Obama Actually Uses Own Campaign Slogan In Response To Hurricane Sandy – TWICE

In his declaration to have federal government officials “lean forward” in their response to the challenges of Hurricane Sandy, Barack Obama left no doubt the intent of his campaign to attempt to successfully politicize the hurricane to his campaign’s advantage – just as we were warned by Insider earlier today.

EXCERPT:

President Obama may have suspended his campaign rallies due to Hurricane Sandy, but he managed to squeeze in his campaign slogan — intentionally or not — during a briefing Tuesday with federal emergency officials.

“The president made clear that he expects his team to remain focused as the immediate impacts of Hurricane Sandy continue and lean forward in their response,” the White House said in a statement about Mr. Obama’s video-teleconference that he conducted from the White House Situation Room. “Forward” is the slogan of his re-election campaign.  LINK

_______________

And while “Forward” is Barack Obama’s official campaign slogan, “Lean Forward” is the public relations slogan used by MSNBC as well – the very organization Insider claimed the Obama team was closely coordinating a response to the hurricane with that would elevate Obama’s chances for election success while damaging those of Mitt Romney.

In addition to his morning teleconference, President Obama then made an unannounced trip to the national Salvation Army headquarters where he gave further comments outlining his own response to the disaster less than an hour ago where he again used the phrase “lean forward”.

We’re standing behind you, and we’re going to do everything we can to help you get back on your feet. earlier today I had a conversation with the governors and many of the mayors in the affected areas, including governor Christie, governor Cuomo and Mayor Bloomberg . I want to praise them for the extraordinary work they have done. you know, sadly we are getting more experienced with these kinds of big-impact storms along the east coast , and the preparation shows. Were it not for the outstanding work that they and their teams have already done and will continue to do in the affected regions, we could have seen more deaths and more property damage. So they have done extraordinary work working around the clock. the coordination between the state, local and federal governments has been outstanding.

Because of some of the work done ahead of time, we’ve been able to get over a thousand FEMA officials in place, prepositioned. we’ve been able to get supplies, food, medicine, water, emergency generators to ensure that hospitals and law enforcement offices are able to stay up and running as they are out there responding. We are going to continue to push as hard as we can to make sure that power is up throughout the region, and obviously, this is mostly a local responsibility and the private utilities are going to have it to lean forward. We are doing everything we can to provide them additional resources so that we can expedite getting power up and running in many communities.  LINK

Here were the comments of Insider, appearing to outline the very plans now unfolding by the Obama campaign  team:

Heard LaBolt is telling them all “We’re gonna shove this storm right up Romney’s ass.”  They already got scripts out to their media support.  Gonna hammer the governor on earlier statements he made about the role of the federal government, FEMA…

…That means these scripts, the plan, went out yesterday while the storm was hitting.  They were prepping this thing to turn it into something politically useful to Obama as people were dying.

F-ck all those pricks over at 3A and that c-cks-cker Phil Griffin.    LINK

    • Wow. That was fast! Thank you for explaining the 3A and Phil Griffin information from the Insider update. MSNBC. Now it makes more sense. And it also makes the president going out there today with all his “lean forward” talk that much more creepy and disgusting. WHI delivered the goods again. Guess I have to take back my saying I didn’t agree with him on this last update. Should have known better! LOL.

    • I think Romney is going to win and win big. My favorite graphic is the elephant stampede that often accompanies news articles at Breitbart, for it makes me smile every time I see it. The majority of people are good and see clearly what the people from the dark world are doing to our country. I just cannot see America going down without a fight for truth and justice.

Romney/Ryan for truth, justice, and a better tomorrow.

        Barry is such a loser.

Those who are still undecided one measly week from the election are not going to see ‘the person’ (if they’re in the storm-area and have electricity and bother to watch tv) saying, ” uuuh blah blah, blah, big disaster, more bad news; and Ah, BHO, will help you, just as I have all along. Blah, blah,” and then decide that yes, yes, what a great Preezey. Not going to happen.

Hawaii’s calling, Barry. Warm SANDY beaches. Lazy days, Barry, loungin’ around. You don’t really want to win, do you, Barry?

No, no you do not. It’s cold in D.C., Barry. Cold-blooded animals like you need the sun, Barry. Go, go soak it up.

    • Intentional or not???! OF COURSE it’s intentional – those are their basic tools to promote, deceive the people — words. Therefore, they think it will be helpful now. Wrong. I doubt if anyone even noticed. I almost feel sorry for them….so pathetic. I noticed this statement (at Breitbart):

“And we’re tougher because we pull together, we leave nobody behind, we make sure we responds as a nation and remind ourselves that whenever an American is in need, all of stand together to make sure we’re providing the help that’s necessary.”

That’s in there b/c of Bengahzigate of course. That won’t work either. More patheticness. No worries. All nonsense. Grasping at straws as usual.
When I posted on other thread that I didn’t agree with WHI – it wasn’t that I thought they wouldn’t do that. I expected that. No – I disagree with how he thought it would really hurt Romney, etc. Fox was still reporting about Benghazi today and I suspect will not “let it go”, as well as other Consv. media, etc. The Dems who were celebrating about the storm are stupid, among other negative descriptive terms, as we all should know by now – they don’t get it. We do. We win. Go Team, Go !!!!!

    • Reading those passages, the phrase “lean forward” sticks out like an oozing ball of pus. It makes no sense in the context in which it’s used. It’s a pure Hail Mary, desperation tactic by Obama to shoehorn it in those remarks. But it certainly does back up WHI’s claim that they were gonna shove it down Romney’s throat.

There is absolutely NOTHING Obama won’t politicize for his own benefit. The man truly has no limit to his ego, and not one bit of shame or humility. What a disgusting human being, and what a pathetic excuse of a president.

    • Libyan Leaks: Secret Document reveals Al-Qaeda ‘brother’ put in control of U.S. Embassy in Tripoli
A treasure trove of secret documents has been obtained by a Libyan source who says that secularists in his country are increasingly wanting to see Mitt Romney defeat Barack Obama on November 6th. This charge is being made despite Muslim Brotherhood losses in Libyan elections last July which resulted in victory for the secularists. One of those documents may help explain this sentiment.
It shows that in supporting the removal of Gadhafi, the Obama administration seemed to sign on to an arrangement that left forces loyal to Al-Qaeda in charge of security at the U.S. embassy in Tripoli from 2011 through at least the spring of 2012.

The National Transitional Council, which represented the political apparatus that opposed Gadhafi in 2011 and served as the interim government after his removal, made an extremely curious appointment in August of 2011. That appointment was none other than Abdel Hakim Belhaj, an Al-Qaeda ally and ‘brother’.

The nexus between Al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood comes into clearer focus when one looks at the Libyan Ambassador to the United States. His name is Ali Sulaiman Aujali. He had the following to say about Belhaj according to an ABC News report:

“(Belhaj) should be accept(ed) for the person that he is today and we should deal with him on that basis… people evolve and change.”

Really? How many times do westerners have to fall for this line before they trip over it?

In fact, about one month prior to Aujali’s vouching for Belhaj, he appeared at the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) convention. ISNA is a Muslim Brotherhood front group in America.

Aujali represents one individual who is willing to bridge the gap between Al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Now, fast forward to 9/13/12, two days after the attack in Benghazi. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton celebrated the Muslim Eid holiday in the Ben Franklin room in Washington, D.C. and shared a podium with none other than Ali Sulaiman Aujali and a woman named Farah Pandith, who is a prominent name inside the Muslim Brotherhood in America.

In 2009, Pandith was sworn in as a U.S. Representative to Muslim Communities by Hillary Clinton. Pandith followed the path of the first Muslim elected to the U.S. Congress and was sworn in on the Qur’an.

Another interesting alliance revealed itself in various cities across America in the days after the death of Ambassador Stevens. In at least both Los Angeles, CA and Columbus, OH the Libyan American Association aligned with CAIR to hold a vigil for Ambassador Stevens.

While in Jamaica in June of 2011, Hillary Clinton rhetorically asked:

…whose side are you on? Are you on Qadhafi’s side or are you on the side of the aspirations of the Libyan people…

At that very moment – and in light of the release of this secret document – the appropriate question would have been:

…whose side are you on? Are you on Qadhafi’s side or are you on the side of Al-Qaeda…

When put that way, Hillary’s position isn’t nearly as unassailable.
