Ok…Let’s Talk About Marco Rubio’s “Watergate” Moment…

Really not much to say, despite the media frenzy to make it THE issue of the day.  (Which interestingly confirms the “ who really gives a sh*t about another boring Obama speech” attitude so many in the country now feel)  Marco Rubio, during his response to the president’s State of the Union speech, suffered a bout of dry mouth and reached for a sip of bottled water.  The unscripted moment was both mildly humorous, and actually, a welcome break from the mundane and far too long State of the Union address.  That said, the media has pounced, though Senator Rubio appears to be easily swapping aside the clear attempt to portray him as “Not Ready For Prime Time”.  We shall see…

    • Let’s see here, one man, Sen. Rubio, has a human moment and needs a swig of water during a rebuttal. Perhaps not the most opportune time, but hey, at least he’s a man of principles.

The other man, the president, is a smooth operator in front of the camera, but is spending the country in to bankruptcy, fosters divisiveness, and advocates blowing up U.S. citizens with drones and disarming them while assailing his opposition for far lesser things.

Hmm, which one of these two would I rather have leading me?

    • This proves once again the MSM is the enemy of the people. It is as if half of the people have had a (pharmaceutical) lobotomy, leaving them blissfully unaware of the dire circumstances we are all going to face very soon.

    • And it doesn’t matter where Oblah blah and Hill are, while terrorists are buggering and killing an American ambassador, on American soil?? Really???!!!

    • Going around lying shamelessly about your Amnesty plan will do that to a guy. Also, he’s trying way too hard. He was virtually on the edge of tears for his entire response. I do say he’d have made an excellent “Sandy Hook Parent”. I’d vote for him in 2016 if he chose Robbie Parker as his mate.

That way we’d have the world’s first Method Presidency.

    • What about those green ribbons? Yes, officially Sandy Hook. But look at this article from 2005–

      http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2005/aug/13/july7.religion

There have been pink ribbons to raise money for breast cancer research, yellow ribbons for people who have been kidnapped and red ribbons for those suffering from HIV/Aids.

Now thousands of green ribbons are to be distributed to show support for Muslim communities after the London bombings last month.

Nottinghamshire police’s Good Faith ribbon campaign is sending the green ribbons to libraries, police stations, council offices and shops across the county. The initiative was launched at an Islamic school yesterday by chief constable Steve Green.

He said it was a way of showing solidarity with the Muslim community, which has suffered a backlash following the terror attacks.
