Why Is George Zimmerman Even On Trial? (VIDEO)

First there was the prosecution’s “star witness” who admitted on the stand of lying and could not even read her own letter, which she then stated was actually written by someone else.  Now we have yet another prosecution witness who clearly outlines that it was Trayvon Martin who was on top of George Zimmerman, beating the smaller Zimmerman with repeated blows as Zimmerman cried out for help.  This testimony confirms what George Zimmerman told the Sanford police that night.  It is testimony that the special prosecutor assigned to the case, already knew about.  So why then, is George Zimmerman even on trial?

(George Zimmerman as he appeared shortly after being attacked by the six foot two Trayvon Martin)

Remember, the Stanford Police were (understandably) hesitant to charge Zimmerman for the death of Trayvon Martin.  In fact, Zimmerman was not formally charged until weeks later after immense media and political pressure the personal involvement of Barack Obama himself:

The Obama administration followed up with input from White House spokesperson Jay Carney, as well as Attorney General Eric Holder, who threatened that the Justice Department would “act decisively” if Trayvon Martin’s civil rights had been violated.  It was soon after that threat that charges were filed against George Zimmerman.

Now in light of what has been revealed in the actual trial, it seems very clear this case should never have come to trial.  All the evidence points to clear self defense.  Trayvon Martin was a young man already involved in drugs and acts of violence, and their was witness testimony that appears to fully support the story initially told to police by George Zimmerman.

That fact should trouble all of you a great deal.  This Obama administration chose this case to push yet more Americans against the wall of racial tensions.  It has been tactic utilized by the Obama White House since day one.  To watch this trial and have fears substantiated that a likely innocent man has been put through hell, is facing death threats, and now cities across America are bracing for potential riots if this Mr. Zimmerman is (rightfully) found innocent, is a reminder of the frightening reality that is Obama’s America.

For those still refusing to believe this scenario, simply ask yourself this:  Why did the Obama White House choose to elevate this single shooting in Sanford Florida to the national spotlight?  What of the ongoing deaths of children in Barack Obama’s own city of Chicago?  Where are Eric Holder’s threats of investigating those lost lives?

Trayvon Martin’s death is a tragedy.

The Obama administration’s manipulation of that death is outright tyranny.

    • I made this very the other day. It has become clear that the prosecution’s case consists of nothing more than insinuations without any supporting evidence.

Since when do we put a man on trial in the United States of America without a shred of evidence?

That’s one reason I’m not voting to reelect Florida Governor Rick Scott next time around. He should have stood up to Obama.

    • Back again.

The tyranny begins: you aren’t allowed to defend yourself, even if you’re being beaten – like George Zimmerman. But the level of tyranny has grown exponentially overnight: the rot has gone from the apples at the top to the lowest thugs who represent our government.

People can go back to sleep, saying that Zimmerman was too intense, too focused, too interested in protecting his neighborhood…but the evil governmet thuggery isn’t only used exclusively against people who defend themselves – they demand, upon penalty of prosecution, a total obsequiousness. If you protest your arrest in any way, you’re charged with a felony. In Charlottesville, the ABC agents acted like ‘Bammy Brownshirts.
What if this was your daughter?

“When a half-dozen men and a woman in street clothes closed in on University of Virginia student Elizabeth Daly, 20, she and two roommates panicked.

That led to Daly spending a night and an afternoon in the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail. Her initial offense? Walking to her car with bottled water, cookie dough and ice cream just purchased from the Harris Teeter in the Barracks Road Shopping Center for a sorority benefit fundraiser.

A group of state Alcoholic Beverage Control agents clad in plainclothes approached her, suspecting the blue carton of LaCroix sparkling water to be a 12-pack of beer. Police say one of the agents jumped on the hood of her car. She says one drew a gun. Unsure of who they were, Daly tried to flee the darkened parking lot.

“They were showing unidentifiable badges after they approached us, but we became frightened, as they were not in anything close to a uniform,” she recalled Thursday in a written account of the April 11 incident.

“I couldn’t put my windows down unless I started my car, and when I started my car they began yelling to not move the car, not to start the car. They began trying to break the windows. My roommates and I were … terrified,” Daly stated.

Charlottesville Commonwealth’s Attorney Dave Chapman read Daly’s account and said it was factually consistent.

Prosecutors say she apologized profusely when she realized who the agents were. But that wasn’t good enough for ABC agents, who charged her with three felonies. Prosecutors withdrew those charges Thursday in Charlottesville General District Court, but Daly still can’t understand why she sat in jail.

“This has been an extremely trying experience,” she wrote. “It is something to this day I cannot understand or believe has come to this point.”

A gents at ABC’s regional office in Staunton deferred to the agency’s public affairs office in Richmond. Spokeswoman Carol Mawyer would not provide details of the arrest or ABC’s investigative procedures, except to say that all agents wear plainclothes and carry metal badges.

Agents charged Daly with two counts of assaulting a law enforcement officer and one count of eluding police, all Class 6 felonies carrying a maximum penalty of five years in prison and $2,500 in fines per offense.

Chapman said he’d never encountered a situation like this in his 34 years of experience.

“It wouldn’t be the right thing to do to prosecute this,” he said, noting that no one was hurt during the exchange, which took place around 10:15 p.m.

Daly incurred the assault charges when she “grazed” two agents with her SUV, according to court records. She drove the SUV past the agents after her front-seat passenger, in a panic, yelled at Daly to “go, go, go” and climbed into the rear of the vehicle to gain space from the men on her side of the car, the records state.

The woman was on edge after spending the night listening to stories from dozens of sexual assault survivors at an annual “Take Back the Night” vigil on Grounds, said Daly’s defense attorney, Francis Lawrence.

The women dialed 911 as they pulled out of the parking lot to report what was happening and ask whether the agents were police officers. Daly said she was planning to drive to a police station. She stopped the SUV nearby for an agent driving a vehicle with lights and sirens, Chapman said.

Chapman stood by the agents’ decision to file charges, citing faith in a process that yielded an appropriate resolution.

“You don’t know all the facts until you complete the investigation,” he said.”

    • “Akin” to this type of thing that the leftists do – note the Paula Deen story. Note another way to fight that we can do — marketplace “ballots”. We must all unite in fighting the destructive “PC” tool the left has been using so effectively. Make it backfire on them over and over and over again. Be tenacious and unrelenting.
      Conservatives Pushing Back

The real defeat of totalitarian leftism will come when ordinary people in their everyday interactions as consumers and audiences stop being intimidated by its maledictions and curses. The Food Network relies upon just such typical Americans. Cooking and eating are the sorts of ordinary activities which should bind civil societies in relaxed and simple pleasure.

The idea that utter political correctness must govern even some fluffy network like the Food Network is a bad sign. Paula Deen is not an ideologue. She is a very ordinary woman who has overcome the very sorts of obstacles which leftists prattle endlessly about overcoming: a poor and uneducated woman who got out of a bad marriage and, on her own, became a success.

Deen has, by her own admission, used the infamous “N-word” in the past. She did not condone this, but rather noted that she was a product of the language of her youth. She has not been accused of rape or assault or drug use, like many professional athletes who are instantly forgiven by the media, and if the hosts of Food Network stars were looked at under a microscope — indeed, if the lives of the executives who run the Food Network were looked at under a microscope — Paula Deen would almost certainly look almost saintly by comparison.

Why, then, the hatred of this strong, independent woman by leftists? Why the demands that she be taken off the air? Why the cowering surrender to political correctness by the Food Network executives? The left needs whipping boys (or girls) to hold up as an example. Paula Deen, sweet and deeply religious, a self-made woman, fits that perfectly. Her very innocence about political correctness makes her an easy target for the left’s snipers.

There is a pattern. Not too long ago, another deeply religious individual from Georgia who worked wonders with food, Truett Cathy of Chick-fil-a, found that his principled religious position against homosexuality led to the unpleasant cadres of leftism trying to create havoc in his business operations. (You know, like conservatives are always trying to throw monkey wrenches into Starbucks by acting rude at drive-through windows and driving the young staff there to tears.)

Culturally conservative Americans, however, are beginning not only to wake up, but to act in self-defense. There are several Chick-fil-a restaurants where I live, and all of them are always crowded, even while other fast food restaurants next to them seem empty. Is this a way of quiet support for Cathy, a very nice and generous man, standing up for what he believes? Yes, it is.

Already fans of Paula Deen are making it clear that they are not leaving her to the wolves. Fox News reports that her cruises are now overbooked, as fans lay their money down to show their support for her. Many probably suspect — count me among these — that her devout Christian faith is more the real target than past use of an unhappy word which did not keep Robert Byrd from remaining, by election of his fellow Senate Democrats, the most powerful Democrat politician in America.

The “experts,” according to USA Today, have said that Paula Deen is done. They are wrong, but there must be more to it that just that. The Food Network tries to appeal to a very broad cross-section of America. Clearly, it is a sock puppet for political correctness. We should let the Food Network and its sponsors know that we are not amused. Why cast our “ballots” as customers and as viewers for organizations which either despise our values or are too gutless to stand up to the tsars of political correctness?

These marketplace ballots are the key not only to the survival of a non-totalitarian America, but also to the final defeat of those whose minds and wills are chained with hard, cold manacles of leftism. When the institutions of society — businesses, colleges, charities, and the like — grasp that we are watching them for any bigotry against our values and that we are making our decisions based upon how these institutions respond, they we will win.

    • This country is going insane. Notice the extreme difference between the situations of Paula Deen and Rachael Jantel, the witness at the Zimmerman trial. In one case, we (not I) are practically crucifying Mrs. Deen for being a product of her past culture, and in the other case, we (not I) are excusing Ms. Jantel for being a product of her culture. One case ocurred many years ago; one just the other day. They both are over the use of a word(s).

This stuff has got to STOP. We must push back until we seriously wound or eleminate the PC culture. By meekly submitting to the name-calling, we are enabling to continue and grow in power.

Ridicule is our best weapon imo.

      • Channon Christian never merited a mention in the MSM however…guess she wasn’t the same value to society that Trayvon was…Too many in the Black Community are out of control and the race baiters like it and use it…

        • Newsome and Christian – I remember those. It was about the same time a murdered homosexual was given sainthood – the press wasn’t interested in the torture-murder of this poor young couple.

On Zimmerman: same people who wanted to see three innocent Duke students put away for decades, to be used as sex-toys for convicts on the word of a drug-addled hooker with at least 12 different “samples” of DNA in various locations on her person? Well, those are the same people who “did a Nifong” at NBC, altering the 911 call to create their metanarrative.

They didn’t get what they wanted, back then, in spite of Tara Levicy’s hysterical in-SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) report, and in spite of MSM’s haste to judgement. It was a lynching and a railroading, led by a corrupt prosecutor and Leftist creatures of the night. Three innocent young men had their lives smeared and turned into nightmares – by the very same types who have been attempting to crucify Zimmerman.

In fact, even some of those who helped expose the Duke Hoax for what it was now have joined sides with the scumsuckers – the 88 and their ilk. Among them? Kathleen Parker, a once-Conservative columnist who has become part of the 5th column. She once even opined on the Duke debacle – in favor of the young men.

Times have changed: the dirt just keeps getting deeper, and it now has a foul odor, like a dead bat rotting in a mound of pig excrement. May this be the description of the location of these false accusers’ last remaining years on earth.

    • Perceptible Future
    • Your premise is correct and I agree with you 100% but you have a new system in place called “Fascism” whereby the “Politburo” are the one’s who pick winners and losers. Under a Capitalistic system the free market would normally decide the Winner’s and Loser’s, and under that system, winner’s would be rewarded and loser’s would eventually close through non-support.

But, under our current Totalitarian System, it is the “State” who rewards whomever “Their” choice is to be the winners and the losers (GM, MSNBC, Solyndra etc.)

It will not return to the previous system of capitalism until the people decide to return to that system of “being rewarded for working hard”. Unfortunately, as is the case, our citizens have been indoctrinated into believing that you can receive something for nothing, hence, what has been instilled into our African American brothers and sisters. It was a template to keep them enslaved by removing the father figure and replacing him with the “State”. It worked absolutely to the communist manifesto instructions and is now being rolled-out through-out America.

There is only one solution to this dilemma and I am sure we all can figure what that is.

    • Why was Zimmerman charged? He was charged and tried solely on the basis of hearsay – the letter-writer was not the one on the stand, but someone she claims was writing for her. How does she know if the writer accurately represented what she said? She couldn’t read it for verification!

The letter should not have been admissable as evidence for a grand jury, nor for the prosecution, and should have disqualified the prosecutors for having relied upon them. These folks are Nifong, through and through. the only one who should have the letter – written in cursive – as evidence is the defense. At least they’re using the letter appropriately.

But what we’re seeing is the hijacking of our entire criminal justice system, of which the Zimmerman case is but one: the story about the UVA student who was accosted and threatened by Va. ABC Board thugs – and temporatily charged with three felonies – by girly-men who were obviously ATF dropouts (and that’s going pretty low, since to join the ATF you have to be rejected by the FBI, the Marines, the State Police and virtually every other government entity.) Now we have the Virginia ABC Board, who apparently hires people who can barely read and write an make reasonable deductions.

This is what tyranny looks like: they get people so nervous about walking the line, worrying about saying the wrong thing to the wrong person, and turning the public into obsequious, fawning little wussies, incapable of standing up against government and any other kind of wrongdoing.

The message of the vilification of George Zimmerman is clear, but hardly commented upon: it tells us that we should not fire in self defense against attackers, that we should just comply with criminals – as was done in Great Britain, where you can get harsher treatment for defending your home than the villain gets for breaking in and beating you to to a bloody pulp. That’s what they want you to learn from Zimmerman: don’t resist. Not officials, nor criminals. Obey the savages.

Which is why each and every decent American of every race and kind should get training in the use of deadly weapons (and when and where self-defense is applicable) and to develop personal fitness in order that some little bastard (literally) like Trayvon Martin doesn’t get on top of you. It should have been Zimmerman on top of the little buttwipe. Zimmerman made one mistake (one of the rules of Doc Savage, fictional character or no): learing to depend entirely upon a firearm. Firearms, yes: but self defense and physical fitness are every bit as important. Get professional training in firearms AND personal self defense.

What you need to know about punks like Trayvon: most of ‘em can’t fight, and they rely upon numbers most of the time – most of ‘em can’t shoot and most of ‘em are abject cowards. Just like their President. And NEVER let them get you on the ground. Run if you have to, but don’t use a ground game if you are dealing with more than one – put THEM on the ground.

Zimmerman is teaching a lot of people a lot of lessons. Learn.
