I thought after reading your Headline that the Texans finally figured out what “HW” had done to their once great nation. But alas, the sheeple continued to dance to the pied piper’s flute. Isn’t ignorance bliss?
Aw, c’mon, y’all! Do you want to begrudge President “New World Order” and his wife “Bar,” of “Sarah Palin should stay in Alaska and shut up” fame a few moments of pleasure?
When Bush Jr. wound down his last years of office, the visceral hate was so evident that Obama was a sure win to succeed him. All reason seemed to have been thrown to the wind in exchange for a change, any change. In fact, that hate was so strong, that Obama was sure to win this last election out of fear of returning to the policies of the past… The blame Bush narrative was proof of that. well, to quote a now famous pariah, “how’s that working out for ya?”
When you’re full of hate, you no longer speak from a reasoned, thoughtful position. You don’t have to agree with many of HW’s policies, most of us didn’t. BUT he did serve this country most of his life in the manner he thought best and to the best of his abilities. To quote a post recently from this site, ALL presidents have made mistakes, the question is, is the outcome intentional or something worse? For as much as I’ve disagreed with the Bush policies, I really can’t agree that HW, or his son, intended their policies to fulfill a philosophy of destruction.
