WHITE HOUSE INSIDER: Obama Campaign Declares: “Gonna Shove This Storm Up Romney’s Ass”

According to a longtime D.C. political operative, the Obama campaign is thrilled at the timing of Hurricane Sandy and its resulting impact upon the election now just one week away.  **ADULT CONTENT**

(Will Hurricane Sandy deliver an election victory next week for Barack Obama?)

__________________________

Insider:  The impact of this g-damn storm could be a hell of a lot greater than just cleaning up the mess over the next few weeks.  It might leave us all with a real mess for the next four years.  Obama team very happy this storm hit when it did.  Media coverage 24/7 on the storm.  Romney campaign has to halt movement for 48 hours.  All that momentum we had on our side has been compromised.  Can’t say it any other way than that.  The storm bailed Obama out.  He has more of a chance of winning now than he did just a few days ago.  Not saying that is going to happen, but saying this latest 72 hour news cycle favors Obama over Romney and it has got me f-cking furious right now.

Benghazi is getting buried and I’m worried the attention span of the voters is already passing on that issue.  I know this because the attention span of some high profile names that were promising to make some real noise on the issue last week are now not returning messages.  They don’t want anything to do with it since the storm hit.  Where are the f-cking leaders on the Hill?  I am so godd-amn tired of dealing with these gutless pukes who can’t see past their own f-ucking political well being and stand up for once and do what is right.  Selling me down the godd-amn river again.  And again. And again.  One of these days.

And you want to know just how sick the Obama people are on the storm issue?  It’s party hats and cake over in Chicago.  High f-cking fives for them.  Heard LaBolt is telling them all “We’re gonna shove this storm right up Romney’s ass.”  They already got scripts out to their media support.  Gonna hammer the governor on earlier statements he made about the role of the federal government, FEMA, take things out of context and try and paint him as some uncaring assh-le at a time when the Romney campaign is limited in its ability to respond due to the temporary downtime during the recovery from the storm.  Media is already pushing the governor on it right now.  That means these scripts, the plan, went out yesterday while the storm was hitting.  They were prepping this thing to turn it into something politically useful to Obama as people were dying.

These are the motherf-ckers who want another four years to burn American to the ground.

F-ck LaBolt.  F-ck Obama.  F-ck all those pricks over at 3A and that c-cks-cker Phil Griffin.  F-ck the hurricane. F-ck Jarrett and her threats.  And f-ck Rahm too.  He knows better.  They all do.  Hillary.  Bill.  All of them.  You don’t try and manage evil.  These Obama motherf-ckers are evil.

So the governor can do his little sit quiet routine today.  But he better come out swinging hard tomorrow.  He better be ready  to push back against this bullsh-t.

These Obama  motherf-ckers are gonna steal this thing.  They think they got a shot now.

And if the voters aren’t paying attention and they get fooled again.  Well f-ck them too.  Obama and them deserve each other.  Stupid mother-f-ckers all of them.

Am I pissed?

Yeah, I’m pissed.  You should be too.  The whole f-cking country should be pissed at these pukes running America into the f-cking dirt.

    • This is a time to bring the anger and the vote together.

WHI underestimates the anger that vets feel – the betrayal. The Benghazigate issue is not going away, no matter how the election turns out.

      Romney 70-
      Obama 30

      • I don’t agree. I think he’s just very tactful about his attacks.

If you’re referring to the last debate, Romney’s angle was to go after the swing votes…brilliant, really.

          • P Walker
          • Ben Stein has been wailing and gnashing his teeth for most of this year . He’s far too pessimistic . Even though I read the Spectator every day , I’ve pretty much given up on him .

          • bill o'rights
          • I adore Ben Stein, but this “ain’t” 1979. The ‘Moderates’ are moderately further to the left than they were then. Many of them look a lot more like Democrats than Republicans, so they’re predisposed to give Obama the benefit of the doubt while looking at Romney with greater skepticism.

While Reagan needed only to overcome perceptions about his mental state and abilities, Romney has to paint himself as similar to Obama in many ways, but demonstrate a much greater level of competence.

The moderates and undecideds aren’t looking for fireworks, they’re looking for a logical reason to choose one candidate over another, in accordance with their own political views.

If you’re hard-core conservative, as I am, you were hugely disappointed by the third debate. On the other hand, the hard-core liberals were equally disappointed, assuming they were capable of pulling their heads out of their nihilistic firmaments long enough to admit the truth to themselves.

The third debate served one group and one group only…the moderates. And I feel strongly that Romney led Obama down the primrose path, in that regard.

            • Ben Stein thinks the only way to dig out of our debt is to RAISE taxes. Not just broaden the base but to raise EVERYbody’s taxes. Other than that I like him and respect most of what he says.

    • @ WHI…

I’m right there with you buddy.

When this thing hit, I knew it was going to be a huge freebie for these Black Jesus f-cks.

Keep at it man. We have to roll with the punches and get Benghazi back on the media map.

    • On the other hand, a lot of people on the east coast and in the midwest are trapped indoors because of the storm and watching TV. I’ve seen a few really great, really affective ads for Romney. My advice to the Romney Team is to flood the air waves with ads, especially ads where people seem worried about the future. It seems to fit the moment.

    • BigTexas
    • I think WHI is not just angry at the storm here or the Obama campaign taking advantage of it politically. It sounds like some people in Congress who were supposed to step forward on this Benghazi thing or some other scandal are now sitting back using the storm as their excuse to not do that. I am betting that puts WHI in a real bind. He sounds a little afraid here like he something happened he wasn’t prepared for. There is more here than meets the eye IMO.

    • RedDawn
    • I’ve read people saying that the hurricane only hit the east coast which is all Obama voters anyway so it won’t impact the election. Those people are idiots. Pennsylvania was in play. North Carolina, etc. Florida is very sensitive to hurricane issues and if the media paints Romney as an out of touch doesn’t give a crap about hurricanes guy it could influence a lot of votes around the country. Like a place like Ohio which is so close. So I’m totally getting WHI’s concerns here. He knows how this kind of thing can turn a close election. Now I’m worried too. Romney better have a plan.

    • Rebel Yell
    • UM,please make sure WHI is aware of this:
“They ignore the fact that President Barack Obama’s proposal for the upcoming budget sequester would cut nearly $900 million from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, including disaster relief, food and shelter, and flood management at both the federal and state levels.”
      http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/10/29/Obama-s-Sequester-Slashes-Funds-for-FEMA-Flood-Management

I do not agree with WHI that this will give Obama a big boost. Most of the areas most affected by the storm were already strong dark blue states- NJ, NY, CT and MD. I do not think a snow storm in West VA will shake many of those hardy folks who know how to handle such storms and do so every winter.

    • Spartan
    • Damn WHI then use the storm more to your advantage and compare the devastation of it to the four years we’ve dealing with Obama and his cronies! We have a LOT to clean up from this mess left by Obama. But Americans are resilient and with the right leadership in Romney, together we will overcome the devastation and REBUILD America!!!! Gawd man, we can’t have you throwing in the towel just yet! Get yourself together and start punching back! We’ve been here all along spreading the word with you! Go do what you do. We got your back. Trust us! We’ve trusted YOU!

      • AmericaTheBeautiful
      • Exactly Spartan, exactly….ad campaign comparing the devastating storm to Obama’s devastation…run a montage…devastation, Keystone, tuition, Education, costs of healthcare, American exceptionalism, the Middle East, trusted allies, busts sent to the UK, a devastated dollar, a printing press of dollars run wild, cost of gasoline, cost of groceries… end it with the images of the Seals who were betrayed in Benghazi and in Afganistan

        • SallyAl
        • NO, NO, NO!!!! Hate to disagree with my friends here, but I think comparing the jugeared jackass and his “policies” with the devastation of this storm would go totally against the grain of those who have lost a lot to the storm. They are going to be feeling hypersensitive right now and will think (at least I would) that politics is nothing like losing everything you own to a weather event. I just feel that is a very bad idea. MHO.

          • Spartan
          • Sally you don’t use the hurricane as a backdrop. You make the ‘impression’ of it. You combine all the green job failures, the bailouts, the foreign policy issues and the devastation of its failures by a guy who was NEVER prepared to deal with it. Then bring Romney in with his history of REBUILDING things. That’s a powerful message and gives the necessary impression needed.

    • We’ll see. The Obies have already burnt up the trust factor. Mitt’s out there collecting canned goods. Obama is fuming like a lunatic. Is that nothing? Maybe but the trends were already against him. But the Insider should be angry at his little self. You are shocked at Hillary and Bill? Are you joking? They’re better than Rahm and Obama? No, they are just as bad. And so are you. Yes, YOU. You are late to this party and we’re glad to have ya, for tactical reasons but this is exactly the sort of thing you have made your fortune on. You are disgusted at Obama and his media scum? You ARE those scum! Not were, you ARE. Unless and until you do a full scrub on Democrats at large including the Clintons and all your other little buddies and also YOURSELF, you are just shuckin’ and jivin’ as much as any of them. Confess your crimes with all the actors. That is your only route to be able to claim an ounce of decency and that ain’t happening, is it? So, you have made yourself useful for the moment. One cheer for you. Get back to work. But at root you are the same worthless treasonous traitorous self-serving sumbitch as Obama himself. Fact.

    • I think WHI isn’t giving the Romney campaign enough credit…..they know exactly what they’re doing and they are much smarter than the dimwits in the Obama campaign ie: Jarrett, Axelrod etc. Ye of little faith!

    • LM
    • My family is in NJ and I can tell you that none of them are changing their minds and will be voting enthusiastically for Romney. I totally disagree with WHI. It’s the economy… and people are terrified of the idea of four more years of the Jarrett/Axelrod/Obama machine. Romney is going to win this election.

    • “… gutless pukes … Selling me down the godd-amn river again. And again. And again. One of these days.”

Let ‘em have it, WHI Pow! right in the kisser – one of these days…

“It’s party hats and cake over in Chicago.” Well, they can enjoy their sick delusional little party now then, because this hurricane is not giving anybody amnesia. Leftist always revel in the misery of others, but they are not being seen as saviors here.

And just because Barry thinks he gets to stay home from school and watch cartoons doesn’t mean there won’t be a test next Tuesday.

    • Here is the money quote about why WHI seems so pissed off today,

“Where are the f-cking leaders on the Hill? I am so godd-amn tired of dealing with these gutless pukes who can’t see past their own f-ucking political well being and stand up for once and do what is right. Selling me down the godd-amn river again. And again. And again. One of these days.”

Sounds like some politicians got cold feet on holding Obamas feet to the fire over Benghazi and are using the storm as an excuse. I would be pissed off too. I think the whole house of WA DC needs to be cleaned out. They are all corrupt. Just about all of them anyways. Thats a big reason I like Romney. He is outside of WA DC. Just like Reagan was.

    • ShainS
    • The premise here is that the Obama camp believes the election to be close; fact is, it looks like Romney in a landslide — unless — Democrat vote fraud is so rampant in the swing states that Obama steals it.

If it ain’t close though, they can’t win — even by cheating …

P.S. – I don’t buy that there are so many “undecideds” at this point; likely former Obama voters or libertarian/conservative voters going for Romney (or most likely, against Obama) but unwilling to say so (whether just to screw with polling firms or to keep Romney from getting too far ahead/overconfident so that the race appears close and the Romney camp doesn’t let down at the end — but pushes hard through the finish line).

    • Perceptible Future
    • I’m jaded enough to believe Hurricane Sandy was a “Manufactured” storm. What was it Rahm Emanuel said: “Don’t let a good crisis go to waste”. Weather manipulation has been around since the late 50′s and just imagine how convenient this “Super Storm” has become that would knock the Benghazi massacre off the front pages.

Fortunately, there are enough good soldiers and intel operators willing to stand up and sound off over this to rub this piece of $hit POTUS’s nose in it. Taste it Bari, Taste the stench of your cowardly acts.

This ain’t going away A-Hole. You, your effing accomplices, and the rest of your cheer-leading Marxist Pressitutes will find yourselves either in prison or looking for new jobs.

As a former military serviceman assigned to a highly classified unit, I can assure you that the back chatter is very negative regarding your failure as a Commander-in -Chief. Many of the current and former operators I know have come to the conclusion that you failed them and therefore they cannot trust you to support them in any future mission that you might task them for, from this point forward.

You sir, have lost their support…

      • Kinikia
      • Perceptible Future…. I was thinking the same thing about the weather manipulation but had not said it out loud to anyone yet. I wouldn’t put anything past these evil b-st-rds.

I voted early today in Florida. Early voting started Oct. 26th here and the turnout has been incredible! The line to vote was extremely long. It took me about an hour from getting in line to actually voting. I truly believe that most there were on a mission to vote out the SOB. A man was there with a big sign stating that his son in the military can’t vote. He was yelling this at the top of his lungs to the people as they were getting in line. The man in front of me said that his son who is deployed had not gotten his ballot either and was unable to vote as well.

This is absolutely disgraceful and I believe that this issue has enraged and empowered veterans, mothers and fathers of active duty soldiers to speak out and persuade others to vote Hussein out. This is but one group that the one who calls himself Obama has alienated (Jews, Catholics, women who are not all about birth control and abortion, etc.)Even black Americans are beginning to feel taken for granted.

I just cannot imagine many dems being excited about getting out to vote for Obama. In fact here is a video run by Breitbart that shows blacks in the inner city of Chicago are finally fed up with dems and their promises to help them. Here is the video link:
        http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/10/26/Exodus-Inter-City-Blacks-Fleeing-Obama-Democrats

Another video that should be made to go viral.

        • LM
        • Kinikia, you’re right, the turnout is incredible here in FL. I voted on Sunday. Arrived at the polling place at 7:15 AM and waited in line for 3.5 hours. Someone working the election for a local county commissioner told us that the people who arrived at noon on Saturday, the first day of early voting, waited over 5 hours to vote.

          • Kinikia
          • LM – Wow, it’s great to hear that you had a similar experience. What part of Florida are you in? I’m in Central Fl. on the East Coast.

I just saw on Right Scoop that the latest poll by Gallup shows Republicans are ahead in early voting by +7 points (52-45) and it is sending shock waves through the Democrat Party because they always count on their advantage being in early voting.

          • bill o'rights
          • Voted yesterday…one more vote for Romney and against Black Stalin.

The turnout here in Naples is incredible! I waited until just before closing time last night, because it was so crowded, but it was still packed when I got there around 6:15!

Most everyone there was a huge Romney supporter, except for the couple in front of me who, I gathered were Obama supporters. They were notably silent while the rest of us discussed unseating the Marxist usurper.

I was tempted to drag them out of the line and tie them down until after the polls closed…

            Is that wrong?

            : )

            • It was probably the couple who came knocking on the door of one of my units I was working on, and to who, upon seing their Obama buttons, I gave 3 seconds to leave my property, before they could even open their mouths.

They were so shocked. They left in complete disarray, and frustration when I told them they better not knock on any of my other doors. All that with a smile of course! Civility 101.

    • As a big supporter of WHI who has a track record of about 90% accuracy of telling us things that happen well before they happen, I think they are off on this update which I will chaulk up to a lot of stress and worry about the final days of the campaign. It seems pretty clear they have been working with the Romney campaign for a while now. Maybe the Romney team was counting on WHI to deliver the Congress on the Benghazi issue and that fell thru and now insider is very upset? Unless there is massive massive voter fraud, I think Romney wins this election by about 30 electoral votes or more. But I understand insiders worry. There has to be a ton of pressure on them to help make this happen.

      • NameBM
      • WHI is too close to the fire at this point. He does not have the perspective we have on the ground. He is too caught in the game, and playing it with rotten players in DC. Surprised that Hillary and Bill are not real patriots after all???? And that the Dems in Congress are back in their shells not daring to venture against the Chicago machine??? Really, where were you during the Obamacare punch?

I read the effect of the storm completely differently. For me what it means is that unless you are very motivated to go out and vote, you may not want to line up in the cold to do so, specially if home or work has been affected or if it took you twice the time to commute.

So it is going to come down to motivation, and we know that this time around motivation is hugely on the side of the Reps.

The Obama campaign is playing it as usual on perception. They have lost that game about six months ago on all fronts.

This time the game is motivation.

Beghazi was the icing on the cake. But Romney has been ahead of the polls for months now, if you applied the right participation ratios, not the 2008 one, but at least the 2010 one.

And if you take into account the participation ratios of the advance voting it’s a landslide.

Remember how the Hurricane during the Rep convention was supposed to sink Romney?

Yeah. I guess they never learn…

        • bill o'rights
        • Had this same conversation with my dad last night.

I think I’ve come around to your perspective, for the same reasons.

Basically, core Democrats aren’t as motivated as conservatives this election, which should come as no surprise. I think I’d have to agree that the storm only hurts Obama.

Watch for Obama buses in the devastated areas…not to provide supplies, but to get people to the polls.

Black Jesus gonna save the votes…er…people.

    • Kat
    • I will say this that I am very upset at the media and more in Congress not screaming for the truth of Benghazi. Sick to my stomach how corrupt the media has become.

    • ANOTHER NEWS REPORT ON HOW ROMNEY WAS AGAINST FEMA!!!! THEY ARE READING THE SCRIPT WHI TALKED ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ASSHOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • If the media comes out in force by the end of this week with the story of how Obama helped to coordinate the efforts to save people and how government aid is pouring in to help and you have governors like Chris Christie saying how much help Obama has been and what a great leader then it could be enough to move votes back toward Obama in some swing states and that gives him the election. People who are saying nothing to worry about here are not seeing the big picture IMO. I totally agree with WHI that we should be worried. People sitting back and saying its too late to save Obama are doing exactly the kind of stupid thing WHI is so upset about. If Obama wins again we really do deserve him. We are all fucked.

      • Kat
      • Thank you for explaining it this way. Makes sense and makes me afraid. There is already corruption in early voting in Ohio and probably others. Now the storm could be what pushes Obama to victory with the medias help.

    • Kat
    • UM, you used to publish a best of collection of posts by some of your readers after a story. Could you do that again? I love reading the thoughts of your readers. There are some very smart people in here! Just a suggestion!

    • InTheKnow
    • Like others, not sure I agree with WHI on his read of the situation.

However, he does know some internal polling and things may be closer than they seem. Also, the media will use Romney remarks on FEMA and such to bash him.

I personally feel the storm hurts Obama because of where it hit and because it stops him from campaigning. Yes, he gets to play First Responder, but as the person who seems to be trailing in this race, I’m not sure that’s enough to help him over the top.

And, if things don’t get cleaned up quickly, then any First Responder good feelings towards the president become “how come things aren’t fixed yet?” So, I’m not sure this is going to benefit Obama in the end. I think it could end up hurting him.

    • 4TheBoys
    • One thing I would like to add to the excellent comments on this is that every time the Obsma campaign gets cocky, they manage to mess something up. Give them time.

    • truthandjustice
    • My advice to WHI – calm down, calm down. Put me down on the side of those saying Romney wins and this storm is not going to ruin things at all. Do not agree with WHI on this one. Romney campaign can handle — been seeing him on Fox about how he is helping getting food, etc. to the victims and is seen as being compassionate, as he always has been in the past – long record. Also – the states affected are the heavily DEM ones and I see the storm in a totally different light – that it will help — it will help stem the fraud from early voting, etc. Rush saying the same thing. And he’s usually correct on these things.
Benghazi is not going away and there was enough news and info on it before the storm hit. Also people are still more concerned about the economy and the storm doesn’t affect that either. And as another said, people are staying home and watching more TV – good Romney ads, etc. Many have already voted.
Dems/operatives are still thinking that things are like the “old days”. Nope. Total different deal this time around. I guess that’s hard to see when you live among all the political types in DC, etc. and not out with the “regular folk”. Can’t see things more realisticly. The Obama camp are idiots – this will not work out like they think at all….like everything else.
Yes, shame on all the Congress people who should be standing up !!! Can’t be any more outraged than we are out here. And we’ve been beyond outraged ever since he was elected. Maybe they will respond later. Who knows. We’ve given up on them a long time ago. Don’t need them this time. Our “We the People surge” will be much greater than the hurricane’s surge.
No, I’ll stick to my “good signs” I’ve been posting about – don’t worry, WHI, all your efforts are not and will not be for naught like you may be thinking now. Take heart, chin up. Like on the ship, Bounty, the evil captain at the helm & his evil helpers will be overtaken by the storm of revolt from their victims and like its replica did recently (because of the storm), it will S.I.N.K.

To live and die in Benghazi, Libya without leadership from America
By Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer (ret.)Published October 30, 2012FoxNews.com

      Shocking findings from Benghazi

Benghazi emails don’t tell entire story?

SEAL father: Who denied military aid during Benghazi…
What is it like to spend your last moments on earth fighting for your life?

To have devoted your life, and your life’s work, to a great nation — to serve it well and honorably — and serve for it with courage and distinction, to all come down to a last, frantic few seconds, spent defending you and your fellow Americans and call for the cavalry to come help, and no cavalry comes–and you die.

This is what the two former Navy SEALs, under the employment of CIA, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, faced in their final moments in Benghazi on September 11, 2012.

It is not a question of could we have sent forces in to help.We could. We could have sent forces to help as they were within a few hundred miles. This battle of Benghazi was a protracted fight – covering at least six to eight hours (depending on when you start the clock). And, if the forces were not there, on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, then there is an additional level of leadership failure that must be examined. However, the appearance is that there was forces available.

This is what we now stand for now, as a nation? To have invested billions in intelligence and special operations forces to hang back, play it safe?

To have general officers serve NOT as “Monday morning quarterbacks” but as “Monday morning apologists” for the WH saying “it was just too hard” or “the uncertainty was a key factor” – are you kidding me? Conventional thinking obtains you conventional (and in this case tragic) results – four dead Americans.

It is a shame that senior leaders have such little faith in the extraordinary talents of our special operations forces…they are the best and can do extraordinary work – they should have been trusted (and used) in the case of Benghazi.

The request for help was sent by these brave, now dead, men – at least three times. The answer was “no”.

Someone made the decision to not send help. Who?

The decision would have been that of one man – the president.

There was a similar decision profile in October 1983, regarding a little place known as Grenada.

The Cubans were making inroads on the island and there was evidence that U.S. students attending a medical school there were endanger and likely to become hostages of the Cubans and Grenadian government. These Americans were in immediate danger.

There was a tense meeting in the White House situation room of President Reagan’s cabinet. After a short debate on the issues, Reagan called for a vote to use military force to rescue the Americans.

Only three of his cabinet voted to yes to take action…SecDef Cap Weinberger voted no. One of the three “yes” votes was Ronald Reagan.

I am told he said something to the effect “Gentlemen, I appreciate your vote – but unfortunately, my vote counts more than yours – we are going”. And we went.

Operation Urgent Fury was born – and over a six hour (that is right six hour) planning process, the first U.S. forces arrived in Grenada – lead by the US Marine Corps and the Army’s Rangers and 82nd Airborne.

There was huge uncertainty — we had just come off of the 1980 failed attempt to rescue the U.S. hostages in Iran that ended badly at a staging area called “Desert One”.

There was also a lack of intelligence – it came to individuals calling via a phone-booth into the Pentagon to be patched into the Navy to coordinate artillery fire.

Oh, yeah- and President Reagan did not even inform our closest ally, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, of the invasion. Grenada was a British protectorate. He apologized later.

The students were rescued, preventing another hostage crisis similar to the one that had hobbled the Carter Administration.

Lives were saved. Leadership was shown.

So, thirty years later, are we that diminished as a global power that we cannot defend our own citizens?

Are we that risk adverse we would sooner see our men and women we put in harm’s way made to be sacrificial lambs to political correctness and political optics? Is this what we’ve become?

So, do we want four more years of “it is too hard to do”? Can we afford four more years of leading from behind, or worse, failure to lead at all? This failure has cost four US lives, a burned out consulate, damage and diminished respect. What is next?

We need clear answers — real leadership. Hope and change is not a strategy, it is a tragedy.

To live and die in Benghazi, Libya without leadership from America

Is what we now stand for now, as a nation? To have invested billions in intelligence and special operations forces to hang back, play it safe?

An Incriminating Timeline: Obama Administration and Libya

The latest incriminating information on the U.S. consulate attack in Benghazi, Libya indicates that the State Department turned down a request for additional security from concerned U.S. embassy staff.

New evidence shows there were security threats in Libya in the months prior to the deadly September 11 attack that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans. Despite these threats, the State Department left its personnel there to fend for themselves.

And when the terrorist attack did take place, the Obama Administration peddled the ridiculous story that an offensive, amateurish, anti-Islam YouTube video was to blame in order to avoid characterizing the murders of four Americans as terrorism.

On October 2, a letter was sent to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton from House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R–CA) and Jason Chaffetz (R–UT), Chairman of the National Security, Homeland Defense and Foreign Operations Subcommittee. The letter detailed 13 known security threats against U.S. facilities in Libya in the six months prior to September 11.

On October 10, the committee will hold a hearing on events in Libya and seek answers from the State Department. Also on October 10, The Heritage Foundation will host a public panel discussion on the events in Libya titled, “Intelligence and Security Failure: Attacks in Benghazi and Across the Middle East Reveal Ongoing Threat of Terrorism.”

To help our readers follow the path to tragedy on September 11 and its aftermath, below is a chronology of key events:

April 6: IED thrown over the fence of the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi.

April 11: Gun battle erupts between armed groups two-and-a-half miles from the U.S. Consulate, including rocket-propelled grenades.

April 27: Two South African contractors are kidnapped by armed men, released unharmed.

May 1: Deputy Commander of U.S. Embassy Tripoli’s Local Guard Force is carjacked, beaten, and detained by armed youth.

May 1: British Embassy in Tripoli is attacked by a violent mob and set on fire. Other NATO embassies attacked as well.

May 3: The State Department declines a request from personnel concerned about security at the U.S. Embassy in Libya for a DC-3 plane to take them around the country.

May 22: Two rocket-propelled grenades are fired at the Benghazi office of the International Committee of the Red Cross, less than 1 mile from the U.S. Consulate.

June 6: A large IED destroys part of the security perimeter of the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. Creates hole “big enough for 40 men to go through.”

June 10: A car carrying the British ambassador is attacked in Tripoli. Two bodyguards injured.

Late June: The building of the International Red Cross attacked again and closed down, leaving the U.S. flag as the only international one still flying in Benghazi, an obvious target.

August 6: Armed assailants carjack a vehicle with diplomatic plates operated by U.S. personnel.

September 8: A local security officer in Benghazi warns American officials about deteriorating security.

September 11: Protesters attack the U.S. Cairo embassy. U.S. Embassy releases statement and tweets sympathizing with Muslim protesters/attackers.

September 11: U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya is attacked, Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans are killed.

September 12: Secretary Clinton and President Obama issue statements condemning both the video and the attacks.

September 12: U.S. intelligence agencies have enough evidence to conclude a terrorist attackwas involved.

September 13: Press Secretary Jay Carney condemns video and violence at a news conference.

September 14: Carney denies Administration had “actionable intelligence indicating that an attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi was planned or imminent.”

September 14: The bodies of slain Americans return to Andrews Air Force Base. President Obama again blames the YouTube video.

September 16: U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice appears on Sunday talk shows and says the attacks were provoked by the video, exclusively.

September 16: Libyan President Mohamed Magarief says, “no doubt that this [attack] was preplanned, predetermined.”

September 17: State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland refuses to call attacks an act of terror.

September 19: CNN reports having found Ambassador Stevens’s diary, which indicates concern about security threats in Benghazi.

September 19: Director of the National Counterterrorism Center Matthew Olsen tells Congressthe attack in Libya was “terrorism.”

September 20: Carney tries to back up Olsen, says it was “self-evident that what happened in Benghazi was a terrorist attack.”

September 20: Obama refuses to call attack terrorism, citing insufficient information.

September 21: Secretary of State Clinton, at meeting with Pakistani Foreign Minister, says, “What happened in Benghazi was a terrorist attack.”

September 25: On ABC’s “The View,” Obama says, “we don’t have all of the information yet so we are still gathering.”

September 25: To the U.N. assembly, Obama blames “A crude and disgusting video sparked outrage throughout the Muslim world.”

September 26: Libya’s Magarief on the “Today” show says, “It was a preplanned act of terrorism directed against American citizens.”

September 26: Published reports show U.S. Intel agencies and the Obama Administration knew within 24 hours that al-Qaeda affiliated terrorist were involved.

September 27: Innocence of Muslims filmmaker Mark Basseley Youseff (aka Nakoula Basseley Nakoula) is arrested and denied bail on the charges of “probation violation.”

September 28: Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper, Jr., issues a statement backing the Obama Administration’s changing story about the Libyan attack. Says facts are evolving.

October 2: Carney declines to comment on reported requests from diplomats in Libya for additional security, citing the State Department’s internal investigation.

    • Honestly, I don’t think that most people really care about politics at this point.

They care about whether friends/family are safe/warm. In my area, we’ve had some power outages/school closures and we aren’t even on the East Coast. I’m in Michigan.

Apparently, I’m supposed to care that John McCain is in town to promote Red Cross efforts, but I really just can’t get excited about John McCain being in town to promote anything. I think I’d have that feeling regardless of who ‘the name’ is.

Parents are busy because of Halloween/school stuff and on top of that they have to deal with Mother Nature.

It’s only really the die-hards, like WHI, who are even thinking about some of this stuff. I really just couldn’t get into most of the conservative shows today because I’m really just not interested in hearing about how Obama is this and Romney is that. I want to know about the weather. That’s just about that.

I get that the campaign is only a week away and that there are actual implications for Romney.

However, WHI and others need to remember that Obama always seems to blow it when he tries to turn these kinds of things into political points.

Obama can be happy that a storm hit the East Coast, but the fact is that the social media isn’t down.

Most people have already made up their minds and are just waiting to vote. It’s really a very few people at this point who wait until the 72 hours before to make a decision. It’s even fewer who make the decision in the booth that day.

And most people who are undecided break against the incumbent.

I’m really not too worried about a Romney victory.

Yeah – it sucks, but you know what – it’s going to suck more if Obama’s re-elected. So, we’ve got to do what Americans do and pick ourselves up, thank God for our blessings and keep hammering home the message to our friends and neighbors.

I know I’m sick of watching the horrible pictures on television and I’m willing to bet a lot of people are just as sick of it as I am. I’m wondering who’s actually listening to either the President or Romney at this point.

God is still in control, even when there’s a set back.

      • Good points, thank you. Would add that a bad economy is going to make the cleanup and rebuilding efforts that much harder. A few weeks ago Drudge had a headline that said the average American family has $500.00 in savings. That won’t last long while waiting on insurance companies, and trying to pay for what isn’t covered. Not to mention how strretched most cities, counties and states are. Everyone in those cities will suffer that,

Fear is addictive, I know, and it’s fun for some of you to scare all your friends and family by passing fear porn on to them. Scaring people is a joy many have had since they were in grade school…especially around HALLOWEEN. But, really, please be more mature than to engage in fear porn mongering.

I know it will be tempting because a LOT of conservative sites will be claiming that “Hurricane Sandy just won the election for Obama!” but PLEASE remember the motivations of the writers on these sites. They are looking for big web traffic in the lead up to the election. They want high ad revenue…so they will FREAK YOU OUT and play you like a harp from Hell because they are counting on taking advantage of your fears to drive up their numbers. Don’t fall for this . . .”

    • This storm will have absolutely no affect on Romney’s momentum. I will in fact guarantee a Romney victory next week. Romney will win the popular vote by 5-7%. Romney will carry the entire Southeast including VA and FL. Romney will take OH by 3%, he will take NC by 5-7%, he will take MI, PA, IA, WI and may even get MN. This thing is going to be a total landslide blowout!! People in the bubble that is DC, New York and Hollywood ( the Axis powers) have absolutely no clue what is happening in the rest of the country.

There is so much more going on than you will ever know and ultimately we who believe that the Feds have acted treasonously will ultimately rest control from those who seek to destroy this country from within.

By the way, Romney is not this country’s savior, he is only a triage solution to a problem that has been festering since Bush 41. The Bushes, Clintons and now Obama are globalists who are all responsible for the condition our country finds itself. Of course we the people let it happen, but that is changing. The sleeping giant is now awake.

      Opening the Benghazi Window:
Time to Out Sinister Valerie Jarrett

The deaths of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans in Benghazi, Libya, demand the outing of President Barack Obama’s Iranian-born, chief advisor Valerie Jarrett.

Three times Stevens and his staff were denied help to save their lives on the day of their death.

While the courageous serving America were denied help, private citizen Valerie Jarrett seems to have a 24-hour, around-the-clock security detail, with five or six Secret Service agents at her disposal at home and abroad. (former Democratic pollster Patrick Caddell, Breitbart News interview. )

“At the urging of Valerie Jarrett, President Barack Obama canceled the operation to kill Osama bin Laden on three separate occasions before finally approving the May 2, 2011 Navy SEAL mission.” (Richard Miniter, Leading from Behind: The Reluctant President and the Advisors Who Decide for Him.)

Valerie Jarrett gave the order for the bin Laden kill. Was it Jarrett who advised Obama to refuse help to Americans under sustained terrorist attack in Benghazi?

The ‘Happy Gang’ membership of the Two-Obamas-Plus-Valerie is one of the most peculiar relationships to ever make a home of the White House.

Jarrett never lets either Obama out of her sight and reportedly even follows them home to the White House at the end of each day.

Why is this private citizen afforded full security at taxpayer expense while heroes die in Benghazi?

It was Jarrett more than any other who made a manchurian candidate out of radical community organizer Barack Hussein Obama, having first hired his fiance Michelle Robinson back in 1991 when she was still Deputy Chief of Staff to Chicago Mayor Richard Daley.

Jarrett took Michelle, now Mrs. Barack Obama, with her when she left the mayor’s office to head Chicago’s Department of Planning & Development.

Until joining the Obama administration, Jarrett was CEO of the Habitat Co, a real estate development and management company, where she found notoriety as a slum landlady.

It was Jarrett who secured the contacts and money essential to Mr. Obama’s long-shot Senate victory. (U.S. News &World Report post, “10 Things You Didn’t Know About Valerie Jarrett”.?

‘Valerie Jarrett ’74’ recounts that “after the historic election, President Obama named Jarrett his senior advisor, assistant to the president for intergovernment relations and public liaison, and head of a new panel on women and girls.

One could easily ponder how a mostly municipal realm employee could rise to the power of intergovernment relations, public liaison and women and girls issues.

These positions of power fade in comparison to what Valerie Jarrett has been up to during the lead in to the November 6 election:

While the magician on stage activated the theatrical fog and diverted everyone’s attention elsewhere, the activities behind the scenes were in full swing.” (Doug Hagmann, Canada Free Press, Oct. 29, 2012). “Concurrent with the appointment of (Thomas) Pickering to throttle the outflow of information about Benghazi, Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s Iranian-born Senior Advisor, jetted to the nation of Qatar. Although her activities were concealed by the magician’s accomplice—the dutiful Western media—it was reported by the Asia Times last week that Jarrett met with senior Iranian officials to negotiate a deal pertaining to Iran’s nuclear weapon ambitions.

““Talks about any such meetings or potential deal were quickly denied by the White House. What else would one expect, as premature disclosure would certainly ruin the outcome of the magic trick being performed right before our eyes.
A break in the magician’s fog

While the creation of an October surprise of this nature could be relegated to the historical dustbin of speculation, it is here that a seemingly random series of dots – or events – come into view and the magic trick becomes exposed to those looking for the clues.

It was on July 31, 2012, about a month before the September 11 attack in Benghazi that a mortar ripped into the wall of the CIA occupied military intelligence building (research into ownership suggests a possible UK connection), now apparently designated as “the consulate in Benghazi.” The explosion did not cause any deaths or injuries and consequently, it did not make many headlines.

It is here that I rely on my well-placed intelligence source to help me understand the magic trick onstage. According to my source, our intelligence operatives noticed something unusual near that building. Seven members of the Iranian Red Crescent were milling about, almost like they were inspecting the damage. It was as if they were looking to see if the walls were reinforced, and assessing the response to that facility. The next instant, they were gone.

It was reported that the seven member contingent of the Red Crescent were inexplicably kidnapped by “armed men.”

Fast forward to October 6, 2012, about the time when Valerie Jarrett was reportedly meeting with Iranian officials in Qatar. The kidnapped Red Crescent delegation was suddenly, inexplicably and unceremoniously released unharmed in Libya after 65 days in captivity.

Rumors inside the intelligence community suggest that the Jarrett “October surprise” meetings with Iran were contingent on the release of the Iranian Red Crescent workers.”

Tuesday’s election is the reason why the Obama regime works feverishly to close the window on the tragedy in Benghazi.

Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight & Government Reform Committee, should wedge the window wide open.

It is time to out the Secret Service protected, private citizen Valerie Jarrett.

      • Francesca
      • THANK YOU! I have been wanting and waiting for someone to go after Valerie Jarrett in this Benghazi betrayal. If she has so much power over Obama (see the Osama raid), surely she was involved up to her eyeballs in the Benghazi betrayal. Who IS this woman, and how does she have so much power. She is unelected, unvetted, unconfirmed, and yet . . . She is terrifying imo.

    • I respect WHI and am soooo grateful for all his efforts to save this country. Yes, this storm gives Obama some advantage. But I think that those of us regular folks outside D.C. have our pulse on public sentiment a little differently. So I’d say – yeah, this crisis won’t go to waste – but it also won’t be enough to stop a landslide of anti-Obama sentiment that is far greater than any hurricane, more like a tsunami.

And let’s not forget, some early voting days have been lost, and Dems are less likely to get out and vote under poor conditions.

    • I guess your insider guy must be exhausted by now if he thinks “Obama” can overcome this deficit in a week because of a storm. For instance, New York is so blue it would vote for a dead dog before it voted for a republican. New Jersey—closer this year, but still blue.

Meanwhile, the “Obama” team are spending their last week of the campaign in Blue Minnesota, Blue Michigan and Blue Pennsylvania.

The “Obama” team are throwing one last Hail Mary from their own 10 yard line.

    • Latest email soliciting money from Obama campaign:

“The first is from Ann Habershaw begging for 5 dollar donations, because Mitt Romney has 45 million more in the bank, which is Obama in the red, but notice the cryptic phrase of waking up on November 7th with no regrets.

The internal polling for Obama is even more horrendous than is being made public.

      Hey,

Listen — we’re not there yet, and I’m not one to sugarcoat things.

Mitt Romney and the Republicans entered the last leg of this campaign with $45 million more in the bank than us. That’s a problem, no matter where the polls stand.

It is simply not an option in my mind to come this far just to have the other side buy this election at the very last minute. We have the momentum in this race, but it’s going to take every single one of us — and that means you, my friend — stepping up and taking ownership of this campaign.

Chip in $5 or more before our final budget deadline at the end of the week (yep, you heard right) to make sure we can give our amazing organizers and volunteers what they need for these last, and most important, seven days:

Here’s to waking up on November 7th with no regrets.

      Ann Marie

      Ann Marie Habershaw
      Chief Operating Officer
      Obama for America

P.S. — Two supporters and their guests will be flown out to Chicago next week to meet President Obama and watch his Election Night speech from the front row.”

      HEY LISTEN YOU-GET STUFFED.

    • This could be interesting — even if half true . . .
(Posted by Jeff Poor on Daily Caller site . . . any relation to the Jeff who posted here earlier?)

“On Tuesday night’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” on the Fox News Channel, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said that major news networks might have secret emails proving that the White House canceled plans to assist the besieged U.S. Embassy in Benghazi.

Gingrich said that the bombshell emails could be revealed within the next two days.

“There is a rumor — I want to be clear, it’s a rumor — that at least two networks have emails from the National Security Adviser’s office telling a counterterrorism group to stand down,” Gingrich said. “But they were a group in real-time trying to mobilize marines and C-130s and the fighter aircraft, and they were told explicitly by the White House stand down and do nothing. This is not a terrorist action. If that is true, and I’ve been told this by a fairly reliable U.S. senator, if that is true and comes out, I think it raises enormous questions about the president’s role, and Tom Donilon, the National Security Adviser’s role, the Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, who has taken it on his own shoulders, that he said don’t go. And that is, I think, very dubious, given that the president said he had instructions they are supposed to do everything they could to secure American personnel.”

After noting that the rumor, if true, would have a substantial impact on the presidential election, Gingrich pointed to another possible “October surprise” in the coming days.

“The other big story, I think, that is going to break is on corruption and extraordinary waste in the solar power grants and direct involvement by the Obama White House, including the president, in the solar panel grants involving billions of dollars, and I suspect that’s going to break Wednesday and Thursday of this week,” Gingrich added . . .”

    • A call to Veterans:

There were those veterans who voted for Obama because McCain was bad on veterans affairs; there were those veterans, especially Vietnam vets, who voted for Obama because they were sick of seeing young men sent into war.

The Vietnam Vets had twice the horror that other American Warriors faced: they faced an enemy overseas and an enemy at home. And when – if – they managed to get home, they were spat upon.

They were spat upon by those same types who are running this nation now – the administration itself; they were reviled by people like Bill Ayers, friend to the President and others in the press who didn’t give a rip for our returning heroes.

Now we have a President who may not be spitting upon them as they come home, but with perhaps he is – with Hillary telling the father of a hero in a casket that her administration would get that bad person who made the movie! That is as much a glob of spit – you can interject your own word here – as anything anyone has thrown on the bodies of our American dead.

The rules of engagement, too, are like protesters at the airport – except the protesters usually didn’t kill our returning soldiers. Obama can openly revile our troops by exposing them to unneccessary dangers, and his aim, in this case, is deadly.

So don’t count on any vets to vote for Obama. They’ve already crashed the vote-carrying aircraft for our men and women in Afghanistan – one has suspicions about intent, given everything else.

Don’t let them spit on our men anymore – we owe our four dead in Benghazi and the mass-murdered SEAL team in Afghanistan something, as well as those who continue to serve in dangerous places. Don’t let Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton do vile things to our people – honor our Heroes in uniform as they do their work to keep us safe from foreign enemies. It is up to the rest of us to save us from domestic enemies.

    • OLD MAN WSI needs to pull Big Dog Bill off the campaign trail. Fake a heart attack or food poisoning Bill!!! This administration doesn’t deserve your support and you’re not protecting your wife!!! After everything she had to swallow from your indiscretions – you OWE HER….and AMERICA. BTW- we remember it was Hillary who mocked Obama about rising oceans…not Romney. Redeem yourself BILL.
Remember- millions don’t have electrical power so they are missing the Bengazi story anyway. What they are experiencing is FEMA telling them by land line to go to a website for directions- yet they can’t because they don’t have power! They’ll be plenty ticked that FEMA isn’t working as fast as it should. Romney needs to point that out – like Obama pointed it out during Katrina under Bush. Romney & his wealthier supporters need to use their money and sweep in bringing fresh water/food & blankets to those in need. Leak a story it was HIM who personally came to their aid. Every single one of his companies needs to gather resources and BE SEEN coming to the aid of those who need it. “Mitt would expect us to take care of our fellow Americans”.
