The main source of wealth for the Empire of Ghana was the mining of iron and gold. Iron was used to produce strong weapons and tools that made the empire strong. Gold was used to trade with other nations for needed resources like livestock, tools, and cloth.
These imperial seals were made of jade, bronze, silver, gold, ivory, and meteorite. Imperial seals typically have inscriptions written in the ancient seal script, but by the later part of the Nguyễn dynasty period both Chữ Hán and Latin script were used for some scripts.
As salt was worth its weight in gold, and gold was so abundant in the kingdom, Ghana achieved much of its wealth through trade with the Arabs. Islamic merchants traveled over two months through the desert to reach Ghana and "do business." They were taxed for both what they brought in and what they took out.
Arab traders crossed the Sahara to Ghana, which they called the “Land of Gold.” The king collected taxes from merchants who came through his empire. They had to pay taxes on goods they were selling and goods they bought. The king also took all gold nuggets found in his kingdom.
In Chinese culture, gold is associated with power, wealth, longevity, and happiness. It is considered the most valuable and significant gift one can give, and is included in many celebrations, such as weddings, the birth of a child, the New Year, and other important occasions.
Later Le Dynasty
Later Le Dynasty, Vietnamese Nha Hau Le, (1428–1788), the greatest and longest lasting dynasty of traditional Vietnam. Its predecessor, the Earlier Le, was founded by Le Hoan and lasted from 980 to 1009.
The seals, which mainly live in cold parts of the world, seem to be taking a tropical break. Over the last two weeks, two seals have appeared in waters of the southern coastal province of Binh Thuan, surprising many local citizens as well as visitors.
Royalty is not exactly a strange or unknown phenomenon to us here in Ghana. We have lots of royal houses instead of the single royal house of the British. Our social and political setup before the advent of colonialism was very much based on royal houses being in charge.
A succession of three great kingdoms came to power as their people, gained control of valuable trade routes in West Africa. Ghana was the first of these empires, followed by the kingdoms of Mali and Songhai.
Countries such as Switzerland, Australia, and Canada are known for producing high-purity gold, while countries such as China and Russia are the largest producers of gold in the world.
The United States
The United States holds the largest stockpile of gold reserves in the world by a considerable margin at over 8,100 tons. The U.S. government has almost as many reserves as the next three largest gold-holding countries combined (Germany, Italy, and France).

This demonstrates the hunger that Asia has for gold, and even with the world's largest production of gold, China remains a huge importer of the metal.
The first Chinese Domination of Vietnam was significance. Emperor Han Wudi successfully conquered Nanyue(Vietnam) and adjoined it to the Han sovereignty. The purpose of China ruled was to control Red River Delta, a geographical terrain for trading supplies with other powerful countries like India and the Roman Empire.
Ho Chi Minh led a long and ultimately successful campaign to make Vietnam independent. He was president of North Vietnam from 1945 to 1969, and he was one of the most influential communist leaders of the 20th century. His seminal role is reflected in the fact that Vietnam's largest city is named for him.
Lions are not native to Vietnam. The depictions of lions in Vietnamese arts were adopted from Buddhism. These images were adapted to include local traditions and beliefs. The depictions of lions and nghê in Vietnamese arts are not totally realistic, but instead highly conventional and stylized.

The trade route began in the West African gold mines that were controlled by a series of empires over the span of 1,000 years, including the Kingdom of Ghana, the Mali Empire, and the Songhai Empire.
In the 11th century CE the Awlil mines were in the hands of Takrur, but it would be the Mali Empire (1240-1645 CE), with its capital at Niani, that dominated the sub-Saharan salt trade following the collapse of the Ghana Empire.
The United States has the largest gold reserve, with more than 8,000 metric tons of gold. This was more than twice the gold reserves of Germany and more than three times the gold reserves of Italy and France.
The value of gold is determined by its purity. Despite this, the difference in value may lean towards the design of the jewelry. This is relatively true whenever consumers ask why Japan gold is more expensive than Saudi gold. Just the same, the common gold found in a certain location is also a factor.

Australia and Russia hold a large share of the world's gold mine reserves, accounting for 8,400 metric tons and 6,800 metric tons, respectively. Worldwide, the production of gold reached an estimated 3,100 metric tons in 2022.
