The details of the September 11 attack that killed four Americans at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi are still murky and there’s certainly more to be known.
Former CIA officer Clare Lopez argues that the “key issue is the relationship of the U.S. government, Ambassador Christopher Stevens and the U.S. diplomatic mission in Libya with Al Qaeda.”
That relationship, Lopez argues, could be connected to the rise of Islamic brigades in Syria, who recently created a “Front to Liberate Syria” to wage jihad against the Syrian regime and turn the country into an Islamic state.
That potential connection starts with who Ambassador Stevens worked with during the Libyan revolution and ends with who he hosted on the night of his death.
In March 2011 Stevens became the official U.S. liaison to the al-Qaeda-linked Libyan opposition and began coordinating U.S. assistance to the rebels.
The top military commander of the rebels, Abdelhakim Belhadj, was the leader of the pro-al-Qaeda Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG).
After Gaddafi fell the LIFG disbanded and some of the fighters joined the amorphous group Ansar al-Shariah (Soldiers of Shariah), which reportedly participated in the attack that took Stevens’ life.
In November 2011 The Telegraph reported that Belhadj, acting as head of the Tripoli Military Council, “met with Free Syrian Army [FSA] leaders in Istanbul and on the border with Turkey” in an effort by the new Libyan government to provide money and weapons to the growing insurgency in Syria.
Last month The Times of London reported the a Libyan ship “carrying the largest consignment of weapons for Syria … has docked in Turkey.” The shipment reportedly weighed 400 tons and included SA-7 surface-to-air anti-craft missiles and rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs).
Those heavy weapons are most likely from Muammar Gaddafi’s stock of about 20,000 portable heat-seeking missiles—the bulk of them SA-7s—that the Libyan leader obtained from the former Eastern bloc.
Reuters reports that Syrian rebels have been using those heavy weapons to shoot down Syrian helicopters and fighter jets.
The ship’s captain was ”a Libyan from Benghazi and the head of an organization called the Libyan National Council for Relief and Support,” which was presumably established by the new government.
That means that Ambassador Stevens had only one person—Belhadj—between himself and the Benghazi man who brought heavy weapons to Syria. (The official U.S. stance is that it is opposed to providing Syrian rebels with heavy weapons.)
Furthermore, we know that jihadists are the best fighters in the Syrian opposition, but where did they come from?
Last week The Telegraph reported that a FSA commander called them “Libyans” when he explained that the FSA doesn’t “want these extremist people here.”
So this much is fairly certain: Libya has been sending seasoned Islamic fighters, heavy weapons and presumably money to Syria in support of the opposition.
The uncertain part is where Stevens, and the U.S. government, fits into all of this.
If the new Libyan government was sending jihadists and 400 tons of lethal cargo to Syria through a port in southern Turkey—a deal brokered by Stevens’ primary Libyan contact during the Libyan revolution—then the governments of Turkey and the U.S. surely knew about it.
Reuters reported that satellite photos exposed a CIA post in Benghazi, located 1.2 miles from the U.S. consulate, was used as “a base for, among other things, collecting information on the proliferation of weaponry looted from Libyan government arsenals, including surface-to-air missiles” … and that its security features “were more advanced than those at rented villa where Stevens died.”
We also know that about a dozen CIA operatives and contractors left the Benghazi base after it was exposed. Could these two CIA groups be connected as start and end points to help funnel heavy weapons to the Syrian opposition?
We know that the CIA has been funneling weapons to the rebels in southern Turkey, but CNN reports that FSA members are “cutting their own deals to get weapons” from well-armed extremists so it raises questions about who the CIA is arming.

Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely reveals name of leader who authorized operation
The decision to raid Osama bin Laden’s compound in Pakistan and kill him was made without President Obama – and actually was kept from him until after the helicopters already were in Pakistani airspace – according to a new report from a retired major general who cites a senior intelligence source.
The raid was handled by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Director of Central Intelligence Leon Panetta and others in this way because Obama had vetoed multiple earlier opportunities to attack the man behind the 9/11 terror attacks, the report said.
The report comes from U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely, who retired in 1993 as deputy commanding general, Pacific Command, and has served as a senior military analyst for Fox News. He is now chairman ofStand Up America, which calls itself the standard bearer for the conservancy of the U.S. Constitution.
The group has briefed the FBI, Congress, law enforcement and other agencies on terrorism and “anything that affects the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness of our citizenry and way of life.”
In a column published today by WND, Vallely said a “senior and sensitive intelligence community source” affirmed to a Stand Up America research team that Obama “did not know of the raid in Abbottabad to kill Osama bin Laden on May 1, 2011, until after the helicopters with SEAL Team 6 had crossed into Pakistani airspace.”
The source said Obama was notified “at the golf course … which is why he was sitting in the strange sitting position in the picture that documented the White House operations room event.”
The source told Stand Up America that Panetta “was the key player who organized and supported this daring raid.”
“He signed the ‘execute orders’ with only a few people aware: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, Adm. Bill Mullen and Gen. David Petraeus.”
The source explained the White House “was closed out of the decision because the president, through Valerie Jarrett, had turned down two or three other earlier proposals.”
Panetta, Vallely’s source reported, “and his covert planning team were extremely frustrated at all the denials, so saw the opportunity slipping away, as implausible as it seems.”
The report said Panetta convinced his other principals to make the decision and received their full-fledged support but the president, according to the official, “remained clueless on the mission.”
“This tremendously serious and sensitive information was relayed by a source who has been very frustrated with the continued dishonesty within the White House,” Vallely reported.
Vallely, who served in Vietnam and retired in 1991 from the U.S. Army as deputy commanding general for the Pacific, previously has called for “We the People” to stop the nation’s “progressive socialist, treasonous death march.”
He graduated from West Point and was commissioned in the Army in 1961. He served in theaters in Europe and the Pacific Rim and saw two tours of combat duty in Vietnam.
CBS has reported that “Obama’s decision to send operatives after Osama bin Laden” was described by White House counter-terrorism adviser John Brennan as “one of the most gutsiest calls of any president.”
However, the Mail Online in London reported a book by Richared Miniter documented that three “kill” missions were canceled by Obama in January, February and March of 2011.
The SEAL mission was in May 2011.
Miniter reported it was Jarrett who kept urging Obama to cancel plans to get bin Laden.
The Ulsterman Report blog earlier said Obama did not make the attack decision.
That blog said, “He can say he did and the people who really know what happened are inside the Pentagon, are in the military and the military isn’t allowed to speak out against the commander-in-chief so his secret is safe.”

If the president really wants to level with the American people, here are some questions he needs to answer.
1. Were there references to Libyan security threats in the President’s Daily Brief (PDB) during the three weeks before the attacks in Benghazi?
2. If there were, did President Obama participate in an intelligence briefing after the Libya threat was raised in the PDB?
3. Did President Obama ask his CIA briefer about threats in Libya during the three weeks before the attacks?
4. Were Libyan security threats discussed in any daily intelligence briefing that President Obama did not attend?
5. How many morning intelligence briefings did President Obama participate in during the month prior to the Benghazi attack?
6. Did any other governments or liaison intelligence services warn us about threats in Libya in the days before the attack in Benghazi?
7. Did any of the communications from intelligence officials in Libya on September 10 include discussions of threats to the consulate in Benghazi or other U.S. interests? Will the administration make those communications available?
8. The State Department’s timeline notes that Ambassador Stevens, who participated in meetings around Benghazi on September 10, was instructed to remain in the Benghazi compound on September 11, the day of the attack? Why? Were there specific threat warnings?
9. Did any intelligence product—raw or finished—include detailed reporting on any protest outside the compound in Benghazi before the attack began?
10. If not, why did administration officials repeatedly mention alleged protests? Where did those claims originate?
11. A senior administration official told the Washington Post on September 13 that the compound in Benghazi featured a “robust American security presence.” Does the White House stand by that assessment?
12. Why did U.N. ambassador Susan Rice, who has no direct involvement in the Libya attacks and no special intelligence knowledge on Libya, appear on multiple TV shows on September 16 to claim that spontaneous protests over the video led to the attack? Was Secretary Clinton or some other high official asked to represent the administration, before Rice was sent out instead?
13. Did James Clapper, the director of national intelligence and CIA director David Petraeus clear Susan Rice’s talking points? If not, who did?
14. A September 28 statement from Clapper’s office claiming that administration talking points had come from the intelligence community was not signed by Clapper. Why not?
15. Who was on the interagency phone call on Saturday, September 15, to prepare Rice for her TV interviews?
16. Did Rice talk to any senior Obama campaign advisers before she spoke for the administration?
17. Is there any intelligence product—raw or finished—that links the attacks in Benghazi to the anti-Islam YouTube video?
18. If not, why did President Obama himself make a direct link between the film and the attack during his September 18 appearance on the David Letterman show?
19. Will the White House release unclassified versions of the PDBs and Daily Threat Briefs for the three weeks before the Benghazi attack?
20. Will President Obama ever hold a news conference to address these and other unanswered questions about the attacks in Benghazi?
That makes 20 questions for the president, but this is no parlor game. Four lives were lost, and the credibility of the administration is at stake.

During the Congressional Investigation Ms. Lamb said she watched a live feed of the Benghazi Attack for 6hrs!!
1). Why was the “Drone Satallite” operating in Benghazi at the time of the Attack??……. (Coincidence or planned to watch the attack??)
2). Who else in the Administration was watching this live Feed for 6 hours??
3). Why were no planes “activated” to go to the Aid of Ambassador Stevens, Glen Doherty, Sean Smith and Tyrone Woods during this Attack??……. (Look at the blood stains on the walls… these men were brutally murdered & nothing is being done about it!!)
There have been several people on the internet saying that this may have been a “Staged Attack” by the Obama Administration to either:

The chairman of the House Armed Services Committee is demanding answers from four senior United States military officers about whether there was advance warning of terrorist threats and the need for greater security prior to last month’s terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
However, an aide to the chairman, Rep. Howard “Buck” McKeon, (R., Calif.), said the office of secretary of defense Leon Panetta blocked the senior officers from providing the answers last night.
“The chairman is disappointed that the administration won’t respond to this basic request for information,” the aide said.
“It is nearly unprecedented that the office of the secretary of defense would prohibit a member of the uniformed military from answering direct questions posed by the chairman of the House Armed Services Committee.”
Pentagon spokesman George Little told the Free Beacon: “We received the letters last night and are working expeditiously to provide a response.”
The chairman’s letters are dated Thursday. They were sent to Gen. Carter F. Ham, commander of the U.S. Africa Command, which is responsible for military activities in Africa; Adm. William H. McRaven, commander of the U.S. Special Operations Command; Vice Adm. Kurt W. Tidd, director for operations at the Pentagon’s Joint Staff; and Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn, director of the Defense Intelligence Agency.
McKeon asked the officers to provide answers to questions about security threats by the close of business Friday.
The questions reveal that there may be information within the military revealing warnings about terrorist threats and the need to increase security that were ignored by the State Department or other civilians within the Obama administration.
McKeon asked each of the four officers in separate letters whether prior to the Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi anyone under their command had notified the State Department or other agencies about growing dangers in Libya.
“Given the steadily deteriorating threat environment in Libya prior to Sept. 11, 2012, did you or anyone in your command advise, formally or informally, that the Department of State or any other agency take action to increase security for U.S. personnel in Libya?” McKeon asked.
He also wants to know if there were any requests to increase security in Libya for U.S. personnel.
Also, the letters to the four officers asked whether any military officers under their command had recommended “deployment of additional U.S. military forces to Libya due to the threat environment.”
Other questions focused on determining if the officers were aware that officers under their command recommended increasing security in Libya prior to the deadly attack on the consulate that killed Amb. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.
“To your knowledge, has the Department of State or any other federal agency requested additional U.S. military forces to augment security for U.S. personnel in Libya?” McKeon asked.
Since the attack took place five weeks ago, McKeon said he wanted answers by the close of business Friday.
The committee aide said the chairman also had asked for a briefing on events leading up to the attack, and so far the Pentagon has failed to provide the briefing.

McKeon sent the letter as a supplement to an earlier letter to President Obama sent by McKeon and seven other House Committee chairmen, which sought details on the intelligence leading up the attack, security for personnel, and the role played by former Guantanamo detainees in the attack.
The House leaders said in that Sept. 25 letter that administration statements attributing the attack to protests spawned by an anti-Muslim film disturbed them. They emphasized that the consulate murders were “a terrorist attack.”
“Decades after al Qaeda attacked our embassies in East Africa, which catalyzed a series of events that led to the attacks of 9/11, it appears they executed a highly coordinated and well-planned attack against us again,” the Sept. 25 letter states.
“Clearly the threat from al Qaeda and affiliated groups has metastasized; yet we do not appear to be learning from the past.”
The House leaders said it appears the administration has reverted to a past policy of treating terrorism as a criminal matter “rather than also prioritizing the gathering of intelligence to prevent future attacks.”

We are a Special Forces family. Our son is a pilot. In fact this week we leave for Anaheim, California, where our son, Major Ben Gunn, will be awarded the Gen Paul K Carlton award for bravery in battle.
We in the military community have sat quietly watching the debacle transpiring in Washington, as everyone passes the buck on the killing of Americans in Libya. The aspect that turns our hearts and stomachs is the fact President Obama’s people watched the attack for 5-6 hours and never “called in the Cavalry.”
My husband was the Calvary, the Air Cavalry; he fought in Vietnam and still defends us.
Benghazi is a port city. Why did folks not call in the Navy or Air Force for air strikes, or drones, or… I could go on and on. They just sat and watched while brave men died.
You don’t leave brave Americans to die and sit on your hands and do nothing. You just don’t.
Now watching this debacle being covered up, just how safe do you, the average American feel, now that you have seen how this President cares for those he has taken an oath to serve and protect?

It seems you can be zapped by a drone, merely by being in the vicinity of a target. So where was the drone’s weapons during the Benghazi terror attack–THAT would have been a worthwhile attack. And now I wondering if those people had their cell phones on them and whether they were suing them to call “command centre” in the US–I mean there was so much noise going on, it would not have had to be by stealth. Last week, Reza Kahlili, a former Revolutionary Guard member wrote that Iran had reached a deal with the Obama Administration to preserve portions of its nuclear program.
Hossain Ebrahimi told reporters yesterday that Obama sent the regime a secret message.
On Saturday, the Iranian regime confirmed this report.
The Iranian regime revealed on Saturday that the Obama Administration sent them a secret message through the Swiss Embassy recognizing their nuclear rights. The Swiss government, acting through its Embassy in Tehran, serves as protecting power for U.S. interests in Iran.

Senior Iranian parliamentary sources revealed on Saturday that the Swiss envoy to Tehran has quoted US President Barack Obama as acknowledging Iran’s nuclear rights.
Swiss Ambassador to Tehran Livia Leu Agosti attended a meeting with senior Iranian foreign ministry officials a few days ago to submit a letter from the US president to Tehran leaders.
Vice-Chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Hossein Ebrahimi told FNA that during the meeting, Agosti had told the Iranian officials that President Barack Obama recognizes Iran’s right of access and use of the nuclear technology.
“There are a couple of points with regard to this (US) message (to Iran),” Ebrahimi said and added, “Firstly, during the session to submit the message, the Swiss ambassador to Tehran quoted the US president as saying that ‘we (the US) recognize your nuclear rights’.”
As regards the second issue, the lawmaker said that the Swiss diplomat had also quoted Obama as saying that “I didn’t want to impose sanctions on your central bank but I had no options but to approve it since a Congress majority had approved the decision.”
Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehman-Parast said on Sunday that Iran has received a US message regarding the Strait of Hormoz via three different channels.
“The US Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice had handed a letter to Iran’s Ambassador to the UN Mohammad Khazayee; the Swiss Ambassador to Tehran (Livia Leu Agosti) also conveyed the same thing; and Iraqi President Jalal Talabani delivered the same message to Iranian officials,” he said last Sunday.
The US letter follows threats by Iran last month to shut off the Strait of Hormoz – the world’s most important oil shipping lane – if new US and EU sanctions over its nuclear program halted Iranian oil exports.

This is still confusing about OBL. That video by Trevor Loudon was great I thought in giving a good summary of what has happened and the dangers. In my opinion, Ulsterman presents a MINIMUM of advertisements. Would you prefer no ads but you donate to keep the site going?
Aside from the content here, the factor I most appreciate is the layout’s cleanness. No clutter. The page design approaches Art Deco.
Also, the body text is clear, very readable, sans serif. And UM inserts two spaces (a nonbreaking space and a regular space) between each sentence. Those double spaces speed up reading while cutting way down on misreading. Have you found any other blogger who takes such care?

I couldn’t help but think that Ozero looked ridiculously hawkish or something (not to malign the dignity and fierceness of such creatures) with his head jerking about when listening to Romney speaking. The hubby and I had a good laugh over that, though.
At times I was frustrated when there seemed obvious openings for Romney to bring up things or to respond more strongly to Ozero’s attempts to make him look stupid, and he didn’t take them. We’ve seen he can obviously do so when it suits him, so I had to content myself that his demeanor was part of his strategy. Glad the debates are over, because that was more of watching Odingdong then I could stand!

New question arises: according to the article, Obama directly sent Stevens to Benghazi. Clear enough. Was the drone to make sure he obeyed orders, or was it used to direct the terrorists? Sure as hell wassn’t there to protect him! The attackers seemed to know where to go; did they have a sat uplink? Methinks it were so.
One reason (among others) I suspect this is because Stevens used the words “Islamic extremist” and similar words repeatedly in communiques; it’s likely that he had harsher things to say about the Islamofascists in private, and had enough knowledge to be dangerous to the administration. He wouldn’t have missed that opportunity, if it were given to him – if he wanted Stevens to come out alive. Stevens was David Koresh, this time unvilified.
I may be stubborn, but I think the Ambassador was part of the Spielberg/Weinstein production. Maybe not a movie about a kidnapping, but about getting back weapons systems? The difference between PT 109 and Missiles of October (both of which were exquisitely well done puff-pieces for Jack, especially considering that Jack should have been courtmartialled for the first and that he lost the second.) It’s gonna show up – the pieces are falling faster than Obama can hide them.

Go back to his Fathers’ Day speech as a candidate in 2008 when he warned America who he was: “When I was a young man, I thought life was all about me – how do I make my way in the world, and how do I become successful and how do I get the things that I want.” Obama was telling us then and now that he had a one-point plan. It was and is all about him to do whatever he wanted with the United States Constitution. But deep down he insists he must be stopped.
We can be certain that Obama’s guilt and anger will show up in similar ways in the third debate.”

Bay of Benghazi?
As I first detailed in my two previous reports, Lemmings at the Precipice of WWIII and Body of lies, from Barack to Benghazi, Barack Hussein Obama, it is becoming more apparent that Ambassador Christopher Stevens was involved in a CIA operation of the same magnitude as the Bay of Pigs, just not yet as visible. The actual story, however, is even bigger and even more deeply rooted in the “Obama agenda.” Ambassador Stevens is simply the most visible face of this covert CIA operation.
Based on my research and investigation, in addition to much assistance from a confidential source well-connected to the intelligence community, it is becoming clear Stevens was the “go-to” man on the ground for providing assistance to the “rebels” in Syria who are attempting to topple the Assad regime. This is the reason that he was at a CIA operational post in Benghazi on September 11, 2012 and not Tripoli, where the U.S. Embassy is located.
It appears that Stevens was working for the CIA under the direction of the Clinton State Department and the Obama administration to facilitate the transfer of weapons, including portable surface to air missiles from Libya to the rebels or freedom fighters in Syria. It is now being revealed that the weapons “confiscated” in Libya were being moved by the ton from Benghazi to outposts in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan for their eventual use by anti-Assad rebels. Syria’s Muslim Brotherhood play a role in the weapons distribution, while the “freight” is paid by Turkey, Qatar and most importantly, Saudi Arabia.
The amount of weapons is staggering. It is estimated that within the last year, between 30-40 million pounds of weapons were transported out of Libya. Considering that the U.S. and the intelligence agencies have had 24/7 surveillance over every inch of Libya, can anyone of reasonable sensibilities really contend that the U.S. was not aware of exactly who was smuggling weapons from Libya, if not directly involved in that activity?
Much like the Bay of Pigs, the CIA, under the direction of Obama, is deeply determined and extensively involved in overthrowing the Assad regime. Here we come back to the question of why? Is it for humanitarian purposes to free an oppressed people? No.

There are many lies being perpetuated by Obama, the Clinton State Department and even a complying and complicit media. There are also distractions being forced on the American public so that the truth can remain hidden, at least until certain objectives are accomplished. The most ludicrous of lies is blaming an obscure internet video for the attacks in Benghazi. . The attack was preplanned, was directed at a CIA operational post which was looted of all documents and materials before being destroyed by the attackers. Simply put, it was a professional “hit.”…
The issue of the “security failures” is also a bit of a lie. True, a security problem existed in Tripoli, not Benghazi, where “official” personnel were deliberately kept at a minimum to maintain operational security. To divert discussion to the issue of security of our diplomatic personnel is to intentionally divert attention away from the events taking place in Benghazi.
Furthermore, the brave men who died in the attacks were not part of Steven’s security detail. They were working under the direction of the State Department, ostensibly for the purpose of searching and destroying weapons left by the deposed Qaddafi. Based on information provided to me, they were collecting all of the working weapons, transporting those to Benghazi for transport to Derna, where they were to be shipped to locations in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan. The display of weapons being destroyed by these contractors in Libya was pure theater, as those were non-functional.
Additionally, there was never any kidnapping plot as part of an October surprise. So, what’s the larger picture?
Western media AWOL on arrests
Few Americans realize that two suspects in the murder of Ambassador Stevens and 3 other Americans were arrested in Istanbul, Turkey more than two weeks ago. Where is the U.S. media on this story?
Perhaps the media is absent because their arrest might lead to some very embarrassing facts. According to my intelligence source, the key leaders of the attack were speaking a foreign language identified as Persian. According to this intelligence source, the known escape route from Libya by foreign operatives would be through Turkey, into Syria and out to Iran, which is the exact route taken and intended. Identified as citizens of Tunisia, they were reportedly carrying false passports and spoke with a false accent, which was the initial reason they were detained. Further investigation, however, linked the two men to the attacks in Benghazi.

That relationship, Lopez argues, could be connected to the rise of Islamic brigades in Syria, who recently created a “Front to Liberate Syria” to wage jihad against the Syrian regime and turn the country into an Islamic state.
That potential connection starts with who Ambassador Stevens worked with during the Libyan revolution and ends with who he hosted on the night of his death.
In March 2011 Stevens became the official U.S. liaison to the al-Qaeda-linked Libyan opposition and began coordinating U.S. assistance to the rebels.

That particular quote of Ozero’s is still one of the creepiest things I’ve heard him say. Just reading it and knowing that it came out of the mouth of the President of the United States just makes me shudder.

Syrian Ambassador to Tehran Hamed al-Hassan said Turkey is hatching new plots in the Middle-East, specially in Syria, because it intends to revive the Ottoman Empire.
“Turkey is trying to reconstruct the Ottoman Empire in the region,” Hassan said at a conference on ‘Syrian Developments’ held at Tehran’s Sharif University of Technology on Monday.
“When Turkey’s Justice and Development Party won the Turkish parliamentary elections, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan presented his party’s victory to the people of Syria, Egypt, Morocco, Central Asia, and the Balkans which were once parts of the Ottoman Empire,” he noted.
Hassan said that Turkey has hatched and implemented plots in Syria despite the two countries’ previously good relations for the sake of the same goal.
“Turkey has embarked on hatching plots against Syria, while we (Syria and Turkey) had good relations in the past. Ankara and Damascus had signed cooperation agreements and planned to cancel visa formalities (for each other’s citizens). The volume of trade transactions between Turkey and Syria amounted to billions of dollars, but that country (Turkey) hatches plots against Syria,” he said, indicating that the seemingly contradictory decisions and actions of Ankara are in fact the result of the same aspirations of Turkey, i.e. reviving the ancient Ottoman empire.

At this point, take a few steps back and review the complete picture. Many astute people continue to search for answers about Barack Hussein Obama – from his origins to his current agenda. One provides answers for the other. Motive, means and opportunity are an investigator’s trifecta for matching a crime with a suspect.
Despite his claims of transparency and after four years of holding the highest position in the free world, there continue to be a number of unanswered questions surrounding Obama’s past. His sudden rise from obscurity, his trip to Pakistan, his mother’s work in Indonesia, his step-father’s Muslim roots… there is a seemingly unending list of “coincidences” and curiosities surrounding Obama. Too many to include here, yet too important not to note.
The relationship between Obama and Saudi Arabia is not exclusive to this administration, however, and could very well be considered a continuity of agenda of certain previous administrations. The Bush administration is one example. Consider that the September 11, 2001 attacks happened on his watch. Out of nineteen reported hijackers, fifteen were Saudi nationals and money used for the attacks was traced to Saudi Arabia. Despite these facts, many prominent members from Saudi Arabia living or present in the U.S. were given the “royal treatment” in the week of the attacks, and were allowed to fly, without questioning, out of the U.S. This fact alone still angers many intelligence officials.
Is it possible that Obama represents a new but well planned chapter in U.S. and Saudi relations? Could it be that Obama was groomed and financed by the Saudis for just this moment in time? Is this all part of a larger, globalist plan that transcends political parties in the West and creates interesting alliances across the globe?
So many unanswered questions, yet few seem to be asking anything. Meanwhile, the entire Middle East has been set afire, a new Ottoman empire or Islamic Caliphate is being constructed, and the continued course of action by Obama will likely result in the crossing of the red line, quickly ushering in World War III.

Lou Dobbs had Ed Klein on his tonight. Lou found it strange that there was not much talk of Benghazi in the debate and asked Klein what he thought about the absence of any mention of cabinet members and specifically Hillary. Lou said, “… a foreign policy debates, his Secretary of State nowhere in sight. What’s going on?”
Klein said, “She wasn’t mentioned. The Chief of Staff wasn’t mentioned. The National Security Adviser wasn’t mentioned. Nobody who had their fingers on things were mentioned.
“I think behind the scenes there’s a terrific battle going on between the Clintons and the Obamas about who’s going to take ultimate responsibility for this. Bill Clinton doesn’t want to see his wife scapegoated and tarnished because he intends to run her in 2016 [is she a horse?] as the Democratic nominee.
“I think she has told – I KNOW as a matter of fact, that she’s told her legal team that she has cable traffic proving that she was on the case, that she knew there was going to be a security problem in Benghazi and did something about it.”
Typical shameless selfish cya behavior, nevermind who may have died. How can she say she was “on the case,” as he put it, knew there would be trouble and did something about it, when she was out saying it was spontaneous and all because of a “disgusting” video (she probably never even saw the stupid thing), an obvious lie? President Obama’s once seemingly unstoppable march toward re-election hit what he might call “bumps in the road” in Benghazi, Libya, late on Sept. 11, 2012. It might be more accurate to describe the effect of the well-planned and -executed, military-style attack on a diplomatic facility there as the political equivalent of a devastating improvised explosive device on the myth of the unassailability of the Obama record as commander in chief.
Thanks to intrepid investigative reporting — notably by Bret Baier and Catherine Herridge at Fox News, Aaron Klein at WND.com and Clare Lopez at RadicalIslam.org — and information developed by congressional investigators, the mystery is beginning to unravel with regard to what happened that night and the reason for the subsequent, clumsy official cover-up now known as Benghazigate.
The evidence suggests that the Obama administration has not simply been engaging, legitimating, enriching and emboldening Islamists who have taken over or are ascendant in much of the Middle East. Starting in March 2011, when American diplomat J. Christopher Stevens was designated the liaison to the “opposition” in Libya, the Obama administration has been arming them, including jihadists like Abdelhakim Belhadj, leader of the al Qaeda franchise known as the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group.
Once Moammar Gadhafi was overthrown, Stevens was appointed ambassador to the new Libya run by Mr. Belhadj and his friends. Not surprisingly, one of the most important priorities for someone in that position would be to try to find and secure the immense amount of armaments that had been cached by the dictator around the country and systematically looted during and after the revolution.
One of the places in Libya most awash with such weapons in the most dangerous of hands is Benghazi. It now appears that Stevens was there — on a particularly risky day, with no security to speak of and despite now copiously documented concerns about his own safety and that of his subordinates — for another priority mission: sending arms recovered from the former regime’s stocks to the “opposition” in Syria. As in Libya, the insurgents are known to include al Qaeda and other Shariah-supremacist groups, including none other than Abdelhakim Belhadj.
Fox News has chronicled how the Al Entisar, a Libyan-flagged vessel carrying 400 tons of cargo, docked on Sept. 6 in the Turkish port of Iskenderun. It reportedly supplied both humanitarian assistance and arms — including deadly SA-7 man-portable surface-to-air missiles — apparently destined for Islamists, again including al Qaeda elements, in Syria.
What cries out for further investigation — and debate in the remaining days of this presidential election — is whether this shipment was part of a larger covert Obama effort to transfer weapons to our enemies that could make the Iran-Contra scandal, to say nothing of Operation Fast and Furious, pale by comparison.
Investigative journalist Aaron Klein has reported that the “consulate in Benghazi” actually was no such thing. He observes that although administration officials have done nothing to correct that oft-repeated characterization of the facility where the murderous attack on Stevens and his colleagues was launched, they call it a “mission.” What Mr. Klein describes as a “shabby, nondescript building” that lacked any “major public security presence” was, according to an unnamed Middle Eastern security official, “routinely used by Stevens and others to coordinate with the Turkish, Saudi and Qatari governments on supporting the insurgencies in the Middle East, most prominently the rebels opposing Assad’s regime in Syria.”
We know that Stevens’ last official act was to hold such a meeting with an unidentified “Turkish diplomat.” Presumably, the conversation involved additional arms shipments to al Qaeda and its allies in Syria. It also may have involved getting more jihadi fighters there. After all, Mr. Klein reported last month that, according to sources in Egyptian security, our ambassador was playing a “central role in recruiting jihadists to fight Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria.”
It gets worse. Last week, Center for Security Policy senior fellow and former career CIA officer Clare Lopez observed that there were two large warehouse-type buildings associated with the so-called “consulate” whose purpose has yet to be disclosed. As their contents were raided in the course of the attack, we may never know for sure whether they housed — and were known by the local jihadis to house — arms, perhaps administered by the two former Navy SEALs killed along with Stevens.
What we do know is that the New York Times — one of the most slavishly pro-Obama publications in the country — reported in an Oct. 14 article, “Most of the arms shipped at the behest of Saudi Arabia and Qatar to supply Syrian rebel groups fighting the government of Bashar Assad are going to hard-line Islamic jihadists, and not the more secular opposition groups that the West wants to bolster.”
In short, it seems President Obama has been engaged in gun-walking on a massive scale. The effect has been to equip America’s enemies to wage jihad not only against regimes it once claimed were our friends, but inevitably against us and our allies as well. That would explain his administration’s desperate and now failing bid to mislead the voters through the serial deflections of Benghazigate.
