Sarah Palin Offers Perhaps The Single Best Commentary On Newtown Shooting Tragedy

Readers have sent hundreds of suggestions, comments, and linked articles my way related specifically to the terrible school shooting in Newtown, Conneticut this past week.  One such link stood out – words written yesterday by Sarah Palin who, in her own to the point manner, expressed much of what I myself had been feeling upon learning of the tragedy:

Sarah Palin

Unspeakable evil slammed America in the beautiful little town of Newtown, Connecticut, just days ago. No words can express the collective shock and sorrow shared by Americans who know the murder of innocent children is the most horrendous crime imaginable. The Connecticut state motto, “Qui transtulit sustinet,” promises that only God can sustain us. Though still insufficient and unfulfilling for the grieving families of these beautiful babies in the Lord’s arms now, perhaps those words are all the inconsolable loved ones can hold on to at this time. May God show His sustaining love to them right now. Please Lord.

It may seem, especially after Friday, the world is spinning fast and furious and out of control. Many political, economic, and societal problems attempt to weigh down our spirit so heavily that some despondently give up after being deceptively led to believe there is no real hope for anything getting better. And despite 24-hour news cycles with constant information flooding our eyes and ears with much white noise, TV’s talking heads really have nothing meaningful to offer.

Those who let themselves be terribly disappointed in political leaders as they ignore real problems, aided along with a complicit media bombarding us with irrelevant distractions in order to avoid facing the reality of a fallen culture, should know those distractions are to hide from a finger pointing to the main contributors to much of our problem. To stop distracting would result in acknowledging the political and media machine’s starring roles in our failing society. So, as they too often tear down those who try to do good, while elevating and celebrating corrupt selfishness, they dumbly assume we don’t know it is they who significantly contribute to our upside down world today. We’ve learned our lesson. Don’t put your hope in Hollywood or Washington. Instead, build resolve and seek truth more aggressively than ever at such a time as this.

    • Although an a-theist (in the same sense as being a-unicornist and a-gremlinist) with a rigid philosophical system and moral code (a student of Objectivism), I:

      (1) lament the decline of Judeo-Christian values and religiosity in the West — primarily Europe and America — as we’ve obviously become the spiritually poorer for it (the vacuum destructively filled by the philosophy — and now consequently embraced as a religion — of the Left: Marxism), and

      (2) love and respect-the-hell out of Sarah Palin (a CinC with whom I’d follow into battle and for whom I’d go to war ….

Historically, it seems that America is seeing a rapid rise in severe mental illness (one need look no further than the Obama White House) coupled with former Sen. Moynihan’s observation on society’s “Defining Deviancy Down” (one need look no further than the Clinton White House).

The murder of any soul, and even having to kill in self-defense, is almost unthinkable to me; but the serial murder of young, pure-of-spirit, full-of-wonder, teeming-with-life, and unlimited-in-promise children — who will never know the majesty, joys, and sorrows of life (I can relate to those who are anti-abortion here) — is simply unimaginable.

    • Sarah Palin is savvy beyond her years!

We are so into political correctness that we are afraid as a society to confront the truth of our problems!!

We can’t hide behind Political Correctness…… We need to call out violence for what it is:

Radical individuals, Militants & also mentally disturbed individuals who do not fit into society. They may need help; but, parents, teachers & the community do not speak out about their odd behavior until it is too late for their victims !!

May ‘God’ guide us to do the right things!
My heart bleeds for these poor Parents, Grandparents, Husbands & relatives who are grieving for their loved ones….. No one should have to endure this tragedy!!

    • This woman has given better speaking points than…..the POTUS. Everyday!

Yet the media rape her constantly.

God bless such a strong woman in America today.

I am more angry than I ever have been in a long while after everything this weekend…..

      That’s all I will say.

    • Sarah Palin is the dumbest hick to ever run for public office. Russia from her porch? LOSLOSLOSLSOSLOSLSOSLSOLSLSOSOSLSOOSSO. No wonder republicans will never win the white house ever again. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA

      • @ Palinisdumd

Sorry that you have such a warped view of a very strong woman.

Sarah Palin has charisma & many people are drawn to her events because she is a common person with common sense approach. She is not a political elitist!! She cares more deeply for America than most of our elected officials.

Sarah is an intelligent woman; but, the MSM was afraid of her & felt necessary to try to destroy her.

In May 2007 Sarah had a 93% favorability rating among Alaskans…… I have never know a Governor or any public official with that high of a rating….. You don’t attain that status by being dumb!!

      • Typical of a person with no etiquette, no morals and no sense of personal responsibility.
Never questioning the message, or who it is from, and why.
Making belligerent statements in the hopes somebody will look to them with respect.

The ignorance of this person is astounding.
Palin would still fight for this idiot’s rights while he tries to, in an infantile manner, paint this patriot, in his given by the media view, as a fool.

The person who is taking a view from others and is parroting them in order to paint Palin as lesser, while she speaks more eloquently and with respect for all, and people are suppose to listen to his (given to him) views?

Think about it for a second palinisdumb.

Your words are to be heeded because you use other people’s ridicule, versus the words the woman has given to the people freely to give them hope, faith and thought? For no benefit to herself but to lift others up in thought and spirit?

A word to those who would speak like palinisdumb.

All the problems we all have, past, present and future, are from the lack of thought, etiquette, morals and values, that gave you the freedoms and rights that you now casually abuse and disrespect.

Any society worth having, any people worth value, must be defended.

If you wish to attack, prepare to defend.

Prepare to defend your views, values and words with all the strength you have. Because the strength of who you attack will be what you will need to defend yourself from. Their morals. Their Values. Their Integrity. And it will be measured against your own. So prepare.

As we pray to our loving God, the magnificent creator of all that is, we ask to be bathed in Christ’s light as we mourn the loss of innocent life and the tragedy at Newtown, CT, growing in love for one another.

Palin never said she could see Russia from her porch, Tina Fey did in her spoof on Saturday Night Live.

These trolls are not debaters they are community ajitators and pathological liers.

And they need to be called out as such. No more respect for them.

      • @Palinisdumb,

You betray yourself with your posts and you reveal your heart.

I gather you’re a bit lonely, and probably don’t have many friends, so I will suppress my natural tendency to go into attack mode and offer some friendly advice. Maybe it will help you dig yourself out of the rut you obviously find yourself in, and you can begin improving yourself.

        If posting things like:

is not an effective way to argue that someone else is dumb, and I’m led to believe you’re projecting a little. Generally, when people feel so angry about someone they don’t know and who hasn’t harmed them in any way, their attacks against that person reflect their own feelings about themselves.

For my part, I’ll go out on a limb here and tell you that I don’t think you’re dumb, I just think your comments are anchored in emotion, so they lack objectivity and thoughtful consideration.

Clearly, you feel threatened by Sarah Palin in some way. Maybe it’s because she has been more successful in life than you or maybe you see some characteristics she possesses that you, yourself, wish to possess. Only you can answer this.

Your writing style is familiar as well–I have seen your other postings here as well, under a different moniker, so you’re not ‘fooling’ anyone.

It can’t be any fun being deviant when everyone here understands the situation.

Why don’t you stop venting your desperation and sadness through attacks and join us in an intelligent discussion? It’s O.K. to have different opinions. It’s a free country (kinda).

Who knows, maybe you’ll make friends here.

    • All I know is we MUST get “BACK TO THE FUTURE”. We must have “enough” of Americans who think like our Founders did — most of them publicly wrote and spoke of their Christian faith, Biblical beliefs and that was why and how they came to their conclusions about what foundations the Constitution, Bill of Rights, etc. should be based on to be successful as a Republic. They said it was just a fact that we needed to have most of us be “moral” at least. We’re not. We have been sliding downhill for many years and too many don’t agree with them and hate the Constitution – most in Congress I dare say.

No, they didn’t try to “force” anyone to be a Christian (which you really can’t anyway), believe in the God of the Bible & those principles – but like God, they wanted us to be able to exercise free will on all that. However, they stated their opinions were that the best course was Christianity…and not just “by name only” – to live it…and the dire consequences if we didn’t.

That is what Sarah was saying. So, in my opinion, we’re about out of time and not enough in GOP for us to “take it over” plus there is the number one problem of massive voter fraud that not many seem to recognize or want to fix. I think they have now perfected things to where they can rig them successfully to get the results they want (which we saw this last time around in my opinion) and have no intention of giving up any power or agenda from here on out – we are being run like the dictatorship countries as we speak. They’ll “let” us win a few Consv./Repub. slots to keep us fooled that we still have a Republic but not enough to make any difference in making needed decisions. GOP will not fix the fraud problem as we’ve discussed before.

Therefore, we need to go Third Party to get out from under all the corrupt rules & shenanigans, FIX the voter fraud problem before 2014. If God helps us with that, then we can vote more Consv. Constitutional ppl in and hopefully gain the Senate (keep the House). Then, have someone like Sarah Palin run as she is the most charismatic and has a huge following & think she’ll have the funds. Of course we don’t know if she’ll want to.
Face it, we have “unsurmountable” odds at this point. Like David vs. Goliath if not worse. But….I intend to have hope and fight on, pray on b/c we don’t know yet what God has decided and what’s going on in people’s hearts about Him in the country & the future. And with God “all things are possible”. I will continue onward & upward as long as I am able…..

Libor scandal grows as the fathers of two mass murderers were to testify

Both Dads about to” testify about this Billion or Trillion dollar scandal”…… No one will touch this with a 10 foot pole!!

        Oh My God… Save us!!!

I thought that James Holmes was drugged ….He looked like a Zombie…Then when I found out that his Dad was about to testify about Libor scandal …… I said was this mentally ill boy taken advantage of by

Now a second boy who had mental issues & his Dad also to Testify in the “Libor Scandal”…… Something

There was talk then about his dad. Pray – everyone that these horrible crimes get the exposure they need, not to mention the “justice” somehow!!!!

          • Yes, me too. The whole thing is fishy just like everything else. And…like everything else, I noticed after I left here that apparently this is all over the internet and ppl like Michele Malkin are debunking it and even other Consvs. saying it’s another crazy conspiracy theory that’s totally ridiculous. It’s another “deep, devious, complex, global” deal that ppl just can’t believe & unfortunately we don’t have that hard evidence (that we can see).

            • Michelle Malkin is a great Conservative. She is trying to make a name for herself and is afraid to tarnish her reputation by going out on a limb. That’s why I brought it to Ulsterman. He isn’t bound by the same rules as everyone else. He has been able to make a name… with an alias. Lol. He’s the only one that can get into things like this and come out clean on the other side. I wouldn’t have brought it to him if the evidence of the father’s wasn’t there. I wouldn’t have bought into it. I am leaning toward it more and more but want something more before I take the plunge and get full on loony tunes with this thing.

Most of us are logical, sensible people. So, you’ll appreciate what I’m saying when I ask:

Are these tin foil hat days or what?

        • bill o'rights
        • From what I have found, so far, the LIBOR scandal is just the tip of the iceberg. The banks got caught with their pants down, and it allowed the rest of us to see that it was just a small part of a much larger conspiracy. I think it’s really relevant to this:

Actually, it’s quite easy to see how the central banks, the Fed and the IMF are working together to destroy/steal from/decimate the middle class. Just ask anyone who’s retired. The fixed income portion of their portfolios yields essentially nothing, so many people have been forced to sell off principal assets in order to create cash flow. This is what happens when the Fed keeps interest rates artificially low–year after year after year. To make matters worse, the Fed just keeps printing up dollars out of nowhere.

Notice how your grocery bill this year is about 8% higher than last year? That’s what I’m talking about.

    • Shooting at Oregan Mall recently!!……..Media Keeping the Truth from the Public!!

Subject: Portland Mall Shooter Stopped by “CCW” holder, Media Lied by Omission

Interesting we didn’t see this on National news.

This was news to me. And it should have been all over the news. The actual “Clackamas TV station’s news report” is part of this youtube video, so it’s authentic.

Part of a story that the national media didn’t report . .

      • bill o'rights
      • Yup, saw that. Sounds like the shooter may have blown his brains out after having a CCW holder point a gun at him.

The gun control morons don’t like reporting such things, since it supports the argument that concealed carry is an effective deterrent against psychopaths on murderous rampages.

    • NameBM
    • Do we know for sure both fathers are supposed to testify before Congress?

This fact is one of the cornerstones of this situation. So it needs to be verified. We cannot rely on assumptions here. There is too much manipulation out there.

Does somebody knows how to access the official Congress list of witnesses? On before last week cache preferably.

And has any direct testimony been offered by anybody showing the shotter actually shooting? Or even holding a gun?

      • truthandjustice
      • As far as I know, no – we don’t know for SURE that the fathers were to testify. That’s the “rub” as they say. Of course — as usual, no “hard evidence” so this will “go away”. The denial and criticism of it is everywhere, even on the “Conservative” sites. I was shocked yesterday when I posted it thinking ppl would like to know this possibility (I didn’t make any comment about it probably being true or anything – just the report) – and I got slammed all over the place for posting it. These ppl were not “libs”. They would also give comments from other blog sites that were “debunking” – they immediately accepted what these bloggers said as truth & proof it was a lie.

I don’t do a lot of blogging on other sites so maybe that’s why I was so shocked.
As realistic as I am, it still surprised me. So I gather one of the other huge problems we have (as SALLYAL said) – we STILL have too many who don’t get it and don’t realize how much we are duped, even by the “Govnt aides/staff” (one gave the “proof” of being a lie from some aide in Congress who said they had no hearing scheduled for those fathers to testify). People choose to be naive and can’t fathom how widespread and infiltrated all of our Govn’t Depts., Congress, etc. – lie constantly and are anti-Constitution & commit evil crimes, etc.

We will never get anywhere if we don’t think about these “theories” and face the facts that there ARE “conspiracies”. “They” have successfully gotten it out that anyone who states a “conspiracy theory” is a fool. All of this type thing and the “pc” nonsense are just powerful tools they use to keep ppl quiet and keep ppl from investigating and getting to the truth. The only ppl that should be chastised are the ones who know the truth but spread lies. Those of us who don’t know the truth but know the capability of ppl to do these evil things are being wise to check it out as much as possible until proven wrong……as long as we aren’t accusatory without proof. Nothing wrong with discussing possibilities & I’m afraid we have enough “circumstantial” evidence to be reasonably suspicious.

I have become to be like the others who don’t believe anything anymore b/c I know they have probably all been infiltrated in all the important Depts. & I don’t even believe someone who knows the court schedule when he says there isn’t one OR the documents themselves b/c they all can be “fixed”. And even if they have the hearings of those fathers, what are the chances they keep that secret or something? I don’t know how that works but if it’s important to protect Geithner, Obama, etc., I doubt very much we’ll hear it. And sadly, I really don’t know what we can do about it. ????

    • Enlightened
    • What I make of the dots connecting is: There is something to be seen. You have to realize a few things. Conspiracy theories are something people make fun of, hell we all make fun of them most of the time. People are afraid to get outside the norm and question things. It is not often that we get something so obvious. Something that is there but out of place. Anyone can notice that. What WHI has attempted to teach us is to actively look for what is missing. That is MUCH more difficult to catch but is always indicative of slight of hand. So we have connected some dots. Does that mean we have found something not right? I believe that it does. Does it mean we’re on the right track? Not necessarily. There is always the chance that it is much less than we are making it. There is also the very real possibility that we need to broaden our gaze. WHI continually gets mad at Ulsterman because every revelation he has about something screwy, he jumps to the next immediate conclusion. He doesn’t look at the big picture and how this piece fits. THAT is what we have to do here. We need to sift through our speculation, weigh it for what is most likely and what is not, then see how it fits into the big picture. I personally think this is all IMF. They are more brazen and arrogant than ever and working to clear the final roadblocks for themselves. That does not mean I will sandbox my opinions to fit this hypothesis. I will continue to remind myself to look for the bigger picture.

    • From Canada Free Press (Hagmann) re “wretched absurdity of the Benghazi” report released today: Excerpts

“Beyond the narrow focus of the security issues and the subsequent inconsequential wrist slap, the investigative panel descends further into the abyss of absurdity and insult by incredibly asserting that everything possible had been done to rescue and save our Ambassador and Sean Smith, and further asserted that “the interagency response was timely and appropriate, but there was simply not enough time for armed U.S. military assets to have made a difference.”

That finding alone should alarm every thinking American based on open source intelligence and what is known, as well as what has yet to be disclosed. Only if this report was written with the blood of the dead Americans could it be more insulting to families of the dead and to the intelligence of the American public.

Perhaps Pickering and his cadre of co-conspirators would like to disclose to the American people the strange odyssey of a certain C-130 aircraft that left Croatia for Libya to provide assistance to the Americans under siege at the onset of the attack. The portal-to-portal flight time is about four hours, yet it did not officially “appear” on site for 23 hours. Perhaps it’s time to address the fact that the lie is different at every level, and for Pickering to stop being a firewall between his bosses and the truth owed to every American, and particularly to the families of those who were murdered.

It’s time to ask whether the crew of that C-130 was ever identified and interviewed. It’s time to locate and ask the personnel on board that aircraft how long it was, after they changed from their military uniforms into their street clothes to enact a rescue, were they forced to wait while the embattled Americans endured the attack and met their deaths. Oh yes, there is information known and crying out to be made public despite the contempt for the truth and equally important, the contempt for the American people by Barack Hussein Obama, Hillary Clinton and Valerie Jarrett.

Four Americans were murdered in Benghazi. Over forty thousand are dead in Syria. Soon, it will be four million dead as a result of the hidden agenda of our elected leaders, the complicity of a corrupt media, and the complacency of a brainwashed public. Today we cry over the deaths in Newtown, but tomorrow, our sobs will be for the masses.”

      • Enlightened
      • The truth behind this and the reason they came to this conclusion is because those who gave the report have access to the administration’s agenda. They were running guns to syrian militants in hopes that they would overthrow syria’s regime. This meeting was to show our ambassador that the Russians had proof of this. Any aid to this ambassador commit’s America’s military to this cause and admits the purpose of the meeting. Instead the focus is on his death rather than why he was there.

I will make a facebook group or a website for this. We will create a movement to boycott sponsors of the liberal media. So if a particular detergent brand advertises on their network, we boycott them. Our first order of business should be to boycott all GE products and hopefully Ulsterman will help us get the word out about our new group.
