A federal judge overturned a religious objection right to mandatory birth control coverage that was implemented by the state of Missouri in order to protect the religious freedoms of its citizens. The judge argued Obamacare was federal law and thus overruled state law – somehow ignoring the First Amendment and Tenth Amendment rights upon which the Missouri law was based. JUDGE OVERTURNS MO. LAW ON BIRTH CONTROL COVERAGE
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — A federal judge has struck down a Missouri law exempting moral objectors from mandatory birth control coverage because it conflicts with an insurance requirement under President Barrack Obama’s health care law.
The ruling by U.S. District Judge Audrey Fleissig cites a provision in the U.S. Constitution declaring that federal laws take precedence over contradictory state laws.
…The Missouri law requires insurers to issue policies without contraception coverage if individuals or employers assert that the use of birth control violates their “moral, ethical or religious beliefs.” The state’s Republican-led Legislature overrode the veto of Democratic Gov. Jay Nixon last September to enact the law, which appeared to be the first in the nation to directly rebut the Obama administration’s contraception policy. LINK

It ain’t over till it’s over… and to get to SCOTUS you must first have conflicting decisions before there is standing before the highest court of the land.
Aside from repealing and refusing to fund ObamaCare, and refusing to fund most of government, the GOP House — had it the moral courage and conviction to carry out their oaths of office — would be spending all of its time impeaching traitors (from the President and Attorney General on down to federal judges like this one); sure, because Harry Reid is a traitor, none of them would be convicted, but that’s where the media focus should be: on those traitors …
