghast, right? Never happen, right? Well, check out (no, on second thought, don’t) – the popular websites about it. Yes – growing in popularity. Read an article on AOL one time where a woman died afterwards. Then I saw one on Breitbart not long ago with a picture on their front page of girl and a dog. Couldn’t believe it. It’s fallen human nature to keep deteriorating – you don’t “evolve” into “better” people as liberals believe. No – it’s the opposite…without God. That’s what it comes down to – a rebellion to God, traditional Christianity – what our Founding Fathers believed and based the Constitution on, etc. — which is what Communism, etc. is all about. They are trying to arrogantly live and govern “without God”, replacing Him with the all controlling Government, elites. Our Founders said that our Republic could not survive if we didn’t have a majority of “moral” people. Well, guess what?!!!!

As for the book, I didn’t read it and have no desire to. But I did read where the Gideon Bibles were being taken out of Motels and replaced with this book I think !!!.
It’s not only this topic, it’s other ones too that women like that are about having affairs. Yes, that’s about consenting adults but is another destructive, immoral issue in our society. But those have become “accepted”…like the immoral Soap Opera TV shows, etc., etc., etc. I’m always surprised about how many who call themselves “Christians” read and watch all these and think it’s fine. And those are not even “hidden”. Ok – enough of my “two cents”. I’m sure I “lost” many with that….

      • Stirrin the B.S.
      • TAJ – 100% on the money. It’s a rebellion against God. Communism is a Godless, souless ideology. The Bible has plenty of stories about the fate of nations that rebelled against God. When man elevates himself above God, the consequences are disasterous.

      • After calling a little child unto him, Jesus said, “…whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in Me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea…….Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.” Matt. 18:6 and 10

    • I can’t remember how many years ago it was, maybe ten? I read about a coffee table photography book of pictures of children sensualized. I remember reading the rationalzation for this and thinking, “Oh, no, here it comes.”

Also, have any of you read about the discovery pentagon staff are using the computers to look at child porn?

It is all about the eventual mainstreaming of this stuff, it starts by getting its foot in the door, like euthanasia, the other horror on its way in. They start by veiling it, then asking for acceptance, then the next thing you know they are calling it a right.

    • Shocking recent news: Child porn & government officials…

      Bureaucrats risk national security breaches

By Lori Handrahan Friday, August 10, 2012

…This past week, the Pentagon’s Missile Defense Agency warned its staff not to view porn on U.S. government computers. The Pentagon also released a report on April’s Secret Service Colombian scandal. The two are connected.

In April, I said the Colombian scandal exposed a national security problem, the epidemic of U.S. GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES VIEWING PORN — CHILD PORN — ON GOVERNMENT NETWORKS. (emphasis mine) I suggested readers type “Transportation Security Administration,” “U.S. State Department,” “Pentagon,” “Immigration and Customs Enforcement” and “child porn” into Google’s search field to understand the scope. I neglected to include “Missile Defense Agency.”

Bloomberg quotes a cybersecurity expert saying the Missile Defense Agency’s use of porn is concerning because “many pornographic websites are infected and criminals and foreign intelligence services such as Russia’s use them to gain access and harvest data.”…

…In 2010, the Boston Globe reported that senior Pentagon staff were downloading child porn. Instead of generating a media storm, the story died. Senior staff were watching the sexual torture of small children on Pentagon computers, and Americans were not outraged?

    • I was given the book so I started the trilogy… and it sickened me.
It should be very clear to any adult that the male lead in the story (Grey) is pretty screwed up from his “introduction” to sex. It was sexual abuse and it screwed the man up… abuse is not any less okay when it is a woman abusing a boy and it worries me as to why these books are as popular as they are… sad, very sad.

    • As one who was molested from the ages of 9-14, part of the molestation was encouragement to read “The Happy Hooker” among other books. I seem to be a member of a tiny minority, however, since I was molested by a woman {my godmother} – a few years prior, my mother had become physically and emotionally abusive to me, so I was kind of a prime candidate for the molestation.

When I finally told my mother about it {when I was in my early 20′s}, she initially dismissed it as ‘playing doctor’ and later accused ME of being the seducer …………………. my godmother, if she’s still alive, was born in 1929, the same year as my father. And my father was not aware, because he was career military and away from home for long periods of time, so he does NOT deserve any denigration.

YES, I did seek psych treatment/counseling – but it STILL has an impact.

      • Thank you for your honest addition to this discussion. There are many, many people who have experienced similar insults to their childhood who, like you, have sought counsel and live with the consequences of “playing doctor” at age 9-14, and have had to live with that impact on a daily basis.

What this entire article and the quick responses by so many illustrates is why so many of us have moved out of the city, away from the theaters, the fast food, and the red/orange/green hair… When I see a beautiful young person covered in tattoos, I say out loud, “Maori ?”

We are in very dangerous times. I pray…

    • It’s fan fiction based on the ‘Twilight’ series, with just enough name-changes to make it legally safe to publish… What do you expect?

The level of writing in the ‘Twilight’ books is so bad, it practically borders on offensive. To say nothing of the downright bizarre ethics involved in what it paints as a supposedly healthy relationship, which is, in fact, utterly abusive. A guy who’s essentially an old man hanging around a high school and being attracted to the heroine, purely because she “smells good”. The heroine being portrayed as happy that she’s being obsessively stalked (to the extent of being watched while she sleeps). Later on, graduating to it being presented as a good thing for a girl who feels jilted to actively threaten suicide as a way to get her admirer back, not to mention how he physically starts hitting her for daring to disagree with him.

I recall one interview where, because it was starting to get obvious that one of the messages was that women should obey their husbands, no matter what, the author was asked if that was intentional. She not only admitted it was, but was very open that it was a deliberate attempt to shoehorn her own religious views into the text.

The time when ‘Harry Potter’ was banned for allegedly encouraging witchcraft, was the stuff of idiocy. But the ‘Twilight’ series literally needs to have some sort of foreword accompaniment warning young women against following Bella’s example. It’s a truly horrific thing to hold up as in any way desirable. Yet, stupidly, the only thing it got criticised for was for portraying vampires, of all things! Nothing about how it GLORIFIED a hopelessly abusive relationship, whatsoever.

Which is often made worse by the only criticisms about it usually being along the lines of Edward supposedly being a ‘pussy’, instead of even MORE violent and psychotic.

Somewhat amusingly, the author was also once asked about how she imagined Bella in her mind. She went on to give a physical description which… Matched herself! The actor who played Edward in the films even stated in a public interview that he actually found the books creepy to read, because he felt like they were the personal fantasies of a woman which had somehow been placed in the public domain.

Note, I’m not calling for them to be banned. Just to carry warnings and be regarded as the trash they are.

Don’t think stuff like this affects girls? Do a search for some of the bizarre antics of hardcore ‘Twilight’ fans. The incident at a school, where one girl threw a beaker of acid in another’s face, during science class, just because she said she didn’t have any opinion on how allegedly awesome Edward was, due to not having ever read the books.

Writing sexually graphic fan fiction isn’t wrong. There are plenty of people who do. But it takes a certain kind of… Mentality to not only think there’s nothing wrong with ‘Twilight’, but to be able to trudge through its horridly written verse and actually decide it’s not only good, but something you want to get strongly involved in. Anyone who writes this kind of material based on stuff like that…? Yeah, it’s GOING TO BE WEIRD. At best, nonsensical. At worst… Well… Need I say more? The source material it’s based on already tells the reader to champion a number of unpleasant things (the fact it involves vampires, believe me, is practically immaterial). Anything which takes that as a template shouldn’t be expected to be good.

But like I said, don’t call for its banning. Call for its RIDICULE. Call for people to pay attention to how horrifying this stuff is to give to young women as standards to live up to.

      • “Interview With a Vampire” is the first popular homosexual/pedophile vampire movie. Tom Cruise plays a bitchy old, washed-up fag-pire.

Brad Pitt plays a pedophile. There was a surprising silence on the nature of this movie, and in particular his role.

Women I know refused to acknowledge the nature of the movie: “Tom Cruise? Gay?”
I said: “In the movie! In the movie!”
Who is blindest but those who will not see?

        • Xeno
        • ‘Interview’ is a decent movie, given its context. It doesn’t glorify anything. If anything, the moral of it is that the vampiric condition is seen very much as a curse and burden. That Lestat is ultimately an impulsive fool who does more harm than anything else.

There’s no paedophilia in it. You’ve viewed it very superficially if you think that. I can only assume you’re referring to Claudia, about whom it’s made VERY clear no physical relationship happens with. Yes, she’s practically in love with Louis, but it’s also made just as clear that she’s got the mind (and has lived the life) of a woman who’s become many years older than her physical age. That’s why she longs to be an adult and why it’s so tragic that she can’t be.

But there’s no sexual relationship with her character, whatsoever.

There’s a MASSIVE difference between that, an intelligent movie which uses character flaws to illustrate the failings of base human nature, compared to ridiculously superficial crap like ‘Twilight’, which DOES glorify abusive relationships.

        • Xeno
        • I will, however, admit that I wasn’t able to wade my way through the original novel of ‘Interview With The Vampire’, which is a completely different kettle of fish. For those of you not familiar with it, it is similar to a Hooters; alcohol, wings, scantly-clad female waitresses wearing mini-kilts and bras. One night, my husband and I decided to go there for dinner (because he was hungry for some wings…Yea, right. LOL) When we entered the sports bar, we were greeted by two ladies dressed in their “working uniforms”. I was taken back by how young they looked. I found out a couple of days later, when talking to someone that had worked there, that the restaurant hires girls as young as 15 years old as a hostess. I will not be returning. What mother lets her child work in a bar??!!

Further, when such a tale is told in the first person, it is read as and becomes “thought” in the first person too.

Thus, those thoughts become a ‘mind-control programming’ to, and within, all the readers.

In some who have been previously mind-control programmed, it can serve as a trigger to behaviors and actings-out.

To others it may be the first programmings. Still, that may bear fruit upon experiencing future triggers.

Power over the young – the impressionable, the vulnerable – in my region of the US, a man of 41 (“man?”) gave a 14 year old AIDS. It isn’t only the powerful who are unspeakable. But the powerful remain protected, while this man – the predator with AIDS – is in prison. Getting free healthcare to extend his worthless life.

I know of a physician who manually checked the prostates of young boys – boys 11-14. Nothing at that age requires that kind of test; medically unneccessary. Manual rape, by a pervert using his position and power. No one has ever done anything about it. When other doctors were told of his activities, they would hem and haw and look at their shoes…embarrased. Silent. Co-conspirators by their silence.

Such things exist because we don’t want to be responsible for the ugly repercussions, the upset, the whole shit-ass scene. But the quiet horror of the boys, whose trusting parents allowed the abuse? They are haunted by demons that no one will ever acknowledge.

And now? Our culture celebrates such demons. Their protectors are elevated to the highest positions in the land. The Presidency, DHS…everywhere in this picture, you see them.

Wonder why the President was silent on Sandusky? Like many abused children, he has been made a co-conspirator, and he began to endorse the dark side, first as a victim, then as a participant, now as an enabler.

Unlike him, some of us fight back, and we refuse to be accomplices.

    • I read this piece of crap and I have to agree with the author of the letter. The book is indeed about pedophilia. The woman who wrote the book lives in England – England has been inundated with Muslims – pedophilia is an accepted part of their lives – a lot of british natives sympathize with muslims and are trying to main stream their sick beliefs. The british people are insanely anti-semetic and see the promotion of Islam as their duty. Pray people – we are living in very sick times.

    • I am going to be as less graphic as I can. Years ago I bluntly asked a gay friend of mine to explain the difference between pleasure he experiences during gay intercourse and pleasure he had experienced during heterosexual intercourse.

His response explained a lot. The physicality of homosexual intercourse allows for direct stimulation of the prostate which provides for drastically more intense response.

Hence, the outmost danger of molestation of young boys, the addiction of the physical response overtaking the natural incline of emotional attraction to women, creating lifetime of confusion and misery.

This is why molestation of chilren is a crime which cannot be minimized, rationalized or ignored.

The editor and author of 50 shades needs to be ousted as promoting and pushing pedophelia, and if not in a court of law, prosecuted by the public at large.

    • Oh, the stories I could tell…

This book, like so many things in our society, attempts to “normalize” the abnormal. Worse though is when those that are in the business of protecting children become the impetus necessary to perpetuate the lie. Let’s just say child endangerment is big business.

And we wonder why children abhor authority.

      • Having found adults in general to be untrustworthy, my motto became “Question Authority.” It rankles me when my fellow Christian brethren rip people who endorse the phrase, because they’ve seemingly forgotted the role of the faux-church in promoting and protecting this kind of sickness. I trust G0D the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and no one else. Don’t ask me to trust others.

It also irritates me to read the author’s words – which are often repeated as if they are a fact – where she claims that molested children usually turn into molesters. Some become protectors.

That is one reason I think Obama is total slime: he is an accomplice to molesters everywhere. He didn’t have to, but he did. It was a CHOICE that he made. All I know is that I would never leave my stepson in his company, anymore than I would leave a young woman in her teens or early twenties in the company of Bill Clinton.

    • I didn’t note any comments about this issue, but a few months ago I went shopping for play clothes as gifts for my triplet granddaughters, who are 5 years old. I went to several stores and was appalled at the selections available. I was so disgusted with the styles offered that I finally gave up and told my daughter that I refused to spend money on clothing that looked like it was designed for midget street corner hookers. The peek a boo, off one shoulder trashy hooker look is apparently all the rage with manufacturers, which can only be because people are willing to buy it.

      • VTX
      • Care to check out the choices clothing designers have made with their own lives? Like the J Crew executive, putting pink nail polish on her advertisement, feminizing her son. That is sexual abuse of a sort. And she’s a lesbian. Go figure!

    • Read “The Franklin Cover-up” for more information on this topic. And THANK YOU for submitting the article. Sandusky is not an isolated abuser. There are rings of them who buy and trade children for their own perverse pleasures. A lot of the victims are then turned into mind slaves. This is no joke.

    • This was a very interesting read. I know the books. Read each one. Arrived at the exact same conclusion. By the end there is a very strong attempt by the author to normalize what has just taken place. The victim is seen as getting the prize of a super wealthy man. It is implied she has fixed him and life will be happily ever after. The reality of abuse of course is that the abused becomes an abuser. The child victim of a pedophile becomes a pedophile. There are a growing number in our society who work very hard trying to normalize this. The Obama administration placed a man to run the Dept. of Education who advocates for men having sex with boys. True. Look it up. This book is dangerous and I am so grateful for this article. I hope the message gets out there to more people. There will be a lot of shame among a lot of women who read the story and enjoyed it, but after the shame comes knowledge and hopefully, this kind of thing won’t happen again as easily.

    • Another thing . . . women reading the 50 Shades books might have memories of sexual abuse triggered. If this happens, they will be in a world of doo and must seek professional help ASAP. There are a lot of victims who have suppressed memories of abuse from their parents or adults.

    • For those here who are good at “connecting the dots,” I suggest exploring the following connection:

Investigate the connection between the Council for Secular Humanism (atheist academics) and pedophilia.

They’ve been at it for a while.

    • A young girl walks into a bar. Everyone knows she is underage. Maybe about 15 or so. But she has a fake ID. People at the bar, the guys willing to buy her drinks, they use the fake ID as an excuse to take advantage of her. That is their out even though she is obviously way underage. She acts like a girl. Talks like a girl. She is a girl. They charm her. Make promises to her. Tell her how smart she is. Tell her they want to teach her things. Tell her its ok. It’s normal. It will feel good. When they learn she is a virgin, they become even more insistent. She is convinced to have get drunk and have sex with them. Over time, she repeatedly agrees to be abused. Each case of abuse becomes more violent. More extreme. But the abuse is described to her in very simple terms. It is “sexy” it is “hot” she is told how attractive she is, how good of a “learner’ she is. Others hearing about these descriptions, are turned on by the acts. Even though they know she is just a child, she has fake ID. She said she was 21, right? So that makes it ok. It’s not abuse. It’s erotica.

That is 50 Shades of Grey. The female character is a child in every aspect but one. The author says she is 21 years old. The author gives her a fake ID to make this story of pedophilia OK.

50 Shades was originally Twilight fan fiction based on the two main character. She even called them by those names before changing them when 50 Shades was published. In Twilight the female character is a H.S. teenager and the male character is in human years, a very old man. About 100 yrs old give or take.

The female in 50 Shades talks and acts even younger than does the teenaged Bella who she is based upon. She is also less experience, more innocent than the teenage Bella. So basically if you remove the fake ID of her given age by the writer as 21, the 50 Shades girl is very young and is brutalized by the older male character. And it is sold as sexy porn romance.

Its not. It is like the writer of this letter said. Its pedophilia and women including a whole bunch of moms, are getting off on it.

Society is in big big trouble when this kind of thing is allowed to happen so easily.

    • The calling each other baby, the baby oil used during sex, the pigtails worn by the female character, the remarks about skipping and cartwheels, and dancing, the oh gosh gee wiz dialogue, the complaints from the female in 50 Shades to her abuser about being treated like a child, and her abuser telling her she is a child, how naive she is, how innocent she is, he tells her when to sleep, how to eat, dress, act, all the things a parent would do, how she doesn’t even know how to work a computer properly even though the author gave her the age of 21, take away that fake ID age of 21, and the girl in 50 Shades is exactly that. She’s a little girl. And she is brutalized over and over again, including being repeatedly bitten as punishement and by the end of the stories the author tries to make nice with it all. The older male manipulates her, pretends he has “changed” which of course is an all too common theme of real world sexual abuse issues. He threatens her emotionally, physically ,demands she obey him, tells her who to see, where she may go.

Sorry to all those moms out there reading and saying how much they like this thing. It’s pedophilia you’re enjoying. And imagine if there are men now who believe this to be acceptable since society has embraced this book? Perhaps those moms have daughters. Those moms have now made the world that much more dangerous for their children. That may sound harsh but that is the reality of this book. Even the pedophile character is given some version of redemption. They are seen as a friend and mentor to the male character, who is of course, himself a pedophile. It really is that obvious.

Now if any of you are still refusing to believe this fact, how about this line from the 50 Shades series?

“I think she likes sex already.”

That’s both the main characters talking about their unborn child. Those who want to defend that line in the context of the story that is one scene of abuse after another, you’re already lost. But for those of you who might now be thinking you’ve been had, that 50 Shades really is a “pedophile con” as the writer of this letter put it, read that line again and you can’t deny the truth.

50 Shades of Grey is evil. And just like the writer said, it’s hiding in plain sight.

    • Haven’t read the book (and won’t) but if it’s like posters say it is, then predators will also be reading the book – not just women. Doesn’t it sound like it’s a how-to manual on perversion for perverts?

I’m guessing it’s gonna be very popular in the Obama camp. They’re chok-full-o-nuts.

    • Even Dr. Oz got into the fray on this “50 Shades of Grey” phenomenon back in April, 2012.

I saw the show and realized the book was probably about pedophilia and watch in discuss as Mom’s across America “raved on” about it.

BTW — My Lady, Lame Cherry, has been saying all this “gay stuff” is paving the way for the acceptance of pedophilia in our society, so I am constantly on the look out for signs of this.

And, it is true, Hotels in Europe are replacing bibles w/”50 Shades of Gray”.

      SO SAD!! :(

    • The title is every telling: if everything is in shades of gray, everything is, to some extent acceptable- there is no black and white, no right or wrong.

This is a very, very scary trend. If there is no right or wrong, there is no rule of law. There is no law at all, since crimes from pedophilia to murder would just be “another shade of gray.”

    • Colette-Lolita-GeorgieGirl
    • The French author Colette, author of “Gigi,” and credited with launching Audrey Hepburn’s star career, became famous in her early 20′s for writing the series of novels “Claudine à l’école,” “Claudine à Paris,” and others – describing the relationship of a young maturing girl with an older, degenerate man. Now this was 1900-1903. Of course, Nabakov’s “Lolita” was published in 1955, although the original film with James Mason wasn’t produced by Stanley Kubrick until 1962. Humbert Humbert became sexually obsessed in this story with 12 year-old Dolores Haze, whom he nicknamed “Lolita.”

So these kinds of books are nothing new, but what is very new is that the media establishment is now permeated with people who have a vested interest, for ideological as well as political reasons, in promoting adult-child sex.

Objectively working to produce a sick society, the Leftist agenda makers utilize demoralization as standard operating procedure. This is fully explained in the video interviews taped in 1984 with former Soviet agent Yuri Bezmenov, and there are several uploads on YouTube, which are instructive. This is how classic Communism takes over.

What is also new is the moral vacuum in our society, which is the result of the destruction of the Catholic Church. I know this is not the place to launch a religious diatribe. However, it is true, and documented, that Communist infiltration of the Catholic Church seriously began in the 1930′s through planting agents in American seminaries (see book by Bella Dodd, former Communist Party organizer and head of the New York State Teachers Union in the late 1940′s).

There is hearsay evidence that Pope John Paul II was propelled into the Vatican after an early career which was well-oiled by the KGB; one can speculate that the inspiring Polish Solidarity movement, and the break-up of the Soviet Union, had geopolitical undertones, but that is another topic, for the conspiratorial mind.

In any event, thanks to pedophilia cover-ups, perhaps orchestrated by these same Communist agents within the Church, or at least manipulated for their objectives, the moral authority of Christianity as a whole has been overwhelmed.

“Fifty Shades of Grey,” as well as the “Twilight” series as a whole, find almost unanimous acceptance in a world which thinks the “Immaculate Conception” refers to the birth of Jesus Christ – so universally now has the traditional bulwarks of Catholic teaching been deliberately distorted. Virginity as such was assured added value when the Mother of God represented the ideal of lifetime purity.

I sincerely hope this comment will be approved, in spite of its not being politically correct.

    • I have not read the book nor do I have plans too. As a Mother and a Wife I’m very happy in my 20 plus years with my Husband. I need no book to stimulate me when I have the love of my life sleeping next to me every single night. What I see happening with a lot of these woman or society in general is an acceptance into a more demented sexual mentality. Woman who are missing something in their lives and have mistaken a book of graphic sexually content as a means of filling that void.
I do not mean to insult anyone that has enjoyed the book I’m just looking at it as a further means to demoralize our world.

I am not saying this is true of all women who read the book I’m sure some are just curious what the big deal was about with 50 shades. Others may read it and find it funny that so many women are going out of their way to emulate the characters sexual prowess in the book. That ‘s fine and dandy to each their own and all that. But I see it as one more step in making people comfortable with the strange and sometimes wrong. Like Pedophilia, Child Marriage and Polygamy If that is true and this book represents that. It would make a lot of since with the One World Orders dumbing down of humans and accepting a more moralists’ society.
Works better for them to control you. Make defiant behavior the norm Anarchy praised and rewarded then one day wake up and realize everything that has be accepted by you has put you and I smack dab into a Communist Nation.
This is just my opinion ..

    • Ok, so my last comment was before I read this article, I’m still only half way finished with the article I’m at the pigtail tampon section. I started thinking about what happened to me as an 11 year old girl I was molested by my REAL father. I have felt shame my whole entire life. I had a disastrous first marriage because I married my High School boyfriend to get away from my Father and wasn’t truly in love with him no matter how hard I tried to convince myself.

So I’m wondering here if the Author of the book was molested as a child and she has twisted the incident into a Romantic sort of thing to help her deal with the issues of Child Molestation. Which are in my case hating your body being very very ashamed of what happen to you. Not being able to have organisms well with the first husband why cheated on me because I really truly hated sex.

I don’t blame him for that but I also won’t tolerate cheating especially in this day and age with all the STDS and Aides. Things changed after I meant my 2nd most honorable loving kind gentle Husband, I was still young in my early 20’s he in his middle 30’s. Not looking for a father figure like my Mother said about him. I was looking for a man a real man and not a boy. Someone who when they made a commitment they meant it. Along with that came trust. So much so that I was able to become like a normal woman…
I wasn’t ashamed or embarrassed of my body anymore because he made me feel beautiful, he made me feel irreplaceable He knew my back ground it never fazed him expect in his contempt for my father and mother who did nothing when I told her what was going on with me and my older mentally challenged sister.

She went through hell much more then I, yet my Mother stayed with my Father claiming he would get help.
He never did. On the day that he died, a drunk 19-year-old driver killed him, the car caught fire and he burned to death. My Grandmother said it was a fitting ending for him sent him right to hell where he belonged. I felt free within minutes of hearing about his death. Freer then I had ever felt before.
Anyway. My Husband made me feel safe and very very loved. . It changed everything for me sexually.
I can never thank him enough for being the big strong loving gentle giant that he is. Not to mention the worlds best father…

Do you think that could be the case with this woman? She was abused or saw abuse and then flipped it the way our minds sometimes do in order for us to better deal with horrible situations?

    • Name Noah
    • One more thing then I’ll shut up maybe.. My Husband had this woman who would come by his apartment whenever she wanted sex (years before he met me).. She too had been molested by her father(maybe it’s why he was able to help me) anyway she could only get off by being tied up in a catholic school girl outfit and pretend being rape, beating her face with a hard Penis.. and spankings.. Telling her she was naughty and dirty so on and so forth.. Sounds a lot like this book.. He told me he didn’t like it but he was young and wanted to get laid so he played a long.. His taste run much milder and he doesn’t get off on causing others pain.. He is a sweet romantic lover.. could be why after all this time together we still can’t get enough of one another.

    • There are some problems with definitiona which need to be cleared up, especially when pedophilia is such an emotionally charged name.

The correct word for this type of attraction for a girl who is post-pubescent is Hebephilia (at least the proposed new word) or Ephebophilia which is the attraction for teenagers between the ages of 15-16.

These are not children but they are teenagers who are on the cusp of adulthood.

I have not read the book 50 shades of grey and I have no intention of reading any of the books in the series. I had suspected that the book would be rubbish. Just seeing the way it is promoted makes me cringe!!

As one who was abused in that crucial age range, I am well aware of what takes place. I have no desire to give any details of what took place… but it is enough that I do not want to read about such abuses fictional or not.

    • I read all three of the books over the summer and came across this when I was looking to see if the series was going to be continued. I LOVED the books!!! Then I read this and think well maybe she was young and dumb but this is NOT a book about pedophilia. Then I read all these comments and start to really think about it. The one thing that really did kinda gross me out was the line about their unborn daughter when they say “she already likes sex”. That was a very weird thing to say and even then I wondered why the author put that in there. Who talks about a baby like that? So that gets me going back through the books and now I’m on the fence. These stories do have a lot of weird young girl stuff in it. Maybe that’s because the writer started this as Twilite fan fiction where the girl is a teenager and the vampire is like a 100 yrs old? (Which now that I think about it is kind of weird too.) Or maybe her writing is so bad the female character comes off as a lot younger? Or maybe the story really was about an innocent teenage girl who is seduced by a much older man and then the editor changed that up so the story could be published? I don’t really know. What I will say is that this article and all the comments really got me thinking about 50 Shades in a whole new way and like some of the other readers who mentioned it I feel a little stupid for reading the books. The whole young innocent girl thing is really creepy when you step back and look at it. I won’t be reading anything more from this author. There is definitely something up with what she did here. Just doesn’t sit right with me now. Thanks for listening!
