A little secret if you don’t mind. I have really enjoyed, for the most part anyways, the talks with Mr. Ulsterman these past few years. He’s a good guy. Started out a bit wide eyed. Deer in the headlights kind of way. You know the type. All juiced up on memories of Ronald Reagan and American idealism. He’s been scraped up pretty good off and on since then, which I knew would happen. Told him that from day one. He’s taken it well. I guess. As well as anyone could. You see, my world is politics. Been my world for a very long time. And I’m here to tell you reader, it’s a real f**ked up world. Sorry for the cursing but that’s just me. And don’t blame Mr. Ulsterman for it either. I told him he can edit my spelling, which is terrible, or maybe the structure of a sentence here and there, but leave the curse words in you Irish Catholic bastard. That’s a little more humor again people. Anyways, those of you who have been paying attention already know that of course. I’ve shared some of that in Mr. Ulsterman’s updates to you. The truly sad part is that there is a segment of the American population that eats it up. They’d rather die than admit they made a mistake in voting for Obama. I had friends like that . . . and we are no longer friends because I dared to say something negative about him. It’s insanity.

Anna, that is what I have to put up with when I say anything negative about Obama with my husband! He totally dismisses it and says I’m just watching Fox News too much–or sources even more slanted than they are. It’s very distressing. For the most part, I just do not share an opinion about anything. Unless I can cite something from the New York Times (or like publications), he will just shoot it down as Right Wing Crazy stuff.
