Another Small Business Destroyed By Obama Government…

A 100-year family business, and the only remaining active cannery in the entire state of California, is being shut down by the Obama government.  Madness upon madness upon madness – this is America.  Enough of you voted for it.  Welcome to your world…

( An angry American gives Barack Obama the only salute he deserves…)

Hey, no bigs. It’s just a 100-year-old company and California’s only surviving cannery, a sustainable, family-owned operation employing 30 people. The Drakes Bay Oyster Company has been in a seven-year fight with the federal government and environmental groups over whether it’s 40-year lease would be renewed this week. The Lunny family, which owns the oyster farm, was among a group of families that sold their ranch lands to the National Parks Service in the 1970s to protect them from developers, with the understanding they would get 40-year-leases renewed in perpetuity. After buying and operating the oyster farm without incident— they were even featured as outstanding environmental stewards by the National Parks Service— the Lunnys learned in 2005 they were accused of bringing environmental damage to an area the NPS and environmentalists were anxious to designate as the nation’s first federally recognized marine wilderness.

Sec. of the Interior Ken Salazar decided todaythe farm’s lease will not be renewed:

“After careful consideration of the applicable law and policy, I have directed the National Park Service to allow the permit for the Drakes Bay Oyster Company to expire at the end of its current term and to return the Drakes Estero to the state of wilderness that Congress designated for it in 1976,” Salazar said in a statement. “I believe it is the right decision for Point Reyes National Seashore and for future generations who will enjoy this treasured landscape.”  LINK

THE LAND KEN SALAZAR WANTS TO “RETURN” TO “THE STATE OF WILDERNESS” WAS GIVEN TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BY THE VERY SAME FAMILY WHO IS NOW HAVING THEIR 100 YEAR BUSINESS DESTROYED BY THAT SAME FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

LET THAT SINK IN AND THEN CURSE THIS OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO THE HEAVENS AS IT GIVES US YET ANOTHER DISGUSTING EXAMPLE OF CENTRALIZED BIG GOVERNMENT THAT CARES NOTHING FOR THE LIVES OF ITS OWN PEOPLE – WHERE WE ARE ALL BEING REGULATED AND TAXED INTO OBLIVION.

Several of my long posts have not posted over the past week. I am probably not alone in this considering the unusualy low numbers of comments. Spamy is getting very fat!

    • Everyone – if you haven’t yet, get educated about AGENDA 21 !!! Glenn Beck has a new book out explaining and warning – trying to get ppl awake and acting about it. This is one issue we STILL CAN do something about and throw a humongous wrench into the NWO, Obama, UN people. Excerpts from article at Canada Free Press:

“We curse Obama and his loathesome personal ‘Army of Czars & Stars’; we whine about the stolen election. We torture ourselves with the reasons why he can’t be defeated. We fall for stories circulating the Net building false hopes that a vote recount is coming any day now; that a plurality of longstanding American states will secede.

And through it all, a majority of us completely ignore society’s most clear and present danger: The freedom and liberty smothering United Nations through its insidious Agenda 21.

Glenn Beck and Harriet Parke have a new book out about Agenda 21. Canada Free Press writers Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh, author of UN Agenda 21: Environmental Piracy and Kelly O’Connell write about it. The late Henry Lamb dedicated a lifetime to the impact of Agenda 21 on the masses, and that’s not counting the so many others.

Agenda 21 is the carbon monoxide of the world of bureaucratic entrapment. It has already poisoned and killed you before anyone noticed its presence.

“In case you’re still unsure how Agenda 21 operates, especially in relationship to local activities, allow Mark Edward Vande Pol – a former Agenda 21 planner for Santa Cruz County – to explain the process. (Carl Teichrib, forcingchang.org))

“This is Agenda 21. The UN intends to control your life, through incremental mandates instituted by your local government bureaucracy. You will never see it. You will never vote on it. No matter which path they use, the agencies can pen the new regulations under ‘threat’ of lawsuit and down the pipe it comes: enforceable administrative rules without legislation.”[1]

The UN successfully fends off citizen resistance to Agenda 21 by hiding it behind innocuous sounding names like “sustainable development” and by branding all resisters as conspiracy theorists.

But the build-up to One World Government for North America is fully documented and there is irrefutable proof in the making of Agenda 21 that it transcends a left-right paradigm.

Though it was to devolve through a myriad of revolutions, Agenda 21 got its beginning when Canadian UN Poster Boy Maurice Strong fell in with the Rockefellers and their storied wealth.

For all those who rest in the false comfort that that will never happen should look to Toronto, where Rob Ford, the first conservative mayor in living memory, was forced to give up a seat won by 380,000 votes via an obscure municipal law left on the books, just this week.

In order for the citizen population of North America to find its way out of the dark, citizens must come together to somehow find the way to break the yoke of Agenda 21.
It could easily be of North America that the question “Who’s Your Daddy?” could be asked.

It will take a lot of work to turn the tide on Agenda 21, but it is a possibility.

Its increasing control of our towns and cities notwithstanding, Agenda 21 is not impossible to put down and defeat because Agenda 21 has at least one provable weakness. Had it not been for Smart Meters, public attention might never have been called to the encroaching One World Order being implemented today by Barack Obama.”

    • Yeah, I got nothing this time…I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised, as I’ve been predicting these results since before Romney received the GOP nomination…

Agenda 21 is something I’m aware of, but I haven’t done much research on. My strengths lie in business analysis and theoretical reactions due to regulation/restriction. Over Christmas break I’ll be fixing that, though…

More states need to ban Agenda 21 just as they are banning Obamacare exchange stations (or whatever those are. It’s Friday, the brain is kinda fuzzy with thoughts of creative writing/recreational reading and video games lol).

Those who are complying with demands better be prepared to take the backseat when the likes of UM Readers and other patriots bail the country out (or attempt to, at least). I believe the future is solely dependent on divine providence at this point, but by golly that won’t keep me from doing what I can.

On another note, anyone familiar with Z.E.R.T.?

Oh, We Forgot to Tell You …

        Victor Davis Hanson

        Nov 14, 2012

The second-term curse goes like this: A president (e.g., Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, etc.) wins re-election, but then his presidency implodes over the next four years — mired in scandals or disasters such as Watergate, Iran-Contra, Monica Lewinsky, the Iraqi insurgency and Hurricane Katrina.
Apparently, like tragic Greek heroes, administrations grow arrogant after their re-election wins. They believe that they are invincible and that heir public approval is permanent rather than fickle.
The result is that Nemesis zeroes in on their fatal conceit and with a boom corrects their hubris. Or is the problem in some instances simply that embarrassments and scandals, hushed up in fear that they might cost an administration an election, explode with a fury in the second term?
Coincidentally, right after the election we heard that Iran had attacked a U.S. drone in international waters.
Coincidentally, we just learned that new food stamp numbers were “delayed” and that millions more became new recipients in the months before the election.
Coincidentally, we now gather that the federal relief effort following Hurricane Sandy was not so smooth, even as New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Barack Obama high-fived it. Instead, in Katrina-like fashion, tens of thousands are still without power or shelter two weeks after the storm.
Coincidentally, we now learn that Obama’s plan of letting tax rates increase for the “fat cat” 2 percent who make over $250,000 a year would not even add enough new revenue to cover 10 percent of the annual deficit. How he would get the other 90 percent in cuts, we are never told.
Coincidentally, we now learn that the vaunted Dream Act would at most cover only about 10 percent to 20 percent of illegal immigrants. As part of the bargain, does Obama have a post-election Un-Dream Act to deport the other 80 percent who do not qualify since either they just recently arrived in America, are not working, are not in school or the military, are on public assistance, or have a criminal record?
Coincidentally, now that the election is over, the scandal over the killings of Americans in Libya seems warranted due to the abject failure to heed pleas for more security before the attack and assistance during it. And the scandal is about more than just the cover-up of fabricating an absurd myth of protestors mad over a 2-month-old video — just happening to show up on the anniversary of 9/11 with machine guns and rockets.
The real postelection mystery is why we ever had a secondary consulate in Benghazi in the first place, when most nations had long ago pulled their embassies out of war-torn Libya altogether.
Why, about a mile from the consulate, did we have a large CIA-staffed “annex” that seems to have been busy with all sorts of things other than providing adequate security for our nearby diplomats?
Before the election, the media was not interested in figuring out what Ambassador Christopher Stevens actually was doing in Benghazi, what so many CIA people and military contractors were up to, and what was the relationship of our large presence in Libya to Turkey, insurgents in Syria and the scattered Gadhafi arms depots.
But the strangest “coincidentally” of all is the bizarre resignation of American hero Gen. David Petraeus from the CIA just three days after the election — apparently due to a long-investigated extramarital affair with a sort of court biographer and her spat with a woman she perceived as a romantic rival.
If the affair was haphazardly hushed up for about a year, how exactly did Petraeus become confirmed as CIA director, a position that allows no secrets, much less an entire secret life?
How and why did the FBI investigate the Petraeus matter? To whom and when did it report its findings? And what was the administration reaction?
Coincidentally, if it is true that Petraeus can no longer testify as CIA director to the House and Senate intelligence committees about the ignored requests of CIA personnel on the ground in Benghazi for more help, can he as a private citizen testify more freely, without the burdens of CIA directorship and pre-election politics?
It has been less than two weeks since the election, and Obama seems no exception to the old rule that for administrations which manage to survive their second terms, almost none seem to enjoy them.
The sudden release of all sorts of suppressed news and “new” facts right after the election creates public cynicism.
The hushed-up, fragmentary account of the now-unfolding facts of the Libyan disaster contributes to further disbelief.
The sudden implosion of Petraeus — whose seemingly unimpeachable character appears so at odds with reports of sexual indiscretion, a lack of candor and White House backstage election intrigue — adds genuine public furor.
The resulting mix is toxic, and it may tax even the formidable Chicago-style survival skills of Obama and the fealty of a so far dutiful media.

    • Justawhoaman
    • Just a thought. Could the removal of oyster farming on the West coast of the US have ANYTHING to do with a tsunami that hit Japan and caused a nuclear plant disaster? Justa askin’.

      Filter feeder=concentrated pollutants

As a farmer, I feel for these people; however, I fear something bigger is going on that is only being whispered. If it got out that the oysters were being concentrated with nuclear waste, imagine how many Californians are going to want some kind of reimbursement or environmental compensation…. not to mention a national panic over exposure.

    • Seen
    • Most people don’t realize that governments mostly increase in size by public-private partnerships that act as mechanisms enabling national socialism to take over governance. Communists, Communitarians, and Fascist/Corporatists run US political discourse now. The Communitarian moderates have also lost control of consensus building politics of Communists and Fascists with the polarization of the populace, and we are heading into Communism as Communitarian Crony Capitalism crumbles. So, it really shouldn’t be a surprise that now they have cemented power and influence; non-party members are being left to rot. They only needed your consent or illusion of acceptable/tolerable discourse; they don’t need you otherwise. Same old crap just a different day.

      2. Agenda 21 is supposed to be the Neo-Worship State and Created unification of the world through highly coercive Authoritarianism, and most buy into it hook line and sinker:
      * Bye bye Women’s rights, as the reproductive bearing gender, reproduction can only truly be controlled by women without also hindering warfare’s health of the state. Johnny P. Holdren got your backs for forced abortion, sterilization, infertility chemicals in food and drinking water, and etc. It should also be pointed out as people are transitioned into human capital and resources held by the Central State rapist, pedophiles, and etc will become the enforcement. When you are governmental property, there is no such thing as rape, molestation, and etc by governmental agents from law enforcement-TSA.
      * Rest in Peace Bill of Rights and Hello Bill of Civil Duties and Privileges.
      * Euthanasia becomes practiced through rationed care.
      * Technological invention and innovation are dictated through environmental accounting and land-use or also known as resource sharing and resource based economy (Congrats Zeitgeist supporters, the Venus Project is 1 of 4 Planned-Oplis style cities of the future. How very useful of you all…)
