Special Forces Security Leader Drops Bombshell Against Obama State Department

Lt. Colonel Andy Wood, who told CBS News he showed the Obama administration just how “dangerous, volatile, and unpredictable” the environment in Libya had become for American personnel there, indicates being shocked that essential security was removed from Libya just one month before the deadly terrorist attack that killed a U.S. Ambassador and three other Americans.

    • Goes back to Clinton and the “peace dividend,” and is remniscent of the United Nations’ arrogance, as they – like Obama – thought themselves “the good guys.” August 19, 2003:

“Except for a newly built concrete wall, U.N. officials at the headquarters refused the sort of heavy security that the U.S. military has put up around some sensitive civilian sites. The United Nations “did not want a large American presence outside,” Salim Lone, the U.N. spokesman in the Iraqi capital, said.”

      Ronald Reagan: Jaunuary 16, 1984:
“History teaches that wars begin when governments believe the price of aggression is cheap….So when we neglected our defenses, the risk of serious confrontation grew.”

The cost of aggression against our interests and against our nation is cheapened under Barack Obama; there is no cost, only benefit – for the enemy.

Thinking beyond and above politics for a moment: is this what we want? Is this what David Axelrod and Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid want? They all might want to think about that for a moment…

    • ThroughtheLookingGlass
    • Oooooh. Tt may be what the Demoncrats…Hilly, Barry, Nancy, Harry and Axelrodent may want…the national security weakened…and they may want to benefit the enemies’ actions towards the US…BUT IT ISN’T WHAT THE CITIZENS OF THIS NATION WANT. Charge them with treason and let’s get on with being the strongest Democratic Republic on Earth.

      • @ ThroughthelookingGlass

I agree!! This was an act of Treason!!

Someone from UK News (I believe) said that there was a group of Marines in a Helicopter that was attacked as it was going to rescue the people at the Embassy ……. Was this “attack staged” to make Obama look good?

Then the Marine Helicopter got attacked & the Ambassador was murdered instead of being rescued??

It sounds like a set up with our security removed just weeks before Sept. 11th…. I may be off base here; but, something does not smell right to me!!

        • Redwine
        • I’m with you. I believe the attack from the jihadi mob, possibly together with US assistance from overhead, was deliberate. Amb. Stevens and the men with him were CIA and knew too much about the regime’s involvement in the Arab version of Fast & Furious, where weapon stockpiles were ferreted out of Libya through the regime-supported Muslim Brotherhood to Gaza for the upcoming war with Israel. The regime is up to its eyeballs in treason and downright evil.

        • Makes one wonder if Lamecherry had a back story …who claimed this was all supposed to be a Wag the Dog…where kidnapped Ambassador and others were then saved, negotiated free by Obama night before the debate….Only the wrong savages got hold of Chris Stevens…and yes Obama is capable of such criminal Kabuki

          • VTX
          • Lamecherry was partly correct – not entirely. The code is inexact.

The fact is, the Idiot in Chief is capable of that kind of skullduggery; he has a long history of it, including attempts (some successful) to keep others off the ballot. WHI exposed his worst attempt: to hold UBL until late in the election game, refusing early initiatives to take UBL out. Jarrett was part-and-parcel in that, and probably is deeply involved in this, too.

        • VTX
        • Act of treason, assuredly.

The setup was to encourage a mob scene, where the Ambassador would be rescued, showing Obama’s mastery of the situation; he was supposed to make it look easy, like he was in control. It was a staged event, until the event was usurped. You don’t play A-Team games with terrorists and not expect to get your ass flamed.

The Marine helicopter was supposed to be an A-Team maneuver, with Mr. T and the rest of the boys showing up miraculously, as if by superb response (it was planned to look that way) No offense to the rescue team – I doubt they had a clue that they were being set up, either. Nor did the late Ambassador, though I suspect he had a clue.

But the pertinent fact is that our defenses were weakened precisely so the Idiot in Cbief could demonstrate his omniscience and omnipotence – (as an Antichrist, he’s surely missing the mark, because the Antichrist would actually be capable.) It’s also his combination of arrogance, narcisistic self delusion and indolence that prevented him from anticipating the dangers that he put our people under.

Obama’s weakness invites aggession; his arrogance blinds him to his faults; his incompetence incapacitates him, and his principles are nonexistent. Worst of all, he is a national security threat – the greatest in decades.

    • truthandjustice
    • Yes, pretty obvious to me it was all another treasonous staged event to help Obama’s evil regime’s agenda….but backfired. Justice Lord !!!!

I was wondering — if Israel goes it alone and strikes Iran this month, what would that do to their plans and what would be the consequences in the world?

    • Vince Flynn’s book Term Limits has some shortcomings – too slick in places and too glib about how things could happen – but the novel has some interesting things that could be considered relevant and perhaps clairvoyant:

      - An overwhelming national debt and politicians who aren’t interested in restraining themselves, jeopardizing the nation’s security.
      - Politicians who leak information that cost American lives – Defense and Intel operative’s lives.

Those two points are central in the book as they are central at the moment.

Doubt it could play out the way the author writes it, but you can’t expect everything that the administration has done to pass without consequences. The consequences, we shall say, will be covered up as in the book, whatever they happen to be. I won’t guess what they’ll be – but you shouldn’t expect to see hearings and trials, ending with the President (Jarrett) serving time in prison for treason and other crimes. Things don’t happen that way, not in the book and not in reality. My advice is to trust Intel to do what is neccessary; they have far more to lose than most will ever understand.

      • bill o'rights
      • Exactly my thoughts.

There will never be open acknowledgement. The government will never admit that a coup took place, regardless that everyone clearly already knows.

With regard to the players involved, however, I do feel that a reckoning will take place in the form of accidents, mishaps and maladies of various sorts. But, like everything the intelligence community does, it will provide for decades of conspiracy discussion, with little solid evidence.

    • AmericaTheBeautiful
    • VTX, bravo to your posts. I hope you’re correct and Intel will manage the traitors.

      Please comment….

      Petraeus? Traitor or not.

      John Brennan traitor?

      Panetta traitor?

      Bernanke Traitor?

      Clintons traitor?

Know Obama, Jarrett are traitors indeed.

Who is our hope? Is there a patriot in the Administration…
      Bless you….God bless America I pray…

VTX What do you know about SCTYL SOE counting our vote?

      • VTX
      • My opinions only…

Petraeus is attempting to protect what hasn’t been ruined, same with Panetta; I would have once put Panetta on the dark side, but like a lot of people in his party, this has gone too far. Neither man, you might have noticed, was eager to jump up and push the company line (Rice’s talk show appearances were a vivid contrast with the two, who were apparently reluctant to pose for the pictures and play stooge.)

Bernanke? Remember the Sorcerer’s Apprentice? The Mickey Mouse version? He’s in over his head, has no mind for options and is lacking in judgement. Traitor? No. Boob?

Clintons: highest moles ever elected (until Obama,) but best at covering their tracks. Julius and Ethel Clinton won’t face the same fate.

        Brennan:
        Ugh. All bad.

        - It’s been said that he’s the actual Director of National Intel, and seeing Clapper’s remoteness from reality? Probably true. Something is amiss.

        - Looks like he’s the man who put the X-Box in the President’s hands. The use of drones is essential for the battlefield, and to use against high-priority targets (very high) but to put a killing machine in the hands of a spoiled lunatic?

        - I’m fearful of his Homeland Security advice he gives the President – or any advice at all; he’s a mirror of Chas Freeman. He calls Jerusalem al-Quds. He makes the unbelievable claim that Saudi Arabia is a protector of religious liberty! That’s incompetence. And perhaps worse.

        - Brennan should have been in the position to tell the President that it wasn’t a movie that was responsible for the Ambassador’s murder; if he’s an advisor, he should have sat President Jarrett and Obama and Clinton down and slammed the door shut and told them to stop making fools of themselves. If he didn’t, he’s like a silent fart: he who smelt it, dealt it. His idea; his authorship. Remember, he’s in charge of counter-intel. That includes disinformation.

        - He thinks Republicans (and all other critics) are only pushing certain issues for political gain – like the leaks. We’re losing ground daily, and he does what? Rips Republicans for partisanship? Eff that! We ain’t How-weird Dean! We aren’t traitors, using real national security issues for political footballs. That’s HIS buddies who do that! Obama. Jarrett. Hillary. Besides, if bankruptcy isn’t the GREATEST national security threat, what is? And he wants to start calling names?

        - As for security lapses: what can you say when safe houses aren’t safe? His problem.

        - Brennan also refuses to use the word “jihadist,” preferring the word “extremist.” Oh, right: those of us who hang an American flag in front of our homes and offices have been declared “extremists,” too, thus making us the equivalent of suicide bombers who act in the name of their prophet! On that mark alone, I would remove him to a safe place where he can’t do harm to himself – no small toys that can be swallowed when he puts them in his mouth.

        - On a professional level: he is bad with operatives, whom he first praises, then undercuts. Bad management. Very bad.

        - He wants to prosecute leakers, but he won’t say a damn thing about Obama’s open-air leaks, and the failures that cost a Pakistani doctor his life (30 years in a Pakistani prison is a death sentence.)

I won’t answer the question about his patriotism. My conclusion about Brennan is that he resembles Swift’s “A Satirical Elegy on the Death of a Late Famous General.” A line worth noting: “Ye bubbles raised by breaths of kings…”

Don’t know enough about the vote counting system to make a comment. I’m not a fan, but that’s my gut. If Obama is reelected,

        • AmericaTheBeautiful
        • Thanks VTX …your insights are must reads.
It seems perhaps Petraeus is the last string cobbling things together. My hope there is actually one left at the gate in this administration. My gut tells me not to trust Panetta …long considered a communist by many but certainly more wiley than most. As such, during the OBL events with the JC’s he would know how to play it….and he is not a Muslim– thus not fraught with duelling allegiances. Things are so much more streamlined in DC these days if one is simply a traitorous communist unencumbered by being a Mohammadan too. s/off

Brennan wouldn’t prosecute any if they too are jihadists. How else to explain the NS leaks? Even Wikileaks…Donilon isn’t out there on his own…he is working with a team of various players working for the same end game. HS and the 923 Executive Orders implemented by Brennan are evil. Regardless where his orders originate…Satire aside–his rebuke, will be our rebuke. The more things change, the more they remain the same ‘eh?

Bernanke seems explainable to me only when looked at through the prism of Robert Rubin….Goldman’s globalist agent working for the IMF and Goldman’s globalist agenda. Perhaps a boob but he appears the shallow soldier taking direction.

This piece, looking back ..Rubin forecasted what was coming. Should have read ” Bernanke Given His Marching Orders “. Rubin rides the inner circle. From ’07

          Robert Rubin Echoes Bernanke

          MoneyNews
          Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke has found some strong support for his fears of a looming fiscal crisis from an unlikely source: Bill Clinton’s Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin.
Bernanke is a Republican and Bush administration appointee.

In January, Rubin appeared on PBS’s “Charlie Rose” television show, and made some surprising comments — comments I believe should have made major headlines in the business news sector.

Rubin told Rose that the U.S. faces “excruciating decisions” regarding what he sees as an increasingly unsound economy. In his wide-ranging Jan. 22 interview with PBS’s Rose, Rubin asserted that this country is on the “wrong track on almost every front.” Among Rubin’s key points:

Average Americans are facing a troubling “economic insecurity.”

Rubin: “I think we face [huge] challenges. I think we can do very well in what is really a transformed global economic environment with the rise of China and India. But . . . I think we’re on the wrong track on almost every front right now, regardless of how you allocate the political responsibility, and what I’d like to see the new Congress do — and I think they’ve gotten off to a very good start in this respect — is to address those challenges.

“I think we’ve got to re-establish sound fiscal conditions . . . so we have an environment conducive to growth, and also to avoid the dangers that, as [Federal Reserve Chairman] Ben Bernanke said very recently in his congressional testimony, [underlie] unsound fiscal conditions. I think that’s a tremendous threat to the global economy. To our economy and the global economy . . .

“We’re still the leader in the world — but our relative gap over others is beginning to diminish for all kinds of reasons.”

[Editor's Note: A 2007 global recession is in the cards. Here`s how to position yourself now for monster profits before the panic headlines begin. ]

The U.S. needs a strong dollar or else “something is going to give” — and that something could include an adjustment of the dollar.

Rubin: “I don’t really think there’s too many question about this — a strong dollar grounded in strong policy is very much in our country’s interest, because [of] the exchange rate. Remember — the exchange rate between the dollar and other currencies is basically a way of expressing the rate at which we take our goods and services and exchange them for the goods and services of other people of other countries. And the more . . . goods and services we can get for the ones that we give, the better off our standard of living will be. Therefore, a strong dollar is very much in our interest . . .

“I think the dollar will do what it wants to do . . . If the current account deficit doesn’t change, then at some point something is going to have to give. It seems to me that it’s very likely there’s going to have to be an adjustment of the dollar. The way to minimize the adjustment that you need is to have sound policy.”

Entitlements are a “fiscal problem” that must be dealt with.

Rubin: “Entitlements are a problem not because people shouldn’t be getting benefits, but because it creates very large fiscal issues. Once you recognize it to be a fiscal problem, then it seems to me what you should do is set up some kind of process, whatever it is, where everything is on the table. And it’s not just the entitlements that are on the table, it’s also our whole tax regime . . .

“What I think is that the president of the United States, the leaders of both parties, and the leaders of both Houses should set up a special process of some sort in which everything is on the table: revenues, spending, and federal programs including all the entitlements. And then they should take joint political accountability for what, Charlie, are going to be excruciatingly difficult political choices. And I have an instinct that our political process isn’t going to be able to make the tough decisions we need to make.”

[Editor's Note: Profit From the Baby Boomer Crisis.]

Our litigation system is broken and needs substantial overhaul to reign in costs and attract investments from aboard.

Rubin: “I believe we have to reform our litigation system . . . We have a system that is vastly more expensive for business and for economic activity with respect to litigation costs than the system in any other market-based economy in the world. Or I suspect any other economy in the world, actually. And it seems to me that what we need to do is have a litigation reform that will continue to give those who have been damaged the opportunity to get redress and appropriate redress, but doesn’t have the enormous excesses that we have in today’s system.”

China and India on the Rise

Rubin and Rose also discussed the rise of China and India.

Rose: “[Rubin's Deputy Secretary] Larry Summers was right about a year ago when he gave a speech in which he said the rise of China and India is probably the most significant change in the global economic environment since the emergence of the United States over 100 years ago, and arguably even since the industrial revolution . . .

“But as you well know, they have big problems too . . . India, [has] a huge infrastructure problem. They have problems of what to do with the rural poor. In China [it's] the same thing. There is a huge environmental issue for them . . .”

Rubin: “Those two countries I actually know a little bit about. I even had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with private and public sector leaders from both countries.

“Last year my wife and I were in India . . . The prime minister invited us for lunch, because we know him from when he was finance minister. They have tremendous challenges, huge challenges; but every time I meet with the public and private sector leaders from those two countries, the sense I come away from with is that these people recognize their problems and they are committed to addressing them.”

Rubin also said the financial capital of the world may be shifting from New York to London due to regulatory pressures in the U.S. He noted: “IPOs aren’t being done in this country . . . Our whole litigation regime causes companies not to want to go public here.”

Surprisingly, Rubin has yet to endorse Sen. Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination for president in 2008, even though she was first lady during Rubin’s tenure as Treasury secretary.

He had this to say, however, about Hillary’s likely chief rival for the nomination, Sen. Barack Obama: “I think very well of Obama. I knew Hillary a lot better. I know Obama pretty well too, actually.”

    • The Naked Communist

The Naked Communist is a book written in 1958 by conservative United States author and faith-based political theorist Cleon Skousen.[1]

The book posits and seeks to describe a geopolitical strategy by which the Marxist–Leninist Soviet Union was attempting to overcome and control all the governments of the world that were not members of the Communist bloc.

The list of communist goals contained in the book was read into the Congressional Record by U.S. Congressman Albert S. Herlong, Jr. of Florida, on January 10, 1963.[3]

      List of Communist goals

The following is the list of Communist goals contained in The Naked Communist:[3]

U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

Develop the illusion that total disarmament by the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces.

Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

Do away with all loyalty oaths.

Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

Gain control of all student newspapers.

Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.

Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”

Control art critics and directors of art museums.

Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.”

Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”

Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture—education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand or treat.

Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity, masturbation and easy divorce.

Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use “united force” to solve economic, political or social problems.

Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

      Internationalize the Panama Canal.

Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over nations and individuals alike.

      • Santilli? Really? The one who uses the words “neocons” as the epithet for which it is intended? And according to the post, he’s seeking protection from…the Russians? Uh…no.

Hillary isn’t doing the finagling. Not as much as, say, Brennan. The fact that she had to repeat what he told her and the others likely means that she’s as much a dupe as Rice, not an instigator.

WWIII may begin in a variety of places, but the situation is similar to pre-WWI, with the most likely spot this time being Jordan, with the loss of a royal family member yet-to-come by a Palestinian jihadist. Jordan is pivotal in many ways, most of all the fact that it is capable of keeping herself out of armed conflict, and has a fairly solid relationship with Israel AND others.

As reluctant as I am to use Wikipedia, this list of elements that led to WWI is both comprehensive and similar to the situation in the East

“Some of the most important long term or structural causes are:

        - “The growth of nationalism across Europe” (subsitute Middle East)
        - “Unresolved territorial disputes” (Iraq, Iran, Turkey, the Kurds, Israel, Egypt, Syria…)
        - “Intricate system of alliances” (Iran and Turkey, but now Turkey and Syria pulling apart and shelling one another..the list is too long to even begin)
        - “The perceived breakdown of the balance of power in Europe” (Arab Spring, Libya, Egypt)
        - “Misperceptions of intent – e.g., the German belief that the United Kingdom would remain neutral[11][12]” (Obama leads the way in this: the coming Iranian war with Israel, and Iran’s belief that the US will remain neutral because of assurances by Obama etc)
        - “Convoluted and fragmented governance” (Arab Spring, again, and the loss of key leaders in the region who knew their way around)
        - “Delays and misunderstandings in diplomatic communications” (no need for comment)
        - “Arms races of the previous decades” (Russia, China, US, Syria, Israel, Iran, Turkey, Egypt…)
        - “Previous military planning[13]” (in this case, recent wars and the abandonment of practice and theory, along with presently confused directives)
        - “Imperial and colonial rivalry for wealth, power and prestige” (oil and Islamism)
        - “Economic and military rivalry in industry and trade – e.g., Pig War (Serbia) and Europe” (Russia, China, Iran, US, bankrupt Europe)

Jordan doesn’t deserve this, but they’re possibly the only spot that isn’t in the middle of self-immolation. Comparatively, it’s a garden spot. But when delicate flesh bleeds, it floods or becomes infected. It’s like when a vulture picks the backside of a calf.

Santilli is a flagbearer – a real false flagbearer.

    • Obama’s election-eve deal with Iran

      Joseph Farah
      wnd.com

Last Thursday, WND broke the stunning news that Barack Obama’s administration offered a secret election-eve deal to Iran that would result in reduced sanctions in exchange for a phony diplomatic coup designed to bolster his vote Nov. 6.
The report is based on hard intelligence gathered by Reza Kahlili, the highly esteemed former CIA spy inside the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and counterterrorism expert.
It was a big story – one the major media, and even most of the so-called alternative media, ignored.
Of course, hundreds of thousands of Americans read the report in WND – which may be enough to ensure Obama cannot get away with an “October Surprise” in which he announces dramatically that his administration has successfully persuaded Iran to suspend uranium enrichment in its effort to develop a nuclear weapons arsenal… READ IT ALL HERE: http://jillosophy.blogspot.com/2012/10/obamas-election-eve-deal-with-iran.html

That might be credible – Saudi Arabia has nuclear reactors, as does Japan (mostly ofline presently) – but for the Iranians’ continued provocations and pronouncements against Israel, calling for her decimation. I suspect that this latest offer is merely posturing, a delay-tactic, but also a gambit to attempt to reduce or eliminate Israel’s nuclear arsenal.

          • This is likely to be Obama’s plan – Iran lets him off the hook, peace is everywhere, life is lovely, there’s a chicken in everybody’s pot and Spring is here forevermore! The messiah-Obama, the bringer of peace, love and rock and roll!

What do we do when everyone is saying “shit happens,” and then it does?
